Rules of the camps
General Rules
- Follow Gaia Terms Of Service and Rules & Guidelines.
- Respect all Members of the guild, if a member feels they are not respected by any members or crew please contact a Vice Captain or the Captain.
- Do not argue with Crew/VC/Captain, they are the law around hare, if you feel they are being unfair please contact another VC or the Captain.
- This guild is PG-13 rating. That means minimum cursing/cussing/swearing, and absolutely No Cybering!
- Only selected Crew can Claim. See Who's In Charge Here. for the list
- Do not post until your Profile has been claimed, if your profile has not been claimed after being finished for one week please PM a crew member.
- Write a minimum of four sentences per a post, we are a semi-literate to literate guild - the more you get the better.
- Use Third person for your post. That means you should be posting "He/She/They" instead of "I/Me/We".
- Try your best with Grammar and Spelling. I know that not every possesses perfect abilities in these two categories but we request you try. if needed here is a site for spell check/grammar it is completely free.
- No God Modding, Power Play, Auto-dodge, Auto-hit. We play fairly in all of our camps. Some powers will be close to god moding (Ex: Aphrodite/Venus's Charm speak, Dionysus/Bacchus' ability to cause maddness, etc etc) IF a character uses them they MUST receive permission from the target.
- You May Not play your godly parent or any other person's characters. Doing so is referred to as Puppeting and we do not allow it.
- You must include Camper's name, and cabin in your posting format. If you need help with a format check please contact a crew member.
- You may not be a master of your power from your godly parents right off the back you must learn to control them. The same goes with fighting/using weapons
- If you wish to play a god please fill out the Application found Here
- Demigods do not use electronics in camp or normally outside - the use of electronics that send out a signal can attract monsters.
- No child of the Big three is allowed to be a twin. As there are limited slots per Big 3 this is to prevent anyone from taking up almost all the slots. The only exception is that of different users - who have had permission.
- All first year campers must be 13 or younger. You may not be older. The only exception is characters created for plots developed by crew.
- All More-Then-Average Campers: those with abilities like Apollo's foresight, Aphrodite/Venus's Charm-speak, Hephaestus/Vulcan's fire control, MUST APPLY[]Here
- Mary-sues will not permitted in this guild. Confused as to what a Mary-sue is see here
- Campers must apply for Magic Items, and must roleplay out them receiving them, from their godly parent.
Camp Half-Blood
- Greek Campers cannot leave Camp without permission.
- All campers must ask the Oracle of Delphi in order to receive a Prophecy.
- Campers may challenge the Head of Cabin to a duel for leadership, If they 1) have been at the camp more years or 2) have more completed quests. For a list of Heads of Cabin please look here.
- All new campers must be first year campers, unless crew says otherwise.
Camp Jupiter
- Roman Campers cannot leave Camp without permission.
- Roman campers are more disciplined, formal, militaristic, and warlike. Your campers may relax on that standard when among close friends but not at any other time.
- In this camp it is the strong who survive. Should you chose to make a weak character be prepared for hell and possible death.
Titan Camp
Non-Applicable until Titan Camp is complete.
Quests
-The ones who go on quests will be selected by the owner of the camp, Camp, Trainers, and/or Various gods/godesses
- Crew will notify (PM) the ones selected for the quest
- The First one selected will be named Leader and must receive a prophecy from the Oracle
- Anybody ranked crew or above is allowed to post at various times creating challenges for the demigods (ex. A Cyclops jumps out and Grabs Mary. etc.)
- Begin every quest by leaving camp
- Gods and Goddesses cannot directly interfere with Quests. Only Artemis if she wishes to invite a member of the quest to join her Hunters
- A member of a quest may post in both the quest and the Camp after a week absence from camp. This is to give the appearance they have left on the quest and have returned. Please Consult with the Quest Moderator.
OOC subforum
- No creating topics meant to make fun of a character or a member
- Watch the spoilers. Some of us don't like them so be respectful and link the spoils so those of us who don't want to see them won't.
- Keep the drama to a minimum.
