60th Rukongai District - West_____________________ This is the 60th rukongai district in the west division. It is a terribly run down district, however, compared to other lower classed districts of the west, this division is quite a close knit community. Each member looks out for one another. There is still a large amount of violence however.

Ophelia Hirino - Unseated Officer 12th Division (Temporary Layout @_@) "Only the doctor is pitted against petty morality. Only the surgeon fights against minute sentiments such as humanity. And so it was that I built this construct. To free the binds of law and govern. Where a doctor may practice without the restraints of morals. Where the surgeon may cut where he was once forbidden. No longer is the human mind bound down by a conscious. Freedom here is what it was meant to be anywhere else. To create a utopia and destroy law. To create a haven, I destroyed the ruling hand. Run free and create what your mind truly wants. My goal is fulfilled. Run my puppets and show the world my vision while I slowly rip off the flesh of those still bound by duties hand." It had been nearly a week since Ophelia had actually been awake. She often had to let her body recover from major modifications that she had made on it. This, sometimes, could take weeks or even months. At the moment, she was generally ignorant to the situations going on within Seireitei, though she had been filled in somewhat by the members of the 12th division upon her awakening. However, she had more important matters to attend to, which lead her to the 60th district in West Rukongai. Her stroll through the dusty streets was slow. Her pace didn't seem very enthusiastic though she seemed to be looking for something. Her head went from side to side every so often slowly, she was smelling the air. When she caught wind of whatever it was she could smell she'd turn and follow in the direction. Many of the residents were looking at her with strange expressions, though it appeared to them all that she didn't even notice them. He long robes dragged helplessly against the ground, collecting more and more dirt as she went on. She had doubled back several times, it was as if whatever she was hunting was moving, though she never increased her pace. A few children ran happily near her playing with a ball which one of them kicked a bit too hard and it hit her left shoulder. She stopped in her tracks with an expression of shock. She looked down at the ball with curiosity. The children froze with fear at her appearance, of course, anyone with extra limbs protruding out of their back would slightly put anyone off from approaching. She bent down and picked up the ball in her normal right hand and studied it for a moment. She then glanced up to the children and smiled. "Is this yours?" Her expression was genuine enough, made her appear almost motherly. The children gave a grimaced smile. "Ye-yes... ma'am... sorry that we hit you." The one small child started playing with the ground with his foot, putting his head down into his chest and going red, he felt embarrassed and shy. He wasn't more than six in appearance and his short black hair that was cut choppily, it ruffled a bit when he swayed from side to side. "No, no. Children are always so full of energy. Were you enjoying your game?" She still had a gentle expression as she held out her hand to return the ball. The older child, a girl, came up to retrieve it. Her long black hair was held in a ponytail, her eyes were crystal blue and she had a softness about her facial features. "We really are sorry." The young girl said as she bowed and took the ball. She gave Ophelia a large smile. "We've never had such a toy before. A shinigami gave it to us a day ago." She took the ball gently and stepped back. The younger boy was still a light shade of red and by now, the dirt patch that his foot had been so gently massaging was dug down a bit. "Ye-yea." The small boy said quietly, almost a whisper.
"Oh I see. But we must be more careful, yes? It wouldn't be good if you hit someone and they became mad yes? Still, it's nice to see that you are enjoying yourselves. That makes me happy." Ophelia spoke as she stood back up, her smile turning into a faint expression but still holding the welcoming feel. The younger girl had a very large grin on her face. "Hey! Thank you very much!" Both children bowed together. The younger girl straightened up again. "Are you a shinigami?" She asked, seeming intrigued by Ophelia's appearance that did have a traditional look about her for a shinigami, but with the long white haori around her, not a captains, but a plain white haori. "Yes, I am." She said gently smiling as her head went slightly to the side. Ophelia then approached them and patted them on the head. "Now, you two continue on and play. You have such wonderful energy about you. I can imagine your are eager to get back to your game." The children gave her a small nod and they both ran off, the girl waving. Ophelia didn't move. The faint smile that was on her face vanished and turned into something mildly sadistic. "My my, this section is always producing perfect specimens." She laughed to herself slightly before putting her focus back to where she wanted it. Her face went back to the air and she began to sniff at it again. "I see, you've moved again." She continued on, this time her pace had quickened, as if her target would disappear at any time. She appeared at a Cul-de-sac where there was a massive amount of houses all lined together and on the street there was a massive amount of people. Several stalls were set up and people were busy hustling merchandise, talking and even a few fights were happening. Several men and women stopped to look at her, though she seemed to be surveying the sight, looking for whatever it was that she had been following all day. She began to walk deeper into this little nook of people. Many people avoided even walking past her, while children seemed fascinated, the adults seemed horrified. Several men bowed, terrified as to what would happen if they didn't, suspicious minds. A woman was so startled that she dropped the food she had purchased on the ground, right in the path that Ophelia was heading. She quickly picked up her items and bolted to the side, face frantic and sweaty, she cranked her head to look back to see if Ophelia was angered or moving towards her, but Ophelia was completely ignoring anyone around her, anyone that moved, she was going straight, brushing up or pushing people aside that were in her path. No one, however, made a comment as to her actions. She reached the other side of the nook, there were several large men with spears and swords leaning up against the wall of houses. Many people quickly ducked inside to avoid her, however, the men, who were clearly individuals who enjoyed fighting and even possibly beating on women, stayed and smiled at her as she approached. Her pace was quickening, her eyes widening. Her path and destination seemed certain.
A woman was bent over talking to her small child, a man stood on the opposite side of the child. He was large, easily twice Ophelia's size. He had several swords strapped into a torn blood soaked obi that hung lazily around his waist. His hair was long and dark and his face bore many scars, in fact one eye was missing. It was evident that this man was her husband or someone, at least, that was involved in whatever affair that was going on with this child and women. Though none of that really mattered, in fact, Ophelia didn't even see the man, all her focus was on the women. Her eyes were opening wider and wider, unnaturally so. She stopped on a foot away from the group. Several other men leaning against the houses looked up and began to move slightly closer. Ophelia's expression turned into a sadistic almost blood thirsty smile, this made a few people that were inching forward stop slightly. The woman's back was to Ophelia, but as she looked up to the man's face, he was frozen, in fear? Or bewilderment, she was unsure, though she turned and saw Ophelia's crazed face, out of anyone, the women was the first to speak. "Shi-shinigami?" Ophelia didn't answer, or rather, before she could, if she was going to, the man spoke. "What the hell do you want here? Shinigami scum?" The man clearly had a vendetta for all shinigami. His hand automatically went for one of his many swords. This fully invited the rebels around into the fray. Ophelia didn't answer, she only continued to stare at the women and small chuckles began to come forth from her, it looked as if she was surveying her. The man took a step in front of the women, protecting her from Ophelia's view. The woman grabbed the child into her arms and back up. The others now surrounded the woman. Ophelia's expression didn't initially change. "You have some business here?" One of the other man asked boldly, looking arrogant and uncontrolled. His bald head covered in bruises, scars and old blood, his own and from whoever his opponent had been. He stunk of dirt and blood.
His armour that he was wearing was badly worn and it would provide, in reality, very little protection, though he wore it only to make himself appear tough. Ophelia still didn't answer, though her expression gradually changed to excited to annoyed. The man approached her and placed his hand on her shoulder. "You deaf? I asked you a freaking question, you stupid b***h!" He put force into his action, swinging Ophelia around to face him. He grabbed her by the throat with his other hand, trying to choke her. "s**t's been happening around here lately, we're trying to get answers but no one gives a damn about us lowly dogs. Now talk b***h, what are you doing here? What business you goy wit-" The man wasn't able to finish his sentence due to the fact that the arm that was choking her, while the hand was still around his throat, the forearm was no longer attached to the rest of his body. Blood splattered all over the ground, a few drops hit Ophelia's face. "What the fu-" Again he was cut short. Ophelia had plunged one of the six hands that came from her back into the man's stomach, ripping out most of his entrails. He fell to the ground, quite dead. This made the other men gasp in wonder. Four of them reached for their swords, however, two of the men's throats were soon flying in the air and the other two suddenly had an arm sticking in their face and hand protruding out the back of their heads. Ophelia raised the two men off the ground and threw them into the stalls behind her. People all around were screaming and running frantically. Five men lay dead on the ground now, the larger man and two others were blocking the way to the woman who had entered the house she had been in front of. "Wh-who the hell are you?!" The large man said and he unsheathed his sword, a look of fear lingering in his eyes. "Yes... that look... it's beautiful." Ophelia said softly and she brought up one of the hands covered in blood and took a small taste. "Mmm, how wonderful. This colour, is so beautiful." She seemed to be talking to herself at this point. The entire area was nearly clear of people, only Ophelia and the men remained, with a few brave onlookers that were at a distance. The man's face and body was shaking, as were the other two people beside him. One of the other men also unsheathed his sword, placing it to his side, her charged Ophelia. The other two men watched as one of the bony limbs plunged into his skull and another ripping into his abdomen. She raised him up as well and threw him. "Yes... more, please, give me more of your bodies." Ophelia looked as if she was enjoying herself quite immensely. The other man was about to charge but the larger man stayed him with his hand. "Charging her is suicide you idiot, can't you see that." Ophelia gave out a loud hysterical laugh. "What wisdom coming from a disgusting soul as yourself. You've absolutely nothing to offer me." Her gazed became fixed on the house. "That women however, she's very fascinating. I could smell her spirit all the way from my laboratory. What a lovely scent she has. Wont you let me open her up a bit?" Ophelia laughed again, but suddenly the man's face become frozen with fear, realizing what she was after."What...?" His voice was barely an echo of what it had been before. Ophelia began advancing. The larger man was still frozen. The other man watched and waited, he looked eager. "Boss!" He screamed, which seemed to snap the larger man back into reality. Though Ophelia was already in striking range. "Oh my, it looks like the extent of your fragile lives has ended."
Two of Ophelia's hands came up and struck at them both. The other man received a fatal hit in his stomach, the forced pinned him against the wall. The larger man, however, was clearly more skilled with the sword, and he deflected the hit that would have punctured his throat, though the hand dove straight into his chest. Ophelia picked him off the ground and threw him aside. "Honestly, you could have all just kept living if you would have stayed out of my way, what purpose is there in dying for someone else. Petty sentiments that these people seem to share in common. You're life was already a waste, why fully throw it away for someone." The man lay breathing heavily on the ground, the wound clearly fatal, he was bleeding extensively. "Damn!" He thought to himself, he couldn't protect his wife and child. Ophelia entered the house and before long, he could hear screams and crying. He began to crawl towards the door, a wind began to bring dirt into his face and his vision became even more blurred than it was. Soon Ophelia exited the house with one of her extra limbs carrying his wife high in the air, unconscious and bruised on the cheek. He put his hand up as if to reach for her, though he soon lost the strength to even keep his head up. "Please!!" He yelled in desperation. Ophelia stopped and looked down at him with a curious expression, almost fascinated by his will. "Do-don't take her..." He coughed up a heavy amount of blood. "I'm begging you... please..." His head shaking, he rolled it to the side to view Ophelia. "I...I..." His vision became shaky. "Please..." His voice was going into a whisper, he was losing consciousness fast. Ophelia laughed and began to walk over to him. He lacked any strength to remotely defend himself. He looked back. One of Ophelia's arms stretched down and picked him up. She brought his face to her own. Another of the bony arms plunged through his stomach. "I'm afraid nothing stands in the way of what I want. Die slowly knowing how weak you were." Tears fell from his face and blood poured from his mouth. She threw him back on the ground. "Don't worry, this woman will get a far better life than what she had hear. She'll become the perfect test subject for the 12th Division. At least that is.. until her body can no longer withstand the experiments." Ophelia gave another laugh and walked off. She knew that a district this low would never cause her any problems, which was one of the reason she acted out the way she did in public. Shinigami barely patrolled here, and even if they were to hear of this event, it wouldn't cause her much problems, most of the people had fled away when they saw the men attack her and she struck back. A back story is easy enough to create. As she walked, she strolled past a few of the onlookers that were present, though their heads soon laid by their bodies as one of her bony limbs stretched out and lobbed them off; walking past without even looking at them or stopping. She was headed back now to the 12th division; the woman still unconscious and bruised in her grasp.

 Squad Four Captain: Jisaku Morimoto
Area 60 of West Rukongai. As one might expect, the place is indeed run down, but this place is still...what is the word? Cozy, perhaps. When Jisaku and Gatomaru arrived, the former noticed that people were ducking in their houses at the sight of them. Indeed, the very air was unsettling for some reason. "...Something's not right here."

"Theres only one person that has defeated me, and I worry about her. Ironic .. isnt it?" ~Shingaara~ Shingaara walked on up after following Jisaku where he stood swiveling his ears to and fro and then back untill they both faced forward where he kept trying to sense people's whereabouts here. "Quite ... or it could be us ... if so then who put the fear of shinigami into them" he muttered awaiting the next thing to happen but really wanted to get to Natsuko first if anything. His arms remained in the sleeves infront of him as the feline felt relaxed since he was the thing to fear in this place now, strong, freaky looking, and short, he was the one to keep an eye on if someone bad was here.

Squad Four Captain: Jisaku MorimotoJisaku shook his head for a second. "We should head straight for Sensei's place. We'll get some answers from her." A few minutes later... WHAM! Upon arriving at their destination, Jisaku promptly got a black eye from an old woman with poofy gray hair and an eyepatch. And for some reason, she was gripping a sword in a honey colored sheath. Inside the house, a dog could be heard barking. "Where the hell were you?!""N-Nice to see you too."

"Natsuko" he said calmly with his ears to the side hearing the doggy inside so the feline awaited Jisaku to mingle with his old master..

Natsuko's eye widened when she saw Gatomaru nodded like he didn't have a care in the world. She tightened her grip on her sword. "And you, Gato-chan... What do you have to say for yourself?!" "Sensei, please calm down and tell us what happened." "You want another black eye?!" Jisaku raised his hands defensively when the old woman threatened him. "...Did we do something?" Deciding yelling at them would solve nothing, Natsuko sighed heavily and went in her house. "Come inside. I'll explain everything." Jisaku rubbed his face and looked at Gatomaru. "Now I'm really worried."

"Theres only one person that has defeated me, and I worry about her. Ironic .. isnt it?" ~Shingaara~ Shingaara began to walk in with his ears pointed forward untill she began acting a little funny with her hand on her sword so he put his hand out to the side pulling his claws out. Relaxing he sighed slightly and put his arms back in his sleeves as he let Jisaku deal with Natsuko here, the cat a little weirded out. "You're telling me" he sighed as he got in the doorway with his left ear swiveling off to the side the behind where he turned his head slightly then swung around staring at the gotei in the distance, seeing a little sword of fire in the distance. Eyes wide open, Gato had his mouth open at the level of power that he could see even all the way out here so his arms were out with his body still. A hell butterfly flew from his wrist sleeve and went upto his mouth where he cupped the creature in the shelter of his paws, his claws making bars to the cage as he gently held it. "This is Head Captain Shingaara ... Report! Send response to District 60" demanded Gato sending a message to the Gotei, the feline backing up letting the Butterfly flutter off where he went into the home of Natsuko to see what was wrong with her..

((What was that fire? Was it from Squad One?))
Jisaku had already went inside when the fire struck in the distance. However, he turned around when he noticed Gatomaru talking to a Hell Butterfly. "Did something happen?" "You're damn right something happened," Natsuko said, placing her sword on the table. "A few days ago someone came here, kidnapped some woman and killed quite a few people. As you can imagine, everyone's quite riled up by the incident." "What?!" Jisaku strided up to the table and put his hands down. "Under your watch? Who could've...? Was it an Arrancar? Or was it...?" His mind thought back to Siegfried and his cryptic message. Perhaps one of his people... "It was a Soul Reaper." For a few seconds, Natsuko's home went silent. Jisaku's eyes went wide as he processed this information. "Huh? Wait. Hold on. This is a joke, right?" "From what I heard," Natsuko continued, ignoring that comment, "it was an attractive woman with long black hair and several skeletal arms protruding from her back. She said something about a test subject. Does that sound like anyone you know?"

"Theres only one person that has defeated me, and I worry about her. Ironic .. isnt it?" ~Shingaara~ Shingaara looked to Natsuko where she explained what happened making him stay where he was by the door with it open to get the hell butterfly when it came back. "I wouldnt know who it was but ... sounds like squad 12 ... I should know since they made a few things for me in the past" he said looking to the side with his ears folding to the sides a little before just pointing to the sides when they relaxed. Gato was a little sick of things going on and how he kept having to order repairs on the Seireitei so of course he'd be in a bad mood right about now.

"Yeah, I was thinking that too," Jisaku said, folding his arms again. "I haven't heard of anyone like that though." "So neither of you knew about this?" Natsuko asked. Her one eye leered at Gatomaru. "Hmph. And I honestly thought you were better than Yamamoto. Don't you think you could keep tabs on one single-?" "Don't ever say that!" Jisaku snapped, slamming his hands on the table. "Gato-san's doing his best, working his heart out without a word of thanks from anyone. Don't you think he's just a little bit overworked?!" Natsuko's eye widened. Jisaku had never even tried to stand up to her before. And looking at the feline Soul Reaper, he was right. She could tell just by looking at him. "I'm sorry," Natsuko said. "Everybody's on tenterhooks because of what happened, including me. I was so surprised that I couldn't do anything. What is this world coming to now?" Jisaku went silent after that. "Anyway, you two look like haven't eaten in a while. Lucky for you, I was making some soup before you dropped in."

"Theres only one person that has defeated me, and I worry about her. Ironic .. isnt it?" ~Shingaara~ Shingaara was a little hurt but almost went to the point of either snatching her throat or just standing there being unable to move, just in utter shock of whats happening around him. He went with the second option as he stood there being unable to move even his ear as the cat slowly looked down and to the side to jisaku. "With the world falling appart .. I'd usually look to What would he do ... but even Yamamoto would .. be held a back ... he couldnt even stop the Quincy .. when I survived it ... in some ways I'm stronger than him ... but mentally he defeats us all ... " he said trying to get a report from squad one so the cat remained there awaiting his hell butterfly to return. Shingaara would wait for the food and visit and all but he really had business to conduct with things happening here and in the human world.

All Natsuko needed was the look on Jisaku's face for a solid yes. Natsuko went back and in just a few minutes had two bowls of soup prepared. It was actually more like stew as Jisaku noticed big hunks of beef, potatoes, and carrots in the mix. Jisaku grabbed his spoon and dug in right away. "Mmm. This is really good! Gato-san, you have to try this!"

"Theres only one person that has defeated me, and I worry about her. Ironic .. isnt it?" ~Shingaara~ Shingaara was still waiting for the hell butterfly when his ears swiveled back to jisaku with his food so the cat decided to eat up while things were still going on out here. Turning around he walked upto the other Captain with a little look to the, stew/soup making his nose sniff slightly with his ears pointed forward at full attention. Sitting by Jisaku the cat began to have at it untill a hell butterfly returned to him making him and the others hear what a squad member had to say.
'Squad one was damaged by High level kido, Two Captains reported missing, presumed dead' said the hell butterfly with a rather young tone to whoever recorded this. Gato looked to the side as the butterfly went back into his sleeve so he turned and looked to the gotei where he sighed slightly. "Besides infiltrating the Gotei and once again destroying my squad area ... The loss of a captain is always a tragedy " he said slightly. "Might as well let my squad repair things ... I enacted a repair protocol to help leave a legacy of sorts when I'm gone ... premade walls .. ceilings and floors .. when a building is destroyed these premade buildings can simply be put together like puzzle pieces making repairs finish in half the time ... like it?" asked Gato with a sudden smile with his eyes cheery since it was a rather brilliant idea since buildings regularly got totaled in the gotei..

Jisaku briefly turned when he noticed the Hell Butterfly return. When he heard the message, he spat out whatever he had in his mouth. "What?!" "That would be a brilliant idea in theory," Natsuko said, already preparing something else behind the counter, "but I'm assuming these premade walls and things are made of somewhat flimsier materials." "You guys are way too calm about this." "Stressing out over every little thing won't make it better." "Maybe not, but I need to head back anyway." Jisaku put the bowl to his mouth and downed the rest of the broth. "Hirase-san was right. This was no time for time off." "Let me know when you marry that girl and give me some grandkids!" That last comment caused Jisaku to smack face first into the door. Deciding not to even respond to that, he opened up the door and walked out before flash-stepping back towards the Seireitei.
((Jisaku exit))
"Well, that's a shame," Natsuko said, placing a nice neat bento box on the table. "I wish he at least stayed long enough for me to give him this."
