I've read about it...and while i would like to say "Something like that could never happen in europe" it sadly already exists in france...
anyway i think it is stupid. how can they know that no one else used the ip? how are they going to prevent people from using VPN's? if someone uses a VPN they can't know what sites they visited and if the download is from Mega or similar sites it is also encrypted so they won't know what they have downloaded.
i think this will only hurt people who did nothing wrong and just downloaded a view songs....
The problem is, that's exactly who it's targeting. Instead of changing their business model, the entertainment industry has opted to lobby all of it's resources into prying into their customers lives. They're not going to catch the serious offenders with this, they're going to catch little Susie downloading One Direction songs.
well i hope those idiotic greedy managers make the industry die!!! i will never ever implement DRM in my games. i mean why should i force people to be online all the time on pc games? that's just going to make more people pirate it!
this is just an insult to their customers...
i hate the entertainment industry by heart! (at least the old big ones who do stuff like that)
i hope they fail big time and then people like me who care about the customers rise above those big old names and be like "F U!"
