A Year Ago

Sitting down comfortably on his leather desk chair Monty stared down at the holograms before him. There were a total of 8 holograms, each hologram represented a member of the Elite. This setup allowed everyone to meet together despite being in separate locations. As this was Monty's first meeting with the other Elite members he found it odd that he was the only one without some sort of high ranking position. The other members which included Blitz Corp's head of Neo Genetics Dr. Tom-Bone, Chief Engineer of Cybernetic Bionics Prof. Pike and Cooperate Representative Theron were all people he knew from working in Blitz Corp as people who were respected in their fields. The others he didn't know so well except Sabrina Zelinski who he knew was chancellor of the paramilitary mercenary school called The Academy as well as the Blitz Corp's CEO's daughter. The CEO himself, Ezekiel Zelinski, was Monty's foster father. Though despite always proving himself as a scientist and capable business man Ezekiel usually kept Monty on a short leash. This new series of events made Monty wonder if he finally got the man's respect.

The Elite, a democratic organization where the members usually voted whenever a decision was needed was usually led by Ezekiel Zelinski. As Monty soon came to discover it wasn't Ezekiel's decision for him to join the group, they had voted him in. For whatever reason he was there at least half the members of the group wanted him there. That could actually work in his favor Monty thought to himself.

Ezekiel's hologram flickered into action, it was no surprise to Monty or to the other members of the Elite as to what was going to happen next. Ezekiel was known for his long dramatic speeches. “Members of the Elite, recently our numbers has increased by one. Monty, son of a good friend of mine who I took in and adopted as my own has proven himself time and again to have the expertise and skill to take this company to the next level. Having earned my trust I think it's about time I promote him to a more deserving position.”

Ezekiel takes out a remote and presses a button, a small holographic skyscraper building appears in the center of the room. “Blitz Corp will be branching out, our original goal was to use this company to take over the world but with threats such as the heroes in this city and ARMOR I've decided to have Monty lead our Omega Enterprises. He and a team of his choosing will focus on purely financing our operations and funding our goals.”

Tom-Bone seemed amused, Pike looked as if he was off in his own world while Sabrina looked slightly irritated and turned a way when she noticed Monty looking at her. Theron grinned, “I hope you go far kid.”

Present

Ezekiel was now dead, Monty had killed him with Tom-Bone's help. During the next few months Monty and Sabrina battled over custody of ownership over Blitz Corp. Monty eventually won but decided to make Omega Enterprises his own business and giving full ownership of Blitz Corp to Dr. Tom-Bone. Whether or not that was the best decision Monty didn't really care. He owed Dr. Tom-Bone for his help and he wanted to use his company however he wished without worrying about nuisances telling him what to do. The only threat now were the supers in the city. In the past a few have managed to stop his plans from succeeding. He will not be another Ezekiel because unlike him Monty learned from his mistakes. It was time to turn the city against the heroes, perhaps this time the Elite could offer their assistance with his plans.
