Abilities : Strong powers when it comes to the ghosts of the dead.
He can easily communicate with the dead. Usually he can hear them, speak to them and pass their message on if it's required. He's also called upon when a haunting becomes a public nuisance. If an exorcism is required he uses his alchemy to aide his magic and of course charges a large premium. His exorcism technique involves summing the gateway to the beyond, where the spirit crosses over.
Occupation : Medium and occasional exorcist.
Battle Style/Magic: Cassiel is evasive when it comes to battle. He much prefers to blend into the shadows and make an escape than to fight. However, if he does need to fight he will prefers to use melee techniques. He'll even go so far as to allow a fallen fighter to possess his body and fight for him but this is only done if he has no other choice.
Favored Weapon/Item: His staff. It's fashionable, ceremonial and brings the hurt.

Clairvoyance: ability to see the dead.

Possession: only used as a last resort. Cassiel will allow spirits to possess his body if the situation requires it. There have been cases when a spirit was able to over power him briefly, but he is always able to reclaim his body.

Personality : Cassiel is able to ignore the day to day discrimination against him and his people. He counters every scowl and look of disgust cast at him with a smile. Though it sometimes takes a toll on him. Finding the friendly faces during the rough days can sometimes be impossible. Everyone is not made of the same mold; he knows that. The older generation is stuck in their ways, the newer generation learns from the old. He tries to make a good name for the Nephilim once more and break the cycle. He is helpful to those that need, and accept, his help. He also keeps his distance from those that look down upon him.
In his spare time he's usually found wandering the woods collecting plant specimens. Occasionally he'll be found talking to himself, or rather, to a ghost. Humans of course cannot see with whom he speaks with and just assume he's talking to himself. Because of his unique gift he's able to bring closure to some ghosts and their living relatives.
When a haunting occurs in town, he's usually the one called upon. He charges a small fee to speak with a ghost, however if the situation escalades and an exorcism is required, you can bet that price skyrockets. Just because he is nice and helpful doesn't mean he wont charge a premium. He has to make a living too, and his father taught him the ways of being a shrewd businessman.

Talents/Hobbies :
Writing is his hobby. One thing a ghost is good for is a good story. Cassiel has many, many journals in his private library with stories of the past. Ghosts have nothing to hide and spill the secrets from beyond the grave. He began to write the stories down to create his own book and have it published. However, he has yet to sit down and pick which ghost stories he wants to publish so he continues to fill journal after journal.
Botany is another hobby.
