Hey guys, I know this may sound strange thread to many of you because many people already own one. But unfortunately I don't own one just yet, I would like some Advice on things I should get when it comes to getting a xbox360. The xbox I was thinking about getting is a 250gb so I wouldn't have to worry about the memory problem like my brother

I've had my xbox for six years and I'm doing just fine with a 120 GB hard drive. It really depends on how much more expensive it is versus a bundle with a lower GB hard drive.

Depends on how many games you play on your Xbox. I have about 32+ games and a 320gb harddrive and I believe I used about 30% of its memory. Expensive? Yes. Worth it? Only if you plan to buy music, movies, and install games on your console. So in my case I bought more than enough memory for myself.
Things to buy with an Xbox, which is totally optional, are Turtle Beach headphones. A good standard pair is $60 and basically works as a microphone and headphones. Great audio quality and much preferred for multiplayer. Another controller if you plan to have friends or family join you for some co-op. And an HDMI cable if you have an HD TV to get pristine graphics.
You should compare different bundles with different stores, especially Bestbuy and Walmart Online Shopping. Bestbuy has a premade bundle for about 400-500 with basically what I listed above. You'd save about 60-100(just an estimate NOT an actual price or discount applied). Walmart on the other hand lets you make your own bundle and applies certain bonuses to your list such as 2 extra select games or a discount/rebate at the end of purchase. Other places to look at their Sunday ads:
-Target -Kmart -Gamestop(go here last....greedy corporate gamers)
To sum it all up, I highly recommend that you invest in bundled purchases since they save you money in the long run. If you buy the accessories piece by piece the price of it stacks up and you would have overpaid. But if you plan not to spend 400-600 all at once than check online like Amazon for any good deals.

Thanks guys, for a very long time I have been looking online for a very long time and there are places. I have been looking at stores like gamestop, best buy, but stores are like target and walmart are out of my reach. I do look in a website called Craigslist there are some good deals there from time to time and I have looked into some pawn stores were the Xbox360 have been sold there for good prices.
As for the bundles I have looking into those as well, but sometimes they come with games that I don't want like lego batman, or some other Crappy game. I do have a xbox360, brought it with my discount when I was working for gamestop at the given time

well gamestop has been having an online sale that includes a 60GB xbox 360 with tomb raider game for $99 american. Dunno if you are still looking but there you go. If you don't have a credit card you could always use a gift card on the gamestop site
