Ares' cabin is (badly) painted a bright red with barbed wire on the roof and a stuffed boar's head on the doorway. The eyes of the boar seem to stare at whoever is walking by. Apparently, there are also landmines surrounding it.

✫Demigod✫Sixteen✫Child of Ares✫ Opheila walked into the cabin and sat on her bed, happy to be home. As she looked around the cabin she wondered what it was about the cabin that made people so scared to come in. Granted the boar on the front of the cabin was a bit terrifying it was no reason to condemn the whole cabin. The cabin was filled with trophies of battles past, but there were personal touches too, her own area contained a small shelf of books, translated into Greek of course, and a closet that rivaled some of the Aphrodite's cabin. Some of her cabin mates had posters of heroes or pieces of art, someone even had a pet cactus. Opheila grabbed a book, War and Peace, and started to flip through the pages trying to pass the time before the summer campers arrived. Finding herself unable to focus on the pages she noticed the pealing paint on the wall. "It really is bad in here." She said to herself. "Maybe we could get some of the Iris kids to help us paint it, they're good with colors." Now the thought was in her head, it wouldn't leave. 'With a little maintenance the cabin would look respectable again,' she thought. With that in mind she got up to find the Fitzpatricks, the heads of the cabin, She would need their approval for this project. Opheila smirked then headed out, knowing she'd get her way either way.

Morrigan looked up as Ophelia walked into the cabin, giving her sister the barest glance before looking back down at the comic in her hands. She was talking to herself. Again. 'Weirdo.' She thought, flipping the page quietly atop the bunk she lay upon. Likely, she had passed over Ophelia's notice. She was currently burrowed beneath her comforter (a hand stitched quilt she had made about two years back in the arts and crafts cabin) and probably looked like nothing more than a pile of blankets. To be completely fair to Ophelia, this sight was not unusual. It was rare for Morrigan to make her bed, if it was not a cabin inspection day. The mumbling girl mentioned something about paint, brightened, and fled the building. At that, Morrigan sat up, one eyebrow quirked above the other. Paint? Why bother? She set the book aside and kicked the quilt to the end of the bed, looking around at the room around her. The inside of the building was just fine. Sure, the paint was peeling a LITTLE, but...well, okay. They could stand to put another coat on. But it was so much work, she thought, cringing at the steps. Scrape off the remaining layers, the fraying bits, put on a coat of primer to make sure the topcoat would be even, move all of the furniture and cover it... Ugh. Too much effort.
She flopped back onto the bed and picked up the comic again, reading three more pages of Wolverine disemboweling his enemies before curiosity overcame her and she looked toward the door. Was she coming back? Would she end up getting permission to paint? And if she did, heavens forbid, would she be expected to help? She sure as hell hoped not. Tucking the book under her pillow Morrigan swung her bare legs over the side of the bed, leaping nimbly onto the floor. She landed silently and padded over to the window, the sill of which held her pet cactus. She couldn't remember the last time she had watered it, she thought, running her finger through the dry soil that held the plant. It didn't need much water, but she supposed it was about time to do it again.
Flicking the tiny sombrero atop one of it's fists, she wiggled a pair of shorts onto her hips and straightened the faded orange camp shirt she wore.
'Good enough' She thought with a shrug, using one of the hair tyes around her wrist to bind her long hair away from her face. One more moment to stuff her feet into a pair of flip flops, and she was on her way to the lake to get some water.

▆█▆▅▃▂▂▃▅▆█▆ "Ah, it's so great to be back at the camp!" The female head of Ares opened the door wide open as hard as she could, causing the walls to shake, and jumped on her bed. The mattress was rather old, and a bit hard, but it was good enough for Destiny. In fact, she didn't always like things to be soft. So being in a rough place wasn't that bad for her at all. "Now we don't have the oldies yelling at us all the time!"Her brother followed in the room shortly after. He laughed as his sister jumped on the bed, recalling the memories of home, when he had to share a bunk bed with her. She'd jump on that thing so much, and he was the one on the bottom . . . truthfully, he had been scared that she'd crush him and ruin the bed, but it never happened. So he allowed himself to be calm by the memories of home, and casually sat on a bed that wasn't anywhere close to his sister. Sometimes, she was too loud even for him. He could act out, but he didn't want to be so obviously identified with her. So if he ever got angry -- and he usually did -- he was able to keep the anger to himself. It took a special person to make him lose his temper. He gave a sigh, "Instead, we have other camp counselors. Destiny, you should probably try to act a little more your age . . . We don't want to be a bad example.""Bad example! As if!" She scoffed, folding her arms together. Her brother and his assumptions! They were truly wacky sometimes. She picked up a stick -- the stick that she picked up outside prior to entering the cabin, and pointed it at him, her eyes gleaming with energy. "I'm just showing my enthusiasm! I mean, how many people are excited to be here? All of us, of course! And we're the HEADS of this cabin, for the Gods' sake! Of course we need to show some energy around here. How about you, Dimitri?"The son of Ares shrugged. She and random objects didn't go well; she could make anything into a weapon. Even just a piece of paper, and it didn't help that she was so hot-tempered . . . but he kept to himself and responded, "Only when the time's right. And you sound so worried . . ."『"There are two things in life for which we are never truly prepared: twins." 』
