About the Cutie Mark Crusaders:
Ponyweavers aren't born with their special 'cutie marks' - the picture on their rump. It grows in when their adult coat comes in, but legend says the mark they will get will be influenced by some great deed or special talent they have.

These three 'blank flanks' are hoping to influence what their cutie mark will be. Help them out!

How to Play:
Design a cutie mark for one of these babies, and tell me the story of how they got it! Use your imagination, but make sure it fits the Featherweaver setting.

You can draw your cutie mark, or describe it, though having some visual references would be great!

You can enter for all three in seperate posts but you can only win once!

Which Crusader? Sweetie Belle (Featherweaver name: Sweetie Belle Heartsong)
Cutie Mark: User Image
( I like her official G3 Cutie mark personally so I drew it since it was easier that just linking a super tiny toy image. Though I'll link the toy image too.)
Story:
A new talent show was coming up and Sweetie Bell was nervous, This would be the first time she would join the talent show alone.

The rule stated that you could only show a talent of your own and have no help.

She was hoping her friend weren't as nervous as she was and showed a brave smile as she watched Scootaloo and Apple Blossom both show off their amazing talents. The crowd cheered for each and every entry, this just added to the stage fright a bit.

Taking a deep breath her name was called and her Cutie Mark Crusader Pals both cheered her on.

One paw after another she made her way to the center of the circle. Her heart pounded as the starring eyes waiting to see what she'd come up with.Obviously seeing her shake a bit with fear, hoping she wouldn't look like a fool.

Once the crowd hushed she opened her mouth, a heart warming some came out, as the crowd gasped with amazement on how beautiful her voice was.

Once her song was finished she smiled, then got a bit worried, The crowd was so silent, was her song that horrible?

It wasn't until her friends squealed with joy and jumped her giving her hugs and the sound of the crowd cheering that she found out she earned her cutie mark.

It seemed her songs were powerful enough to move the hearts of others.

Gaia Username: Nymphalidae
Which Crusader? Apple Bloom (Featherweaver name: Calville Applebloom, might change her last name depending on the winners of Applejack and Big Mac, if they want to be related!)
Cutie Mark: A red apple with a few white apple tree flowers and green leaves. [example!] [example 2!] Not realistic like those though, more cartoony to match the MLP style!
Story: At first, like most little sisters with older siblings to look up to, Calville just wanted to be like her big sister. She wanted to be good at trading the delicious, juicy apples that grew in their tree for other goods, getting the best deals, she wanted to be able to come up with clever ideas on new ways to sell their apples to make them more appealing.

But when she tried, she always came off a little... too enthusiastic, to put it mildy, and most of the other weavers felt a little too pressured and put off by the way she attempted to get them to trade with her for apples. They'd always turn her down politely, of course, because who would be mean to a kit just typing to sell them apples? But Calville could see well enough that it wasn't what she was good at. Her big sister encouraged her to keep trying new things, so she wasn't ready to give up yet.

Next, of course, she tried to be like her big brother. She tried pulling the large leaves with apples piled up on them, but they were just too heavy, especially for such a tiny kit. She shook the branches on the apple tree, trying to knock the apples from their hold, but not even a twig came loose, and Calville felt defeated. How was she ever going to find out what her talent was now? She couldn't trade and she couldn't gather -- she couldn't do anything!

Her big sister, of course, rolled her eyes and said she was just exaggerating. Those two things weren't the only talents a little featherweaver could have. "You don't need to try to be like someone else," her big sister had said, as she piled up the freshly picked apples, ready to to open up shop to start trading. "You've got to find your own talent." Calville scrunched up her nose at that, watching her sister stack the apples up into boring, plain piles. Her presentations had always been so much nicer. "I still think I could trade 'em, sis," Calville whined with a pout, not understanding why it hadn't worked out. "Lots of 'weavers said my apples looked pretty." And her sister smiled indulgently, knowing her sister needed some cheering up, said, "well, why don't you help me today?"

And so Calville did; her sister asked her to show her exactly what she'd done, and Calville arranged the apples with apple blossoms, a mix of the white and pale pink flowers with the green leaves bringing out the vibrant colors of the apples, all arranged in decorative ways to appeal to the eye. And sure enough, the beautiful arrangements caught the eye of many a 'weaver that passed by that day, trading their jewelry, berries, and other herbs for their apples, complimenting the pair of sisters on the displays.

And by the end of the day, when all the apples were gone and they'd collected the supplies they'd needed, her big sister looked down at her with a knowing grin. "So, did'ja think of what your talent could be? We traded all the apples today!"

But Calville rolled her eyes and sighed. "Yeah, 'cause of you," she grumbled, and her sister laughed and nuzzled her cheek. "Maybe some," her sister admitted, "but it wasn't all 'cause of me. You got a real eye for detail, you know, makin' all those arrangements with the flowers and plants. Except when it comes to your feathers," she teased, eyes twinkling with laughter, and Calville huffed in irritation and turned her head to look at her tiny tailfeathers -- only to find she wasn't exactly a blank flank anymore. "Hey!" she cried in delight and looked up at her sister, all but beaming. She hadn't known why she didn't see it before; she had been much happier at all the compliments on her work on the displays than she had been on the rare time she managed to make a trade. And that was alright by her -- maybe her talent wasn't like her brother's or sister's, but between the three of them, no one would be able to resist their apples.

((I know this is different from her talent on the show, hope that's okay!))
