~About twelve, Sunday Episode 2~
Alex had no reason to say no to Natsuko's suggestion, though he made a mental note not to leave his new phone alone with Natsuko. On their way to the Natsuko pointed out a house and a few other sites "Wouldn't this principal be your middle School Principal. I know you have to pass an entrance exam as I did."
-----------------------
Kimiko had after the day out with Takeshi had studied all of her cover stories history. It seemed fair that she should at least visit the Lolita cafe especially, after a closer look she found the name Tenso, Natsuko in the employee listing, she was also conveniently the name of a girl their target was staying with and whom Kimiko had been asked to buddy with when the girl first started working at the cafe. The coincidences racked when she noticed her, cover still had her uniform and needed to return it
Kimiko leaving Takeshi to his business had left the apartment late in the morning. She reached the cafe a little before noon and after spending a good fifty minutes chatting with the manager. Mostly to stay in character she went to leave, as it happened her target and old collogue entered the building. Kimiko grinned and as quickly as possible snapped a picture of the boy, and texted it to Takeshi with the message "This is our man". Then she emerged from the crowd and approached Natsuko. "Natsu-chan it's been a while since I last saw you."

Natsuko smiled as she led Alex and Karin to the café. It wasn't far out of the way, and the weather wasn't too bad, so she hadn't minded the walk too much. Also, the novelty of having a guest to show around hadn't worn off yet, and besides! Her sister was unromantic. If this relationship was going to work, Karin most definitely needed a push! They headed inside the café and Natsuko was immediately stopped by a former work colleague, who she had actually quite enjoyed the company of – though they'd never spent time with each other outside of work, so Natsuko couldn't quite bring herself to call the other female a friend. She smiled at the sight of her. “Kimiko-chyan~! Nyaaa... you left me here and now there's no one to bunk off with, eating cakes in the storeroom,” she half-whined, though she was obviously teasing. She had missed her, when she'd left though, and she hadn't exactly been joking about dossing off. “Oh! I should introduce you! This is Karin – my twin I told you about,” she said, gesturing to Karin, before doing the same to Alex. “And this is Alex-san who will be staying with my family for a while... He's from England!” she said, excitedly. “Did you want to eat lunch with us? Alex-san's shout!” Karin face-palmed. Natsuko really didn't get social etiquette, did she?

Kimiko chuckled at Natsuko though they never met it was clear that Kimiko would actually like her. So any enthusiasm would require no faking, "Sure I can't resist a free meal, unless your friend would object she said before lifiting his head up "You get one freebie but from now on, my eye's are up here" she said causing Alex to flush with embarrassment. He hadn't meant to look but the older woman's cleavage was incredibly enticing. So much so he found himself immediately spalunking, "I'm sorry" he muttered deciding he now had even less reason to object to one extra person.
They were shown to a table in the cafe and Alex scanned the menu, it was filled with cakes, sandwich's and the like there were a few French treats as well. He made his decision quickly then.

Natsuko glared at Alex, when he was caught staring at the woman's cleavage and then looked nervously at Karin to see how the girl would react. Karin, famous for her death-glares was living up her reputation. If looks could kill, Alex's heart would have long-stopped. “I told you that he was a pervert, Natsuko,” she grumbled, under her breath as they all took a seat. “I want a milkshake. Banana,” she grumbled, still glowering at Alex. Natsuko watched her sister cautiously. “I-I... I would like a strawberry short cake... and a pain au chocolat... and... maybe a chocolate milkshake... and also a –” she began but Karin kicked her. “OW! What what that for, Karin-chyan...?” Natsuko mumbled, lower lip trembling. “Haven't you eaten enough today already?!” she growled. “You're not even paying for this, and if you keep eating like this, you'll bulge even more out of your swimsuit than you did last year! And we all remember last year,” she grumbled and Natsuko just whimpered. “I... I'll just have a salad instead, thank you,” she mumbled.

Takeshi moved through the city like he had lived there all his life, this confident movement drew no attention from those around him. Even entering the (Name Pending) Café was a smooth liquid movement as if he had done it a thousand times before. His eyes moved quickly on entering, even though Miku had told him where the target was sitting he still needed to be on guard in case he or anyone he was with saw him at the wrong moment. Specifically Kimiko, he didn’t want to interact with the target directly this soon in his mission. So he allowed himself to be lead to an open seat taking unnoticeable care to not be seen by his “sister” as he moved to the empty chair and pretended to read through the menu. It was Miku who took the time to actually read the menu so she could give Takeshi his menu choice so he could better observe. One thing did catch his eye though, and that was how familiar one of the girls seemed to be with Kimiko. Like she really had known her for some time before the mission had started… How long had this woman been undercover in this town?
“Excuse me sir, would you like to order?” “Well she sounds cute, you’ll probably want the coffe and strawberry crepes… or the mousse looks good too.” At the prompting of the waitress Takeshi looked up and spoke softly, “Yes, I’ll have a coffee and the strawberry crepes.” “Very good sir.” Then as she left he pulled a newspaper from inside his jacket and opened it to the sports section keeping it just to the side so he could continue to watch the target’s table without being noticed.

The small bell above the door rang as Takeshi entered and Karin glanced over her shoulder before looking back to the group. Only, she had to look over her shoulder again. Her expression changed from casual curiosity to something more intrigued than anything else. “Well hello, there...” she mumbled under her breath with a grin that suggested she might feel famished, and was looking at a feast. She chewed on her lip as she eyed up his backside, following it as he headed to his table. Natsuko looked up when she realised that Karin wasn't listening to her. She was used to Karin feigning interest with affirmative grunts, but the girl had ceased responding at all, now. She followed the girls gaze to the boys backside and leaned out of her chair to follow it, too, as if transfixed. As he sat down and the girls caught sight of his face, Karin let out a quiet mumble of pleasure and turned back to the table to rejoin the conversation. Natsuko however, sighed longingly and the chair fell backwards. Karin merely groaned. Always one to cause a scene, Natsuko was. Well... she wasn't helping the blonde up.

Alex attention was drawn by the bell, but his glance was only quick another man was not of interest to him. What was of interest was Karin's reaction, which made him smile as he watched her watch the other young man. He smirked behind his menu glad to see the girl had such a weakness. Though he said nothing until Natusko, who was beside him fell backwards from her chair. Alex turned to the girl and helped her up, as did Kimiko "Are you ok" he asked as they set the table up.
As look would have it as they were doing this the manager and owner approached the table, he had decided to wait table's today as was his want to do so. Of course he was glad he did as he approached Alex and co he noticed the young man's obvious western look. "A Gaijin interesting and perfect" a grin crossed his lips and he sped up ignoring the first table he passed to stop before Natusko's.
"Ah Natsu-Chan I hope you are ok" he said smiling at the girl who had already developed a reputation for such things. Had she not been so hard working he would have been forced to fire her long ago. He made a mental note that it was she and her "dear" sister who had brought in this young man, so Natsuko's next mess would be ignored. "Now what can I get everyone today, a drink, a delicious cake or perhaps a job". Alex turned at the last word job, "Were you speaking to me or to Karin?", "To you my dear boy, you would be the only young man at this table and I am in need of a young man. We only have four waiters which is one short for my manned Gundam Wing Week. I hope you are familiar with the anime for if so this will make my pitch very short. I offer you a week's trial to work as a waiter here, during that week you will dress as Duo Maxwell and I assure you tips are not shared out. Should you do well I will hire you on the same contract as Natsu-Chan here, which is 900 yen an hour plus tips for fifteen hours a week. Plus any over time which I will pay 1,200 Yen per hour plus tips of course. So what do you say?" THe first thought to go through Alex's head was simply "Well I'm not an American, but I did tell my parents that I'd get a job as they can't continuously support me over here. Then I can also pay Shisho and Minarim back for letting me stay with them. "Sure I'll take it can I ask if we can refuse any requests for pictures?" "Indeed though you might loose out on tips but that is your precognitive" "I can live with that. Ok order time, I'll take a tea and a ham, brie and cranberry Panini." Alex glanced at Karin "Natusko expressed she wanted a strawberry short cake a chocolat milkshake and a salad" he said choosing not to get her in any trouble with Karin. Karin apparently only wants a Banana milkshake*. Kimiko then interjected "I'll take my usual" Kimiko said with the confidence of a woman who had taken every opportunity to ear here which according to her bio she had. "Can I tempt you with anything else Kimiko-Chan or should I say Sensei?

Natsuko cringed, knowing all-too-well the smirk that would be forming across Karin's lips as Alex and Kimiko assisted her in returning to her chair. She turn beet red, slumping in her chair and withdrawing into herself. She nodded in response to Alex, though, and nothing more. She was used to it. She was a walking disaster. She was lucky the chair wasn't broken! She was not wrong about Karin's smirk as the girl turned to her to mutter – just loud enough for the table guests to hear her. “That's one-nil Natsuko-chan,” she grinned deviously, and then watched aa the manager came over to fawn over Alex for being American... which he wasn't, of course. Her smirk only grew. Like she would not be happy with being called Korean or Chinese, she imagined the Briton would not be thrilled about being referred to as an American. She had to stifle a laugh when Alex expressed interest in the job. He'd regret it. He'd moved to a new country, had no friends, was taking on school in a language he obviously only had a vague grasp of, and now he was going to take a job on top of that? He was crazy. He'd be running back home to England before White Day was even upon them. This was perfect. Natsuko gasped dramatically when Alex asked if they could refuse to have pictures taken. “Why wouldn't you want to have your picture taken, Alex-san?” she asked, clearly bewildered. “After I finish making your costume, I want the world to see it!” she exclaimed, albeit quietly. Karin cocked a brow. “Since when were you making his costume?” she asked, her raised brow becoming a furrowed one as she frowned in confusion of her own. Natsuko beamed. “Since just this second!” she chirped. “He'll look so cuuute! I want lots of pictures of it!” Karin could only sigh in response, and then flinch as Natsuko gasped over-dramatically once more. “Stop it with that, you're not at the Oscars!” she grumbled, not liking the girl being so enthusiastic about things all up in her face. “Sensei!? Are you going to be teaching Manager-san, Kimi-chyaaaan~?” she asked, excitedly.

Alex who was oblivious to Karin's assumptions he would crash an burn turned to Natsuko "You do know Duo 's outfit is just black and white and I wouldn't mind pictures just one type of picture. That's all I meant" he finished we was glad for a reprieve when Natsuko asked the woman sitting with them a question. He had to admit that she was gorgeous, even ignoring her chest which he was now working almost exclusively on doing so. Her long dark hair was oddly coloured but some how completely natural as he noted her eyebrows were also blue if only slightly lighter.
Kimiko turned to Natsuko "Yes did you forget I finished my main post grad I'm going to be working at a local high school from tomorrow." Kimiko said in time for there food to arrive, she glanced Takeshi's way and decided to have a little fun. "You know Karin-chan, he's starting at Shiromiko tomorrow and I should know because he's my step brother." Kimiko indicating Takeshi who Karin had very obviously been ogling despite her admonishing Alex. She loved having two pairs of ears though it did occasionally mean someone like Natsuko would likely be annoying if she got to excited. However Kimiko already felt quite fond of the girl and would happily continue their friendship.

Natsuko listened to Alex and cocked a brow. So all black couldn't be cute? Clearly, he'd never seen the group of Kuro Lolita girls who stalked the town centre on a thursday afternoon. Wait! Of course he hadn't! He'd only arrived yesterday. No matter, she'd have to show him. Black could be cute! She had been about to respond to him when Kimiko spoke to Karin, who grunted in disapproval at the '-chan' honorific. She'd never much liked it and especially not from someone she'd only just met. However, Karin seemed to quickly forgive Kimiko at the news of her relation to the boy. Natsuko and Karin's heads both snapped to Takeshi, before looking back to Kimiko in unison. “Waaah!? Kimiko-chyaaan! You never mentioned having a brother! Especially not a cute one...” she declared, although the latter part was mumbled under her breath. “You have to introduce me, sometime!” Karin laughed nervously. “Y-Yes! A-And myself, Kimiko-san!” she insisted. Natsuko's eyes widened before she smirked. “Oh! That's right. My friend is the connection, not yours. It's one-all, darling sister,” she said, with an uncharacteristic sense of glory. Karin's expression changed from nerves to fear. She would not be defeated! Not by... Fatsuko, least of all!

"Perhaps he'll be in your class tomorrow, he's an easy going young man really. He keeps mostly to himself, though that will be changing as he's staying at my apartment while his mother and my father are abroad. I don't spend alot of time with him if I'm honest, mostly because he was only small when I was your age. Kimiko said this with confidence. Both she and Takeshi had made sure their stories and how they delivered them was as consistent as possible considering their different personalities. As Kimiko talked she glanced towards Alex, with a thought she concealed her next few actions from those around her, making it look as if she was still sitting beside Karin and across from Natsuko.
While that was going on she stood up drawing her phone and continued talking. She activated the hidden ap on her phone which was revealed by both her Ki signature and thumb nail print. The app in question was a ki reader and would be the first test required. To find out what he was, a quick scan showed the boy Alex was only a minuscule five even one of the girls were stronger. Put together they easily out matched him five hundred points easily. Pure power certainly wasn't it Kimiko was certain of that, she dispatched a quick report to the spirit realm then returned to her seat dismissing that particular illusion. Once Kimiko was finished she stood "If you'll excuse me, I have some work to finish before tomorrow." Kimiko stood picking up her bag then left the apartment, she messaged Takeshi "Keep on him, do not engage him. At current he is no threat."
The message sent Kimiko clicked her fingers and she faded from the physical plane. The plane that her kind and spirits usually inhabited was a dull colourless place and Kimiko like most didn't like spending to much time there. She reached clicked her fingers again summoning an oar which she mounted side saddle and kicked off soaring into the air through the cloud line into the spirit realm.

Natsuko and Karin listened at Kimiko began to talk. Natsuko seemed entirely captivated by everything the young woman had to say, but Karin obviously had more important things on her mind, such as the banana milkshake before her and the tall-dark-handsome at the other table. When Kimiko stood up and excused herself, Natsuko felt a silence set in, a silence she didn't like. “Well would you look at that, folks!” she declared loudly, pulling back the sleeve of her jumper and pointing to her wrist. Karin proceeded to stare in confusion at the girl. “Huh?” she grunted, baffled at her sister's behaviour. “P-Pardon?” Natsuko squeaked, swiftly realising that she wasn't wearing a watch, and thus was merely pointing to her bare wrist. “Well would we look at what?” Karin asked, brows knotting together as her gaze pierced Natsuko, who seemed to lose any confidence she'd had left. The blonde rose hastily to her feet and gathered her belonging. “Haha...” she laughed nerously. “I-I-It looks like it's time for me to get a watch, don't you think? B-B-But that will have to wait as I promised m-mom that I'd hep her with the dinner.... or something like that,” she said, slowly growing quieter until she were simply mumbling. Without another word she strode for the door. “Th-Thank you for the food, Alex-san!” she squeaked as the bell sounded to say the door had been opened. So, not one of er best plans, admittedly, but she'd had to do something. Karin was losing interest in her brand new to-be-boyfriend, and that was not an option! Not when she'd not truly got to know him yet! Karin sighed and looked at Alex lazily. “She's something... that's for sure,” she grumbled under her breath, not liking how Natsuko had ditched her with the foreigner. She could have taken him home with her at the very least. “They'll take a fair while preparing to even cook, so was there anything else you wanted to do before you headed back?” she asked, figuring she may as well – at the very least – be civil.

Alex pursed his lips as immediately after Natsuko was gone he knew there was one thing they could do. "Maybe a few rounds in the arcade?" he suggested remembering they'd passed an arcade on the way into the centre. The arcade was filled to the brim with people but with luck they managed to play a few games. The pair spent almost three hours's there before they moved to head back to Karin's house.
As they reached the stairs to the shrine on the way back to the house, Alex paused. "I think I'm going to take a look up there, I'll see you back at the house" he said before charging up the steps.

Takeshi set the paper to the side the moment he noticed that the girls in the group were staring at him. Still even without the newspaper most people wouldn’t notice how closely he was truly watching Alex. Even as his crepes and coffee arrived he ate and drank in silence listening closely to Kimiko outing him as her brother. Well that would make the mission slightly hard, after all now that he had been given an identity he would truly have to stay out of sight while he hunted the target. He watched the interaction between the manager and Kimiko’s table right along with the blonde girl falling backwards in her chair. That incident elicited some quiet laughter from Miku while Takeshi remained silent. He listened carefully to every word as he sipped the coffee. They were obviously all terrible combatants to be sitting and revealing their plans so openly and he didn’t need Kimiko’s text to know that the boy was harmless. Of course if she hadn’t then no one would have heard the unfamiliar tones of a song stolen by Miku from the Disney Corporation to use as a new embarrassing ring tone for Takeshi’s phone.
So when she left and sent him the short command he heard Miku laugh just as the Song Baby that would soon be released by some Disney spawn called Justin Beiber began playing from his phone. He was quick to silence the song almost instantly and read the message before again setting the phone to silent. Then as one of the girls left Mioku spoke, “Oh, that’s too bad Ta-kun. Looks like the future mother of your children is leaving.” Takeshi didn’t say a word, choosing instead to text his reply, {That is unlikely. My generation was designed genetically to be unable to spawn offspring} “Sure, if that’s what helps you sleep at night.” Takeshi didn’t bother to reply this time; over the years he had come to learn when Miku was simply trying to elicit an emotional response.
Still without a word he left money on his table for his order and followed Alex and Karin to the arcade where he kept out of sight at a lonely Tetris machine in the corner. Then followed when he saw them leave, always taking care to remain just out of sight. It was just outside a shrine where he decided to use a different aspect of his training as he moved quickly into the surrounding woods keeping Alex just in sight. The forested area would certainly make for excellent cover.
