Tribe Rulesxxxxxxxxxxx● No fighting! This means mostly physical, but verbal fighting that gets out of hand will be split up. There is no need for that. ● You don't work? Then you can't play. Once you're an adult you need to pull your weight to be allowed to be included in events.● Any member who mates with an outsider must speak to Elder before life-mating. ● Betrayal, severe violence against members/outsiders, or endangerment of tribe can result in banishment. ● Foxes born in tribe who wish to leave must wait until adulthood then speak to Elder. RP Rulesxxxxxxxxxxx● Be at least semi-literature. This means no chat speak, noob speak, or such. Proper grammar and spelling is loved. ● Be respectful of other RPers or you will be asked to leave. This is supposed to be fun!● You must speak to Yushika before life-mating out of tribe or leaving tribe. ● Talk to Yushika if you want any plotted drama, just to make sure things are good. However, keep all OOC drama out.● No godmoding. Seriously.

Aboutxxxxxxxxxxx xxxx While the Hassani Tribe may not be the tribe you can rely on during battles or conflict, it's the perfect location to kick back and enjoy some fun. There never seems to be a dull day, the members always enjoying some fun festival or performance or singing along as they work. The foxes here celebrate life through laughter and joy and they wouldn't have it any other way.
xxxxThe tribe believes that life should be celebrated through happiness and joy. Not only that, but sharing this joy is a key focus of the tribe, for true happiness is not believed to be selfishly kept to oneself. The tribe performs and holds events for other foxes to join in and they live a rather pleasant life.
xxxxFoxes are expected to work when they first wake. One fox is assigned to wake the others when the Elder rises and makes sure that everyone gets to their jobs. Even a tribe of fun must work to keep themselves steady! However, this tribe promotes singing while working or entertaining themselves by playing small games that also benefit their work. Lazy foxes and slackers cannot have certain jobs as hunters or careers, nor can they be performers. They must find another way to be useful! Anyone who doesn't participate in work are not really allowed to join in during events or festivals. Why? If you don't buckle down and do the boring and hard work then why should you be allowed to relax and party later? Besides, tribe duties do not take that long, it's ridiculous not to join! The more foxes working the faster they get to play!
xxxxThe tribe believes in sharing joy, so what better way to do so then host events? Constantly the tribe is celebrating some holiday, event, or simply performing for the fun of it! Every evening an event is not hosted the tribe holds a talent show. Free, as most things in the Modifox world are, foxes who are willing show off their talent, abnormalities, or tell stories! These foxes are labeled the special rank of "performers" and have their unique abilities or appearances. No one is forced to be a performer, ever, however those with special talents are encouraged to share them. The acts aren't always for strangers to enjoy, either! It can serve a time where performers simply enjoy their unique skills or life and allow others within the tribe to enjoy it with them.
xxxxWhen a stranger visits to see the show the Elder will announce the rules and lead foxes to see performers. Strangers are even encouraged to show off their talents, or lack of! This is purely a time to enjoy what the tribe can offer and have a break from your duties and responsibilities. At night performers take a break and settle back, joining the tribe and visitors for food and partying. It is usually late at night when everyone turns in.
xxxxWhen events or festivals are held it is a big deal! Gatherers are sent to steal items from the city, careers help kits get ready and decorate here and there, shamans makes sure everything is absolutely safe, scouts split into two groups, one decorating and another rushing off to invite anyone a member asks to invites, hunters assist gatherers except collect food instead of items, and the Elder makes sure everything is alright and assists setting it up! Tribe members can choose any job but are highly encouraged to help set the event up at home! Anyone can join in as long as you do not bring in any drama. Events range from simply eating good food and setting off fireworks ( Daeva's light them, though they are usually small fireworks that do not explode within the sky ) to games and heavy partying! It all depends on the occasion!
xxxxThe tribe acknowledges that life is not all good, however they possess a unique view on life. Pain is not always bad, for it is believed to remind you of what brings you joy and what you love most. The avoidance of pain is ideal, but if pain is inflicted mentally or physically you will have a family by your side. It is believed you should remind yourself of what is good in your life during hard times and to remember pain is simply a reminder of these things importance,
xxxxOn the topic of pain, while the tribe is known for celebrating life through events and a rather loud roar of joy they also can approach life quietly, if rarely. Deaths are serious within the tribe. A funeral is held and the tribe marking is halfway covered. A saying is spoken by the Elder and the tribe each approaches the grave and recites a fond memory of the fox or speaks from their heart. After, a small event is held where foxes eat the deceased favorite meal and focus on the good qualities of the fox. Illness is treated somewhat similarly. A favorite meal is produced and the foxes focus on the good, however the marking stays uncovered and foxes do not speak of memories.
xxxxOther life events focused on are births, matings, and reaching of adult-hood! All events are celebrated with a big party full of lights, sweets, and performances! Foxes who reach adult-hood or are mated are blessed by the Elder, and births are greeted with the tribe hoping best wishes for the kits! New life and change of life is important and a huge event!
xxxxKits are taught as soon as possible how to balance responsibility and fun. Careers jobs are to make sure each kit realizes that they must perform their duties before partying. Careers are expected to keep kits by their sides at all time, unless the parents wish to be near them, and to help children train or realize their potential if the child wishes to be a performer. Anyone in need of training are given to a performer or worker of that skill or similar to learn under the careers watchful eye.
xxxxHunters and Gatherers are split into two groups. One half explores the forest and the other steals from the city. Scouts patrol the land and help new foxes or visitors learn their way, and Shamans makes the tribe performances safe and sound. The Elder flips between all these jobs when they wish to and keeps order. What the Elder says is law, however usually life is peaceful enough for law to not need enforcing.
xxxxThe tribe has two locations. During spring and summer they live within the forest on the outskirts of a city. Tree stumps, hollow logs, and trees serve perfect areas to hold anything and for props. Foxes live within the caves close by or on the clearing. Kits are always kept inside the caves and Shamans have there own personal cave to hold the sick and herbs. The city is for winter and fall, a time when the tribe slips into an abandoned warehouse and sleep in various rooms.
xxxxFoxes are rarely expelled from the tribe, however multiple instances of violence is certainly a no-no.
xxxxThe tribe is very peaceful towards other tribes and often encourage them to visit or offer their home for fun or shelter. War will never happen unless extremely needed, and that is almost impossible. Out of tribe matings are a little tense, though, for the Elder worries for the happiness of two foxes apart. However, it isn't banned. As long as foreign tribes have one of the tribes Scout members nearby to watch them then they are happily permitted to stay around as long as they want.
xxxxOver-all, the tribe is one that likes to share joy and experience it through events, performances, and any other means of joy. There is rarely a dull moment within the tribe, too. Peaceful in nature towards strangers and other tribes, it's a place to kick back and forget your worries. So why not come on down and participate in the fun? Deityxxxxxxxxxxx Gelos 'Deity of Laughter xxxxGelos is generally assumed to be the 'Deity who spoke to the Elder. It is believed he is a playful creature who flourishes best when others are laughing around him. He often likes to play pranks and games within the tribe at night. During events dedicated to him he has been known to play with flames to announce his joy to be noticed. He doesn't seem to provide much wisdom unless the tribe is in dire times, but he isn't completely flakey. He will send messages of warning and advice to the Elder during his sleep or prayer, and will defend the land as best as the 'Deities almost childlike nature can manage. Primarily he serves as a God who brings fun and appreciates fun done within his tribe. He has been known to leave berries in bundles if he finds something particularly pleasing, but that's pretty much the extent of what he doesAll Year Eventsxxxxxxxxxxx● Life Festival: Someone is pregnant? When a Shaman notices pregnancy it is immediately noted within the tribe and quickly action is taken. Members get together and start a fire, mostly with the help of a 'Daeva, and everyone gathers around wishes well for the kits to come. The Elder quickly speaks to the Shaman and Careers and the three begin preparations for making the tribe safe and making sure the kits can be raised with little interference. The night is long and full of laughter, blessings for the kits to come, and bonding over the new life. The next few days or weeks of pregnancy ends in the same night, where everyone gathers together and wishes the best for the kits to come. Members are busy preparing in the morning, and a single firework is obtained, if possible, from the city. When the children are successfully born it is lit by a 'Daeva in celebration. This marks the end of the festival.● Coming of Age Ceremony: So it is time for the kits to become adults and take their place within the tribe. The tribe gathers together and the new members are taken up onto a log. Their name is announced by the Careers as well as their new job. If the new member is to become a performer then they are to give an example of their performance, if they can, or tell the tribe what they wish to become. After this event the now newly grown members are lavished in love, presents, and good blessings. The rest of the night is partied away!● Parting of Life: Neither a ceremony or festival, this marks a death. The tribe gathers together around the deceased ones body, or unless there is no body then simply gather together. The tribe covers there tattoo half way. The Elder recites a saying or event they remember of the fox. Foxes can speak to or about the deceased. The fox is buried within the tribes grave-yard and each fox leaves an item on the grave, whether it be a simple flower or jewelry. The rest of the night is quiet, a feast of the favorite foxes food is eaten and the deceased is focused on with good thoughts for the afterlife.● Life-Mating Celebration: This is generally a ceremony decided upon by the couple themselves. While a life-mating is important it is also personal and can be shared or not. Typically, the Elder blesses the couple and performers perform during a meal of the couples wish, but it's not required. It's simply like a marriage, the couples choose what they wish to do, if anything, and the Elder helps make it happen.Spring Holidaysxxxxxxxxxxx● April Fools: First day of April is spent tricking one another and laughing as others fall into pranks! Nothing malicious or harmful is allowed.● Mardi Gras: Oh ho ho! This is by far a favorite holiday! Okay, so they don't get the meaning of it, but who cares? Three days are spent partying hard, playing with fire works that have been stolen, prancing around in stolen beaded necklaces, sipping colored drinks managed to be nicked, and much more! It's basically a time of loud chaos! The foxes slip into the city during this time and party with the humans, kinda. The parade that runs by is exciting and thrilling, too! Sadly, kits are kept home to be safe, but Careers make sure to have some fun while they can!● Parents Day: Combination of Father and Mother's Day, children, whether adults or not, of other foxes pay their respects to their parents. Some may travel to see parents. Foxes with parents in the tribe are encouraged to spend the day doing their parents chores and making their parents comfortable and happy. Summer Holidaysxxxxxxxxxxx● Refresh Day: A tribe holiday, this day is spent relaxing in water and teaching anyone who cannot swim how to swim. It's mostly meant to cool themselves off during the hotter part of summer and bond. Fall Holidays mrgreen xxxxxxxxxxx● Halloween: A favorite~ Kits are sent to "trick and treat" later in the night. The morning is spent taking kits off to play while the adults set up creepy stolen decorations and grab sweets and berries from the city. If there are no kits foxes slip into the city for sweets, return, and tell scary stories and explore the abandoned building they live in during fall/winter for scares! It's a day full of scary stories and giggles.● Thanksgiving: The day before is spent collecting as much food from the humans and forests as possible. The day of is busy in the morning, setting food up and making sure there's enough food. The evening is speak eating and being grateful for what they have in their life. It is a time to reflect on what is good and what you appreciate. Babies born on this day are seen as the physical embodiment of mischievous fun.Winter Holidaysxxxxxxxxxxx● Christmas: Another favorite. Foxes give presents to one another and some visit family. It's a day of love and happiness. Babies born on this day are said to be the physical embodiment of joy.● New Years: The morning is spent stealing from the humans while the night is spent partying like crazy and remembering the year! Unable to see a ball drop the foxes instead just party until the morning appears. A circle is made randomly and the foxes say what they wish to accomplish as a tribe for the new year. The sun rising is watched on the roof and foxes kiss and make a wish when the sun rises completely● Valentines Day: A day for love. Couples spend the day together. Those with crushes are encouraged to show some affection or a hint of their love this day. Presents can be exchanged if they wish. Babies born on this day are seen as the physical embodiment of love.

Pastxxxxxxxxxxx xxxx The tribe doesn't have much of a story.... Yet. A fox was born into a family of stress and hardship, living amongst foxes who were pessimistic and unable to spare a smile. He was incredibly unhappy in this environment for he was a cheerful, caring, and playful fox who believed life should be spent with laughter. He was quickly smothered under the depression and tension, kicked aside for more serious matters.
xxxxThe kit grew into an adult who was often ridiculed in the family for being a playful sort. He would sing during chores and enjoy spreading the joy by juggling (as best as his clumsy self could manage!) and walking on his front paws. He was eager to gain friends and did so much quicker than his more serious siblings. For a time he left home and travelled with a group of foxes, entertaining strangers nearby and enjoying bringing a smile to those who needed it. Yes, hardships came, but he found it much easier when he looked ahead towards the good and accepted the pain as a reminder of what is and what can be then by wallowing in sorrow.
xxxxDuring his travels he stumbled upon a land within the woods. That night, during a rather long sleep, he dreamed of a creature he could only assume to be what those called deities. Oh, what joy it was to finally speak to one! However, this creature took no definite form for him to see, and it spoke in no clear voice. It only showed images of the land and another within the nearby city and a tribe of performers and cheerful foxes being led by one man. Him.
xxxxThis was all that was needed for the male to leap up in the middle of the night and reenact his dream to his friends. Of course, he added a little here and there, but the message was delivered safely! Some left, shaking their heads at the mere idea of how ridiculous this fox must be, but others smiled and stayed, helping the male set up their new home and seeking the place within the city they could also call their own.
xxxx The male fox has stayed within the tribe ever since, waiting for more to join and to bring much joy into people's lives.Presentxxxxxxxxxxx xxxx Abiodun, the male fox who is now the Elder of the group, is settling down nicely and waiting for new foxes. A storm is approaching and Abiodun is considering evacuating everyone to the city location. Just need to wait and see!

xxxx The Hassani Tribe is split into two central locations. During spring and summer the tribe resides within the forest outside of a nearby city. During fall and winter they move into an abandoned warehouse long forgotten by humans. Severe storms call for the tribe to move into the warehouse as well. ● Forest: Inside the forest is a little clearing just for the Hassani Tribe. It has various hollow logs, tree stumps, and three caves! One is for the kits, Careers also sleeping with them as well as any parent that wishes to. Another is solely for Shamans to keep their herbs and house the sick. The third is deep and branches out. The rest of the tribe sleeps here.
xxxxA river is nearby, leading to a tiny little pond for bathing and general fun. It's clean enough to drink, but the river is used more for that function. Many berry bushes reside around the pond and a few fruit trees can be found a few miles away. ● City: Deep within the huge city lays a few warehouses, abandoned and seemingly forgotten by humans. One warehouse that has been cleaned of broken glass and checked to see if safe houses the Hassani Tribe. Of course the tribe seem to always see if they can find an abandoned house instead, but the warehouse is safe and warm for the time being. Inside lays many trinkets stolen by the foxes including food, cloths, shiny decorations, and even more!
xxxxThe kits are kept on the second floor at night. The first floor is guarded by Hunters at night. The rest of the floors are used as each fox wishes. A couple can keep a room to themselves or share it with other members. No one is allowed on the roof until dark and kits are absolutely not allowed up there! We don't want any children falling!
xxxxThe rest of the city is allowed to be explored as long as children are escorted by several members and foxes keep safe.

Tattoosxxxxxxxxxxx xxxx Can be in any color, multiple colors, or shade as long as it is visible. It can be any size, but once again much be visible. The tattoo can also be on jewelry, but it's pretty much supposed to be on the skin, too. Other than the required tattoo foxes can have any other tattoo on their body in any color. Piercingsxxxxxxxxxxx xxxx Piercings can be anything. It's generally preferred a fox gets the tattoo but if they really don't want to you can get a piercing with the tattoo as a jewel. Foxes can have any piercing they want in any color on their body. Yay for acceptance!

Elder: Abiodun Shamans: None Careers: Kabuki* Hunters: None Scouts: Kiara* Gatherers: None Members: None xxxx Foxes marked with * are performers as well. Rank Definitionsxxxxxxxxxxx● Elder: Leader, boss, the guy that has final say. The Elder is in charge of keeping the tribe safe. The Elder is the one that makes all the major decisions and keeps the tribe together. Also, only the Elder can pray to the Modeites. ● Shamans: Healers, medics, kind of like doctors. Shamans make sure everything is safe before launching events or festivals. They also create medicines and tend to the sick, injured, or old. Before any event that requires construction can happen a Shaman must check everything and seem it safe. Some Shamans can use very limited elemental magic gifted to them for taking the role of Shaman, but most don't. ● Careers: Careers are like babysitters, but more important. They take care of kits and take the responsibility of training them and helping them either discover what they wish to become within the tribe or gently nudge them on the right path. Careers must always be with the kits at all times when children are born, however parents are allowed to be near their children and play with them. Careers are more in-tune with BCRs and can sense basic needs and wants from BCRs and children.● Hunters: Blessed with heightened senses when they take the job of Hunter, these foxes gather food from the forests and cities. They hunt mostly, leaving thieving to the Gatherers. Hunters protect the tribe when in the city and are the main fighting unit if violence is threatened upon the tribe. ● Gatherers: Thieves and collectors, they collect items from both the forests and cities. Almost all stolen goods are from the Gatherers. These foxes are quick on their feet and excellent at sneaking.● Scouts: They have extremely good navigational skills and almost never get lost. They send messages to other tribes when need be. Quick on their feet, Scouts are the foxes sent to steal from the city. They are the best foxes to have lead anyone around and can always find their way. Scouts patrol the territories and bring strangers to the tribe to ether visit and see the performances or to join. ● Members: Foxes who dabble in all tasks except Elder. They haven't decided on a set skill and prefer to help when they can. They are called to help when someone needs assistance and are basically an extra set of hands. PerformersxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxThese foxes are not just Performers. They primarily have one job and are also Performers. Each fox has their own talent. Some can juggle, some can sing, some can do other tasks one cannot imagine! However, they must perform before the Elder and Shamans first to ensure everything is safe and alright to do. More talents will be added as more foxes come to the tribe with a new performance. Singers: Kiara Dancers: Kabuki ● Singers: The musical talent. They sing songs they either made or learned. Some teach others. Sometimes some singers will sing during others performances for some special "oomf". ● Dancers: They dance to entertain. Each performer has their own unique flair and style. Shamans keep their eyes on Dancers to make sure they don't sprain anything or hurt themselves.

My fox doesn't really have a special talent. Can they be accepted?● Not a problem! They don't need to perform! At all! It isn't a requirement. What happens if my fox mates outside of tribe?● Speak to Abiodun before sealing the deal. He will probably be pretty chill about it, but if kids happen he will want the mate to move very close to the tribe for the kits.
