Some games are memorable for all the wrong reasons... talk2hand So, what's the worst game you've ever played? For me, I'd say Thrillville for the PSP definitely. stare It was SO bad that I turned it off within 15 minutes and drove back to Gamestop the next morning to return it, which I've never done to any other game before. xd I thought it would be like Roller Coaster Tycoon, which I love, but never again, lol.

Way back when I was a kid, I had a computer that had an Atari 2600 port (I think that's the right number?) and played games on floppy disks. And I mean the 5 inch floppy floppies, not the 3 inch later ones. That had some pretty bad primitive games along with a few gems. I can't remember the name to all of them, but there was this one edutainment game where you played a pixel bunny chasing certain kinds of numbers. The walls would close in on you, speeding up their approach. While you could use the numbers to shoot the walls back, it became nearly impossible to keep up within a few minutes. That's probably the worst game of the bunch we had, although there was also a boring horse race game.
There were some bad-glitchy games for that computer too, but those were kind of fun to play. There was one, Maxwell Manor, where you played a stick figure guy and explored a weird mansion. It had 100+ layouts to choose from, about a dozen handheld items (of which only three actually seemed to do anything), and no directions at all. Some of the enemies and obstacles were glitchy, either doing nothing or working far too well. There was also a glitch where if you pushed up and right against a corner, you could teleport through walls. You could even walk out of the grave doing that after a game over! I played that one so many times and never beat it.

Elder Scrolls: Oblivion. I could barely get past the beginning since the controls were just too annoying and it was impossible to create a pretty character. Most RPGs in a typical fantasy-style setting aren't my style in general, and when I say that I mean both Western RPGs and JRPGs. If the setting is unoriginal, chances are I won't play it.

I was able to create a pretty character in oblivion and the controls were good...ok i played it on the xbox because back then didn't have a pc who could run it. but the pc controls are not bad either i think. i dislike skyrim more, idk it's just so boring, doesn't seem to have many mysterious things going on etc

I'm usually pretty careful about avoiding games that are just plain awful. Lord of the Rings: Conquest stands out as a big disappointment though. Quote: Elder Scrolls: Oblivion. I'm not sure what the controls are like on the console versions, but on the PC they seemed okay to me. And thankfully there are plenty of mods that enable you to make decent looking characters (although some go a bit too far and basically turn your character into a pornstar or a lolita doll).

I've played some bad games- but there was one in particular that left me so utterly disappointed that I returned it the very day I got it
That was Final Fantasy XIII

I'm bored so i am listing more of my worst games i played:
Star Wars The Force Unleashed 2: tooooooo short and lame story (finished the game in 5 hours)
Sonic and the Dark Knight: do i have to say anything more?
Spirit Camera: The Cursed Memoir: while i bet the game itself could've been good, it was horrible for one reason: you had to use the gyroscope of the 3DS to look around. I can't get a horror feeling while i have to wave my 3DS and head around like an idiot. I brought it back the same day i bought it and got another game instead.

ifcruel72 Star Wars The Force Unleashed 2: tooooooo short and lame story (finished the game in 5 hours) Definitely agree with you there. It was just a complete letdown after the first game. Oh, and let's not forget about the cringe-worthy, repetitive, and completely boring boss fights (especially the last one). And the horrible dialogue. gonk

It was still limited in how often you could make those choices, but it wasn't just at the end.

Get ready for the worst game on the N64... the one that would cause all of your friends to run from the room in terror: Superman 64!!! emotion_0A0 Superman 1999 wikiWords cannot describe how bad this game is. Just go to your local Play-N'-Trade, or other retro gaming store, and play it for yourself if you really want to know how bad it is. (That, or watch the Angry Video Game Nerd's review of it...) It Is HORRIFIC gonk
