We discussed ways that we can raise funds for our room during our last meeting, and we came up with some great ideas. We all have our own talents and abilities, so let's use them! Please join one or more groups! heart
Art Shop/Art Auction
You will sell/auction one piece per month/auction/whatever so you do not overload yourself and get backlogged. Profits go to the room funds.
Writing Shop
Write super good stories for people's OCs. There are some middle school kids who need serious help from you, and they are willing to pay. Only take on one job at a time with a page limit of five pages or something like that. Don't promise a novel.
Booty Grab
Have no marketable skills? Join the booty grab team! Just go and play a few tanks, and donate 10-25k of winnings per week, depending on your level of hatred for the game. Again, don't go overboard. These fundraisers are not meant to kill anyone.
Our Goal
For our room, I am setting a goal of 1 million gold. We can probably count on getting about 2 million from the general fund, but that's not a guarantee. We may end up supplementing in the end if that is the case, but at least we can buy cash and sell bundles for profit if we're desperate. Please send any donations for our room to my ball mule, Cielne. I'll keep a running til of how much is in her. Room Funds

We've reached our first goal! Congratulations! Now, let's see if we can reach our second, and final goal! biggrin

Alrighty. So Ink is working on a few temp. shops over the next few months in regards to art. If any other Artists are interested quote me. I'll work on slapping up a few mock ups and some forms for y'all to fill out. Current project: Art shop with Sari1995 for the month of March.

I will run an event in my shop, a masquerade event. Anyone who wants to colore lines for the event, let me know, got al ot going on right now with the prism , St. patties and spring/ester events coming up, so it may not be till late April or early May.

LilChibiusa Thanks, everyone! biggrin You know, after thinking about it, I realized that if each person in here raises 150k between now and the ball, that will put us at our goal! That seems doable, don't you think? It sounds fair enough to me. Hee hee. I kind of feel like a girl scout in a weird way...speaking of... Oh sweet girl scout cookies you dastardly devils known as tag alongs. Why do you taunt me outside of the store every single time I go shopping in the day? gonk Coooookies. Ah uh! But yes fundraise! Right!

I've got some funds I can donate but I was hoping to get more before I made my donation...I've got like 300k right now...I will donate when I hit 500k. I can't do any fundraising right now, no time and bad internet make it impossible to do games...plus the flu is making its way through the family and I am trying desperately not to get full blown sick.

No worries! blaugh I am only 28k on my way for fundraising at the moment! We probably won't be buying prizes until the first of August, so we have loads of time to get it in! If anyone has trash, flowers, bugs, fish, that they wish to get rid of, I will take it all. I have some ways that I can use it to raise funds and will of course donate any resulting gold.
