》A History to Remember《 || Title Post || Storyline || Rules || Profile Skeleton || Organizations || Locations ||  The year was 2012. It was a normal day. People went on with their daily routines. Life didn't seem any different to anyone. But, that normal day changed in an instant. Before anyone could blink, fire rained from the sky. The land caught the flames faster than a person could blink and the streets became soaked with the blood of those who were unable to escape the flames. Many people took cover inside buildings and in basements. The world was thrown into complete chaos.
The year is 5034. Life goes on, though the events of the past never left history. It has been recorded and documented in history books, story books, and official papers. The governments of the world have come together, forming one big central government that rules over the world. They claim to be protecting the well-being of humanity--no, of the world. And, at first, that was true. They acted only in the peoples' best interests, but like the past, they became corrupted. Now, the government controls every aspect of the peoples' lives. Those who obey this new government are considered perfect humans, and are given special privileges. Those who don't are considered outcasts, and are often killed by government agents in order to keep the peace. The outcasts are then disposed of from the memories of others and they continue on with their lives.
But, among this so-called "perfect" society, there are always those who are willing to rise up against the government. To return the freedom to the people. These people have become a world-wide rebellion known as the Anarchists. They are described as deadly, and anyone wearing their symbol are to be gunned down; no man, woman, or child is to be spared. But, the government has made a flaw in their order and speculations. While they believe the Anarchists are adults, trained in the military or other government oberatives, the truth is that this rebellion group are teenagers. Teenagers who have witnessed the horrors of this new world and wish for humanity's freedom. Teenagers who are not trained by the government, but by their desires and mistakes.
Are these teenagers in over their heads, or will they achieve freedom once again? You decide. Write the story and create a history to remember.

xxxxxxxxxx-Don't think this makes me a power-hungry jerk. I'm actually a softie, and I may let things slide once or twice. That doesn't mean you have the right to do it, though.
xxxxxxxxxxFollow Gaia's Terms of Service. Although I claim this roleplay as my own, it is located on Gaia. Therefore, I proclaim this roleplay to be rated somewhere between T for Teens and M for Mature.
xxxxxxxxxxBecause of the setting of the roleplay, I will allow cursing. But, don't go throwing the F-Bomb or having every fourth word being a curse word. Keep it reasonable.
xxxxxxxxxxThis is an action-type roleplay, but seeing as the rebellion consists of teenagers, romance is highly encouraged. But, should the clothes come off, time-skip it! No one wants to see your dirty buisness.
xxxxxxxxxx-I will also not encourage going to the PMs for your dirty deeds. It is against Gaia's Terms of Service. With this, I am allowing all sexualities to be part of this roleplay.
xxxxxxxxxxThis roleplay is long-term. So, if you're one of those people that join only to post a few times and then quit, please don't get our hopes up.

Literacy and Posting
xxxxxxxxxxThis roleplay is semi-literate. That means correct grammer, spelling, punctuation, etc. Also, try to post at least one, maybe two, paragraphs. We all understand writer's block.
xxxxxxxxxxThe ideal amount of posting is at least two or three posts a day, but that's probably unrealistic for some of us. So, three to five posts a week should suffice.
xxxxxxxxxxAlways let someone know when you are getting off for the night! It's not fair to keep the people you're roleplaying with wondering if you're off for the night or not.
xxxxxxxxxxI don't like to restrict peoples' posting creativity, but when it comes to sizes and colors, please use a size no smaller the 9 and don't use bright colors like yellow, cyan, or lime. Other bright colors aren't encouraged.
xxxxxxxxxxThough I won't make you go nuts when making a post layout, at least make it fancy.
Characters
xxxxxxxxxxIn this roleplay, you can play a rebel teenager, citizen, or a government agent. Rebel ages range from 13-19, citizen ages range from 10+, and government agent ages range from 25+.
xxxxxxxxxxRoleplayers are allowed as many rebels, citizens, and agents they want, but a person can only have one member of the Kumori.
xxxxxxxxxxI would like to look your character over once it's posted, so please let me know through either PM or profile comments.
xxxxxxxxxxOnce your profile is read and accepted, you can start posting.
xxxxxxxxxx-That also goes to say that your profile may need a bit of revising, so make sure to read any notes you may see on the return PM/comment. All notes regarding this will be in red.
xxxxxxxxxxKilling off characters is fine and, in all honesty, is expected. However, do not kill any characters without their roleplayer's permission. If you wish to quit, which I hope will not happen, then you can either kill off your character or have them run away like cowards....Your choice.

The so-called terrorist group. Their goal is to put an end to the government's hold on the people and to create a world where everyone can live freely. Though their leader's name and face is unknown, even to them, they follow behind him faithfully. Their combat methods consist of guns and hand-to-hand, and they have members who are extremely knowledgeable in the fields of computers and other technologies. Though the cause of gain is unknown, the Anarchists have their own television set-ups.
The Government
The organization that runs the world. Every year, it is ruled by a different person. They're goals were pure at first, but they soon became corrupt with power and now seek complete control over the world. Their weapons consist of high-tech humanoids programmed for the eradication of anyone who poses a threat to the higher ups.
The Kumori
The government's six best agents. Though they're mainly used for wiping out political rivals and assassins, their current mission is to find and destroy the Anarchists. They are numbered by their strength levels. Six being the strongest and one being the weakest; though, one is still very strong. However, they are incredibly gifted in different talents that add to their deadliness. These separate skills are: Agility, Strength, Knowledge, Stamina, Strategy, and Camoflouge.

A vibrant city located near the center of the world. Astue is a rather large place, where a variety of cultures can be found. The city is a popular trading center due to its location and is almost always extremely busy. Astue is a crowded city, and prejudice against the Anarchists is strong in most districts. The city has a strong military and is well protected from attacks from the outside. The area does have an unusual climate. Its winters are harsh and cold and the summers are as hot as blue blazes. The fall and spring however, are usually somewhere in between. Astue consists of several districts that vary in size and shape. The landscape around the city is a grassy plain with few trees.
-The Slums
The poorest district in the city, despite the city's large size. Located to the far east. Most of the people here have to deal with poor living conditions, and are lucky if they are able to find even a scrap of food or a small drop of water. The district is mostly inhabited with the outcasts that aren't killed due to the extreme prejudice level of the city. The buildings that are still here are all consumed with rot and decay, and aren't in good condition. This area reeks of the vile smell of death and decay. Everyday there is a desperate battle for survival, and being sent here is practically a death sentence. The slums are full of crime and injustice. Some people are even willing to starve and kill children if it means they get their next meal. Disease makes living here an even worse experience. If your not killed by other people fueled by the instinct to survive, disease will surly render you.
-Upper District
The Upper District consist of a variety of types of homes and buildings. Mostly only the rich and privileged people live in this district. However, few outcasts live here as well due to their families. This is the location of the Anarchists' leader's home.
-Middle District
The Middle District mostly consist of middle-class individuals, and is quite large. It is located to the far south. Prejudice isn't as strong in this district compared to the rest of the city making it an ideal place for the outcasts and Anarchists to make there home if they can afford it.
-Academic District
The Academic District is right next to the Upper District to the right. The Upper District and the Academic District take up the northern half of Astue. This district mainly consists of high class schools and colleges. Most of the schools are hard to get into without money, and 99.9 percent of the time, they don't accept any of the outcasts unless they are in the military or have the money to pay for it.
-Government and Military District
The center-most district. This district is the base of all government and military operations dealing with Astue’s political and military forces. There is a tall tower in the center of the district which is the main government facility, though a large military facility surrounds it. The research center resides a bit west from the tower, and the barracks are located to the east.
-Marketing District
The name says it all. It's the main place to go if your looking to buy. The stores and markets here have just about anything you could be looking for. It's also the location of the Black Market, which consists of slave markets, exotic imports, illegal smuggling imports, and other things like that. The marketplace is located to the west of the city.
-City Ruins
Once the location of part of the Government and Military District until it was hit with an accidental nuclear bomb explosion. It's highly advised to avoid this location because it is still radioactive aboveground. Underground, however, is the central location for the Anarchists' headquarters. What better place to set up shop than a place that isn't given a second glance?
