My name is
Orion James Taft
and I am a Demigod.
I have seen a lot in my 16 years.
My Mortal Parent, Lira Taft, , raised me from birth. I also have a sister, Scarlett Everly, though she isn't blood related to me
Though it turns out I am descended from Jupiter
What led to my discovery of all this? Well you see...mostly my own. I was born in Venice, Italy and lived there most of my young life. When I was four my mother moved me to the states. It wasn't a perfect life, things often didn't work in the tiny apartment and more often then not we were short on food. Still I wouldn't trade it for anything. At least then I wouldn't....I would give almost anything to change what happened next.

When I was six my life changed drastically. I remember waking up in the middle of the night. It was storming, and I felt like someone had charged my body up. I was tense, nervous and scared but had no idea why. Everything became the biggest whirl wind when I opened my bedroom door. I lost my mother that night, to something I didn't understand. Quickly dumped on a local orphanage, I tried to deal with suddenly being alone. While I was there I met another girl, a really young one named Scarlett. She creeped most of the other kids out but to me she became very precious. It was like having a little sister and a sister is exactly what she is to me.

Once again Fate wasn't done with me. I was making friends and actually smilingly again at the school I had been in. I grew a small love for some sports and was often found shooting hoops with my friends. Till one day, during the middle of a game it happened again. Again something came....and again people died. Only this time I didn't run. A stupid move on my part since I almost killed myself but hey I'm still standing. That night though is when everything changed. Someone came to collect Scarlett to her's and mine dismay. My only friend and family member was gone in a blink of an eye. Someday I will see her again. Someday.

That night my life changed again. I heard them before I saw them. Wolves were howling up a storm and for some reason I couldn't help myself but to grab my back pack, which was ready as I was getting ready to leave, and left outside. It wasn't hard for the she wolf to talk me into leaving. With Scarlett gone I had already planed to run. I was with her for months as we traveled to the Wolf House. The things I learned and saw....I will never forget. Still it wasn't long till she tossed me out and said to go south. That was an interesting and violent trip. When I arrived at Camp Jupiter I had a bit of trouble adjusting. How on earth was I fit for a thing like the legion? Apparently someone saw something in me for a girl named Jadyn vouched more me. I've been a Centurion for just about a year and a half now. Nowadays I just want to make my Cohort and my father proud.

And that's when I arrived at Camp Jupiter.
Since then, I have been at camp for 10 years.
And I have the rank of Legionnaire
In the 5th Cohort.

I usually am told I act like Protective and a bit out going. He can be stubborn but not to the point of stupidity. Willing to jump straight into the fray, Orion wants nothing more then to keep those he cares for safe. Always a bit of a quiet guy, he prefers to listen well to what those around him are saying so he can make a proper judgement. Called a natural leader before, Orion has never had trouble stepping up to the occasion or backing off when needed. A bit playful and a tad sarcastic, he always does his best to put the needs of his fellows before himself
I really like
-Rain Storms
-Singing
-Music
-Watching lighting
-Windy days
-High places

But I hate
-Losing
-Still days
-Cages
-People who don't think before they act
-Cocky idiots
-Blueberries

And Please don't bring in
-Being helpless
-Losing Scarlett
-Dying for a stupid reason
-Dying alone

In case I have to fight I have Lance, imperial gold that's roughly six foot.
I'm really good at
- Wielding long weapons
- Leadership
- Using his lightning
- Keeping a cool head

But I'm horrible at
- Flying
- Taking praise, he gets frazzled really easy
- Any form of throwing weapons
- Resisting the urge to shoot lightning at fools

My life at camp is interesting...
I meet a few people, who are my friends
- Jeton Ren
- Marcus McKnight

and a few people who are my enemies (Leave this blank for now) .
Though I kind of like None yet

At this rate Orion almost swore he was going to be nothing but a pile of ash. Behind him the rock was heating at an alarming pace and a curse leap from his mouth. He had been on his own for a week now and frankly Orion thought he was doing fairly well. Lupa had warned him that he was going to go through more hell on the trip to the camp then the average demigod. Why though he hadn't understood. The last day and a half though was starting to make him think it was because of the amount of monsters in the area. How many had he taken down now? Six.....seven....fifteen? Hell he didn't know anymore. All he gave a crap about was getting this two headed freak off his back. It had been tracking him through the night and finally Orion was stuck confronting it. Talk about a bad morning....a sharp snap caught his attention and blue eyes went wide as the statue's base, a thick slab of concrete, started to break. Gripping the metal poll that had served as his weapon tightly in his hands, Orion rolled out from behind the statue as the bronze thing came crashing down.Sliding into a crouch as he came to a stop, Orion quickly brought his jacket up over his head as another blast of fire met the metal statue sending off a bright light that threatened to blind him. That was a mistake.

With a yell he was flying, sharp claws ripping flesh and cloth alike as the powerful swipe landed him several feet away. 'Not good, not good, not good! Oh shi-' Twisting sharply, Orion was almost sure he pulled something as he trust his body away from the pouncing Chimera. His back met the base of another statue, one of the few not destroyed in the battle yet, moments before something thunked into the ground just inches from him. It was the snake head from the chimera's tail and it had barely missed him. Damn thing was probably packed with so much venom that it'd kill him eight times over. A loud roar ripped through the air as the Chimera was almost assured of it's victory. Orion replied with an almost feral growl of his own as he rocked forward into a crouch and with a twirl brought the knife end of the poll around to connect with the snake's body severing it from the whole.

There was another resounding roar as the Chimera's tail flipped about painting the area, the golden haired boy included, with blood. Now wasn't the time to consider how bad he looked or what this might look like to the norms, if any of them were still in the park that is. Finally getting his feet under him again, Orion gritted his teeth as his head swam a bit. Blood loose...lovely. Seemed like him and the Chimera were in the same boat too bad the damn thing wouldn't call it a draw and leave. For a long moment the demigod and monster stood there each seeming to calculate the next move. It honestly freaked Orion out to know just how smart the damn thing was. The first rain drop didn't pull the boy from his thoughts, it was the rasping rumble of thunder that did it. Wonderful thunderstorm, a smile crawled onto his face. He always liked storms and something about the air felt charged. Was it building up or was it just him? Following his gut he focused on the make shift spear that was his only defense and dropped a foot back both hands on the metal pole. Heart thudding in his chest, Orion made his plan and waited. The Chimera came at him again with seemingly more speed then before. Thrusting the blade tip forward, Orion pivoted, his left foot grounding him as his right arm gripped the spear and extended it out. It struck home and with a howl the Chimera collapsed on its' side dragging Orion with it. Now on top of the creature he pulled the short spear back out and with a yell drove it back in. Only it wasn't just the metal that went into the beast. A bright yellow flash met the pole just as he drove it back in and with a searing heat and explosive bellow Orion found himself in the air again.

It was a long moment before he moved. Instead letting the rain cool his heated skin. He should be dead, that was a thunderbolt that hit, by all rights he should be dead. Slowly sitting up, wide blue eyes watched as little bits of electricity still lingered along the stone path. A giant black scorch mark was all that was left of the Chimera and he couldn't help the lopsided grin that rose to his face. What drew his eyes to the statue that he had been against, Orion didn't know but the irony was not lost on him. Standing tall in bronze, bolt aimed at the very spot where the Chimera had been, was a human's rendition of Jupiter
