2nd Cohort Barracks

The 2nd Cohort plays second place, but a very high honored second place. As the pride of the Legion, the 2nd Cohort often holds those who might not have the most extraordinary connections, recommendations, or letters, but they've good enough to hold their own with the 1st cohort.

There are 4 barracks, two for each gender, with 10 bunks each. The beds aren't comfortable and any wounded in your cohort end up staying in their beds, but its always filled with those who will watch your back. A porch runs along the outside of each, where hammocks, chairs and tables are set up. It is on the same side of the Via Principalis as the other barracks. Thus it shares latrines (bathrooms) with the other barracks.

Judah lay on his bunk throwing a small ball up in the air. It was one of those times that he felt like thinking and doing little else. He had already read the handful of history books that he stolen from one of the many libraries and now he was just thinking. His mind was a everywhere at once. He was still not sure how he had ended up in the Second Cohort since he was such a pain in the a** to everyone. Still he did not care. He let his mind wonder to his other thoughts. He still had no way of finding his family. So Judah started working on a plan to get out. For the last three each plan he had tried had failed. So he knew he needed to try harder, that was all. Think like one of those "Romans". Feh, I bet that if this was ancient Israel none of them would last a day. Judah thought angrily. How on earth had he gotten into this mess in the first place. Oh yeah... that camping trip. He caught his ball and rolled onto his side. Closing his eyes he let his mind create a new plan to escape. It was not like anything special was about to happen anyway. And besides, what was the worse that could happen, more punishment? Yeah that was no big deal at all.

there are no coincidences.
