The center of life in New Rome, the forum is a beautiful plaza with status and fountains, lived with shops that will sell you anything from ambrosia and blueberry muffins to a new toga and winged sandals. Everybody stops by the forum eventually. It's the place to be seen!

While Blissey was not yet a member of the legion they had been kind enough to allow her to take a look around New Rome by herself while they thought about what to do with her. She could not blame for taking so long. Shortly after she had arrived some other new people had shown up and had created a bit of scare with the legionairs causing Blissey to be pushed to sideline while they sorted out their new, more urgent problem. This however gave Blissey the time she wanted to think about a way to prove herself to her fellow Romans. She was a great marksman (or was it markswoman) with a bow and arrow, but those weapons were saved for children of Apollo not legacies of Venus. Still her bow and arrow skills was something that she prided herself in having, she was going to prove to everyone that this sort of weapon was still a fine weapon of choice. So as the young girl made her way around the forums Blissey would look at all the different shops. Before leaving home her mother had given her some gold to use once she got to New Rome, Blissey could only hope it would be enough.
Still she was a girl after all, and a legacy of Venus so her eyes caught on some of the more pretty things. Soon Blissey was distracted by brightly colored dresses and shiny necklaces her own mother would love to have. Blissey wished she could own something so pretty, but quickly shook her head. No, she was here to find a bow and arrow set, not to buy pretty frocks. Though, if I have some money left over I probably should buy a toga to wear during ceremonies and what not. Blissey tried to convince herself as she walked away from the nicer things and started looking for a shop that sold underapricated weapons. Would she even what she was looking for here?
