Surely this was one of those typical first days of school, where one had to be properly dressed and primped for the rest of the student body to lay eyes on; because you never wanted to make a bad first impression! Of course, that didn't seem to be the case for this Reaper, who was walking around the campus with his frown well equipped.
"You know Fox, you could stand to wipe that scowl off your face before walking in! You'll never make friends that way at all!" Reggie stated, squirming in Fox's arms as exasperatedly as a little fox could. Really, if he was going to squirm so much he shouldn't have insisted Fox carry him.
"I'm here to get better. I don't think smiling creepily will show that." Fox answered simply, tightening his hold on his familiar. It wasn't like he was adverse to the idea of making a few friends, but if he had to pick between focusing on his classes and grinning like an idiot every time he walked into a room then he was going with the former. It just made way more sense.
"Well don't say I didn't warn you, because I did Foxy old chap. I really did." One could almost hear the the fatherly admonishment in Reggie's tone when he spoke, seeming to give up for the moment. It was a statement Fox was choosing to ignore for now.
THIS IS HALLOWEEN
WHERE IT IS ALWAYS HALLOWEEN (and sometimes exams)
