I thought the name sounded cool, especially with the 'k' I added onto the end of 'magic', but it will probably be changed as the story is changed. Here's what I have so far.
The character wields two blades, possibly a swords-woman, maybe even a mercenary. She wakes up in a tavern, and a cut-scene starts, where the lone waitress at the tavern shows up, asks "How was your nap, [Name]?" (I'm putting [Name] because I haven't named the character yet, it's just a placeholder name of Jill'.
The waitress then goes on to explain that your character was asleep for several hours, and 'missed an exciting fight'. Turns out later on, that the winner is the rival swordsman. Think pokemon, in a way, I guess...
I need to know if this is good or not. Probably extremely cliched. It's my first game I even thought about completing. Please help out, if you can, and if you want to.

I was thinking of that, but then I thought of the fact that, during my break from RPG Maker VX, I forgot how to have a name change D: How do I do that? I'm sorry if I sound like a complete idiot.

I'm sorry if I sound like a complete idiot. hard to explain here, but when you start the game do it on a black screen and set the default character as nothing, then have an auto start event, and in events there will be one called "enter hero name" something like that, if you google this stuff there are heaps of places that give instructions
