I've never had a relationship with a female that was anything but a friendship. But I want to try to go further than that, I just don't know where to start. I don't want to get part of the way into something serious and realize that it's not for me. I'd feel bad putting anyone through that.. But I don't just want casual lesbian sex either :/
What do I do?

What do I do? Aren't you in love with that person ? Did you confess ? Does she love you too ? I think you should date, it's when people date that they can get closer in relationship and build a more serious relationship. I don't know why you feel hesitant ... Maybe you are not so ''in love''. Maybe there are stuff that you don't like about her...

do you know anyone who might also feel a bit confused or wanting to just attempt a lesbian relationship like yourself? maybe you two could agree to try it out together.
or if you meet someone that you could see yourself dating, make it clear from the beginning that you are not completely sure of your feelings or how you are going to feel if the relationship becomes serious.
if anything happens let us know 3nodding

i feel your pain with crushing on straight girls, i'm bi and most of the girls i've liked weren't interested in girls or were already dating
if you aren't sure about actually having a relationship with another girl then just wait and see. if you never find a girl you like and want to date who also likes girls and likes you, then don't fret about it. as for not sure how to go about it, do the same thing as if you were looking for a guy to date. start talking, hanging out, seeing if you're interested and go from there. if you're worried about it going far and then finding out you aren't interested in them, let them know ahead of time. tell them that you've never dated a girl before and aren't sure about how it'll go, hopefully the girl will understand(a lot of the ones i've met and seen date are so that's encouraging).
i haven't dated before myself yet so my advice might not be the greatest out there but i do hope it helps some

oh yay, i'm not alone! *hugs* aren't they though? all of my friends don't seem to get it, they just say "ask them out" like there's nothing to it. it comes easy for them, i clam up, blush, and change the subject as fast as humanly possible T.T

He's a guy anyway, and right now I don't want a guy :/
My relationships with guys always lack something, especially after that "honeymoon" period a few months in.
I just want someone who will be caring and considerate, soft and passionate, and have good hygiene ( stare boys suck at this). I want someone to be my friend before my lover and not be like "I have a BONERRRR, whatcha gonna do about it?"
So I figured that I'd act on the thoughts I've been having for awhile and try dating a female...

-end rant- sweatdrop i think a number of people have issues with the first few months and once it isn't that giddy kind of love anymroe people think they aren't in love anymore and leave. that's what i saw all the time in high school anyways. and don't worry about the rant, i give out pretty long ones at times and have sat and listened to them for a couple of hours before XD
