My name is Lachlan Rutherford and I am a Demigod .
I have seen a lot in my eighteen years.
My Mortal Parent, Barbara Rutherford, raised me from birth.
Though it turns out I am descended from Jupiter
What led to my discovery of all this? Well you see...
I was born and raised in California, where my mother worked as a meteorologist. She was a really busy woman and rarely had time to look after me. She often left me with a babysitter, and everything seemed to be getting along just fine. The babysitter was pretty nice, and even though we didn't always get along we still had fun together. We were a rich family, but that didn't really make us special. Like we didn't have any special "gourmet meals" or anything, my sister and I often had... food. We didn't dress any different from "normal people", or always went on vacation to the most expensive places. We just lived a life any other person would live except for the fact my mother was often at work and rarely had time for us.

When I was seven years old, I came home from school to find my mother sitting on a chair. My little sister had tears on her face, and I was immediately confused. When I asked her about everything, she told me that she needed to take me to a place called Camp Jupiter, a camp-like area about these people called demigods. I became even angrier than anything, but I didn't let my temper flare. I only nodded and followed her to the car after hugging my sister and my babysitter goodbye. It was the hardest thing for me to do, but I didn't cry. I needed to be a role model for my sister and my babysitter saw me as a leader. I didn't want others to give second thoughts about me.

Once I finally got onto the car, my mother began driving me to the camp. She told me a little bit on what it was like and tried to console me with her words. It was rare for her to be around, and it was even more rare that she would even try to support us when we needed it. I nodded and smiled at her, thanking her for everything that she had done. Even though she wasn't active, I was still appreciative of everything else she had done. Before we arrived at the Wolf House, she told me she had always been thinking about Christy and I day and night; this was a nightmare coming true. She then handed me a letter, saying that it may be useful once I entered the house. She then sped off as I paced my steps toward the building.

It was a perilous journey, but I eventually made my way to Camp Jupiter. I suffered two weeks through New Recruit, and then a long year as a Probatio. Now as a Centurion, I only have the goal to please Lupa and everyone above me.

And that's when I arrived at Camp Jupiter.
Since then, I have been at camp for eleven years.
And I have the rank of Leader Centurion
In the Fourth Cohort.

I usually am told I act protective of those I care for. I may not always show it, but to some of my closest friends (and sometimes even acquaintances,) it becomes really obvious whenever I'm concerned about a decision or a plan being made. Though I won't try to stop them if they decide to go along with it, since I am stubborn, but not to the point where others become annoyed.

But normally, I'm pretty outgoing. I'm not afraid of making new friends or rivals, since I have plenty of both. I would make a great leader, very proud and commanding whenever necessary. I am very self-disciplined as well, so it wouldn't be that difficult to convince me to do a mission, lead a battle or anything else. Occasionally I can be arrogant, bossy or flirtatious, but I don't mean any harm or offense by it. Those traits have been downplayed over my years of residing here as well.

I really like + Studying meteorology
+ Storm-chasing
+ People. And lots of them.
+ Being in charge.
+ Climbing trees, or somewhere that is high above ground.
+ Caffeine, whenever I get it.

But I hate - Being alone for long periods
- People downplaying my intelligence
- Others who boss me around.
- Mushrooms
- Grapes

And Please don't bring in - The water. I can swim, but would still prefer to avoid it if possible.
- Being lead astray from dreams and/or tasks at hand.
- Separation from friends and family for long periods without contact.
- Pure darkness. Unless there's a light source and/or a company of people, I'm not going outside at night.

In case I have to fight I have a spear and shield made out of Imperial Gold, both which become wristbands for each hand.
I'm really good at Predicting weather from clouds, leading, communicating effectively
But I'm horrible at ”Thinking before speaking”, shutting up, hiding my fears (though I don’t admit it!)

My life at camp is interesting...
I meet a few people, who are my friends -------------
and a few people who are my enemies ----------------.
Though I kind of like ---------------

With every drop of sweat on his forehead, Lachlan groggily opened his eyes to notice the endless plains expanding before him. He had gotten nowhere for God knows how long, and he could feel his strength beginning to ebb away at his muscles. His body was covered with bruises and scars. His legs were trembling. Many other experiences were unusual to him, and a small part of him wanted to give in right at this moment. And yet, his feet kept pressing on. Lachlan was not going to give in so easily; luck was not the reason why he was still standing here. If I rest now, I'll just be devoured by whatever is here...

He glanced at the sky, checking for the conditions. There was no cloud in sight, and the sun had yet to set. It was radiating beautiful shades of purple, orange and pink. He smiled at the sight, before concentrating back to the mission at hand. Hearing a screech, he turned his head to face the winged old woman which leaped at him. He managed to dodge her in time, but he knew that she was not going to let him escape. Growling in frustration, he pulled out a pocket knife he manage to bring with him. Is that a Harpy?! At least I didn't leave the house unarmed.

It would not have been smart to recklessly charge at the creature. Lachlan knew this, dodging every swipe she threw at him. He tried to think of a way to finish the creature. When he jumped to avoid another swipe from its claws, he saw his chance. He jumped on the creature, slashing at its wings until it didn't fly anymore. He slashed at it several more times, until it had been too injured to move. At that point he ran away from it. As the creature became smaller in view, Lachlan began to slow his pace. Breathing heavily, his eyes set on the most unusual sight. It appeared as a small rocky mountain, with a peculiar hole engraved on it. Curiosity setting in, he jogged to it. I think I've found it! his thoughts exclaimed as he walked through the entrance.
