Okie dokie artichokie.
Now, I hate to make this sort of thread right before the V-Day event has wrapped up, since I feel like we should really just have some time to relax after and event and whatnot. But I also want to have as many options as possible, and it kind of requires us to move fast fast fast.
Okay, first we need a host. No one has signed up for the role of host for the April event, and that's the next one. I'm setting a deadline for February 20th to sign up to host the event, which can be found [here].
As stated in the thread, I would prefer if you were active in the host club subforum/the guild, and you've participated in at least one ball (the 10th, for example), and has participated at least one host club event (preferably both of the ones we've launched this year).
If we don't get a host by the 20th, then we'll have 2 options: either I host it or we cancel it. I would hate to cancel it, and I'd love to give others a chance, so get applying! <3
I'm sorry the deadline is so close, though, but we really have to get going, as I'm going to explain below. But then again, filling out the form really doesn't take so long as long as you really do want to do this. I don't want to make you guys feel like you need to apply, since it's a commitment and a responsibility, but if you feel like you do want to host, by all means apply!
The second thing is: there are no major holidays in April.
This year, Easter is on March 31st, and St. Patrick's Day is on the 17th. There will probably not be a high-traffic event forum in April to host an event in.
That's why I want to move as fast as possible, to keep the St. Patty's Day an option. I want about a month to plan, and it's pretty much exactly a month away from the 17th right now. Any later I'm not too sure we'll be able to do this on time.
So the host will be able to choose which holiday they want to do, St. Patty's (which is sooner) or Easter (which is later).
Yeah, that's about it. If you actually read it all, and didn't tl;dr, I love you so much and yeah. (:
(By the way, I'm probably still calling this even the April event until a host is chosen and we chose which holiday to take. So even though all out possibilities are in March, I'm calling the April event because YOLO. xD)
