My name is Presley van Eirlyss and I am a demigod.
I have seen a lot in my fourteen years.
And when I got to school I am in 9th grade.
My Mortal Parent, Charlotte Ingalls , raised me from birth.
Though my other parent, turns out to be Boreas, God of the North Wind and Winter
What led to my discovery of all this? Well you see...
I never knew my parents, though my uncle always said my mother had abandoned me a long time ago just so she could live the life of a college student. It really wasn't a big deal, she probably wouldn't be happy with my current life anyway. I was homeschooled in Maine, since I never really got along with other kids. It was a great place, we often visited the mountains when we had free time. It was like living in winter everyday, we could sled, ski, snowboard and the like. And with my cousins around, some of my best memories were created from those moments. It had been like that for a while, even when I started becoming interested in music. My relatives were supportive and allowed me to attend singing lessons and self-taught many instruments. I wasn't born with artistic talent, it took a while for it to develop. I became a songwriter/artist and after a long complicated story I finally found a job in the industry.
After consent with my aunt, I signed the deal with the company, becoming a songwriter/vocalist under the pseudonym Crystal's Nostalgia. Because of my contract, all information about me has been confidential to the public. No one except for my own manager and family know of my real name, age or anything of the sort. I'm not complaining though, I prefer performing that way as it gives me a better reason to do what I do. I'm not even that well-known, and as with before, it doesn't bother me.
One day when I was out enjoying my winter break, I had been attacked by an old, green-skinned lady with wings. It was weird, how often does that happen? But I was still startled when it happened, and I tried to run from it. After a bit I realized it wasn't going to leave that easily. Eventually I found a sling and defeated the creature with it.
I wasted no time running back home, telling my relatives about the strange encounter. They had then told me about a place called Camp Half-Blood but however they knew about it was anyone's guess. I then had to travel to New York and find the camp all alone.
And that's when I arrived at Camp Half Blood.
Since then, I have been at camp for two years.
And I have obtained the following beads:
(Beads - leave this blank unless otherwise instructed)
I usually am told I act like a secretive person. I don't openly state my life to others, or anything about me for that matter. I don't go to others when I'm hurt, I try to solve everything myself. I have a strong pessimistic, sarcastic view of life and it often shows whenever I talk, which isn't often considering I'm pretty quiet. I'm extremely mistrusting and tend to question who my real friends are, or what if someone really is what they say they are. Once I believe in something, I'll stick to it until proven otherwise. I can be stubborn for that reason and I'm not much of an idealist when around others, either. I can laugh at anything that sounds impossible, maybe even insulting at times.
Once you know me enough, I can be kind and thoughtful. And who knows? I can be a deadpan snarker at times, so you might even have fun when I'm around.
I really like
+ What I do
+ Ice cold beverages
+ Dogs, especially Saint Bernards
+ Traveling to the mountains
+ Skiing and snowboarding.
+ Cold breezes
+ Freezing cold
+ Snowy days/winter
+ Solitude, depression
But I hate
- Drawing attention to myself
- Bright lights/sunny days
- Hot temperatures
- Meat (he's a vegetarian)
- Most people
- Over-saccharine happiness
- Physical Education/sports
And please don't bring in having my identity discovered in public, blood, becoming attached to others/falling in love, becoming a failure and
spiders.
But no matter what one day I want my own house in secret from the public view, (maybe in a snowy mountain) where I'll continue to write and produce my own albums.
In case I have to fight I have a two-handed longsword called Avalanche and a smaller saber.
I'm really good at singing, staying in the cold for long periods of time, keeping to myself, snarking.
But I'm horrible at staying calm under panic, being nice (most of the time), seeing past my own logic.
