Yuichi the Spinda, a new recruit to the Butter Biscuits Rescue Guild, stood just outside the entrance to Caterpie Forest. The little Normal type couldn't even help but wobble as he stood in his place. He was a bit nervous -- this would be his first time going into a dungeon, after all.

"Are you sure about this?" said the Spinda to another pokemon nearby, a speckled Buneary. The other Normal type was his friend and teammate, Kylie, who was a rather mischievous despite her cute appearance. Going into the dungeon was her idea, but as she was his friend, he decided to follow suit. Friends stuck by one another, even if they were nervous.

Before the Buneary could even respond to his question, Yuichi interjected. "Guess I'll go first, then. In case it's dangerous." The proper thing to do, normally, was to let the woman go first. Ladies always went first, but this could have been a possibly precarious situation. The last thing he wanted was for Kylie to get hurt. So, instead of allowing that to happen, the little Spinda swallowed his fear, and took his first wobbly steps into Caterpie's Forest.

Kylie, a mischievous buneary from the Buttery Biscuits Rescue Guild, had chosen her and her partner, Yuichi's very first mission. She was more than excited when they stood in front of the entrance to the forest. Before she could say anything to her dear friend, he was already heading on in! Kylie followed close behind, curious to what they would find. She was quite disappointed that there was nothing in the first room. She smiled and nodded at Yuichi's idea of her leading into the next room. She peaked around to see which way she wanted to go, "Alright, I suppose we will go......THIS WAY!" she exclaimed excitedly as she pointed to a random direction and heading off to it.

After the combee beat the sense into Kylie, she slipped off to her partner, "Well... that didn't go well" she told him as she rubbed her newly gotten bruises. "Perhaps I should follow you now.... and look out for those darn bugs!" she advised.

The moment Yuichi stepped into the next room he came face-to-face with a Caterpie. It was a very angry Caterpie, at that. The bug-type pokemon glared at the Spinda, and then began running straight toward him and his partner. Apparently, this was his territory, and they were intruding!

Kyrie patted her friend, "I guess we both need practice then so we can protect each other better" she told him with a soft smile then looked around, "Which way should we go... hmmm" she pondered but before waiting for a reply she took Yuichi's paw and headed into the next direction. She was hoping for a rare item or food.. she was a little hungry after getting beat up.

The caterpie rolled over, knocking Kylie to the ground again. After the continuous attacks from the caterpie, Kylie rolled over and played dead till the caterpie left back from which it came. Once gone, Kylie sat up and sniffled a little. She was all muddy now and looked like a fool in front of her friend. She wiped her eyes and stood up as she started to dust herself off. There was no way that she would let Yuichi see her cry.

Luckily for the both of them, there was nothing in the next part of the forest that Yuichi had walked into. It was empty, and when the Spinda saw this, he let out a sigh of relief. Now the two of them could rest, at least for a little bit. That would be nice. Not having to deal with another pokemon, not having to carry some items found on the ground - just resting and taking it easy.

"Who knew dungeons would be this crazy, huh," Yuichi commented, swaying to-and-fro where he stood in the middle of a glen in the forest. "Where shall we go next, Kylie? Lead the way, my fine friend!"
