Ayumi had arrived in Kyoto, seeing how busy and crowded it was. It was different from the small village back home. She walked around, asking people if they knew of or have seen Koudou Yukimura. They all were shaking their heads no. It had quickly become dark, knowing that she'll need to stay at an inn for a night. Then she saw as some guy pretending to be 'samurai' came up to her. "What's a kid like you doing with a sword? Give that and all your money to us samurai so we can keep protecting you." the guys said to her. She shook her head no, pulling out her sword and ready to fight. "No way! You're not real samurai at all!" Ayumi said back to them. The guys got mad as they tried to attack her with their swords out. She managed to dodge, thinking that she can't handle this many. So she sheathed her sword and quickly ran away, hiding in an alley as she hoped that they would pass by and leave.

Sujin crouched low on a rooftop before he pushed off, somersaulting to land in a crouch, the tsuba of his katana clinking softly as he shifted the staff over his shoulder. The staff itself was handcarved wood around an steel core. "Do you mind pulling your heads out of your asses and realize you bullies make 'samurai' look more childish than your egos do," he said sarcastically. His katana was wrapped in dark red and gold rope with a black tsukakashira on the end of the hilt while the sheath was a deep black with dark silver kanji [雷の渦] on the side.
His hakama pants were a deep steel gray while the kimono and hakusho jacket were crimson and black respectively. There were also kanji [えあ] on the back of his hakusho in gold.

Ayumi was shocked, seeing the stranger somersault off the rooftop, hearing what he said to those guys. They had heard the strange guy, really mad. "That's it!" they had yelled as they charged to attack the guy with their katanas. Ayumi saw this, worried about him.

Sujin shifted his weight, deflecting the first katana with the sheath of his own katana before lightly leaning aside to evade the next one as he 'lightly' rapped the sheath against the ribs of the weilder, just hard enough to knock the wind from his lungs. He crouched momentarily, flicking the staff behind him to take the legs out from under the duo behind him even as their katanas swept over his head as he shifted subtly, his sandaled foot flicking up and swatting the guy who had insulted the other kid squarely across the face. "Please quit embarrassing yourselves. Four on one is irritating enough, though your skill levels aren't much better than a novice with a blind eye," he said wryly, his tone deliberately taunting.

Ayumi was shocked and stunned, watching as the guy was deflecting and avoiding the katanas, beating the guys beat and hearing him. They heard the guy, very surprised too that they were being beaten by this strange guy. "You'll regret this." they said, managing to get back up as they ran off. Ayumi sighed in relief, glad those men were gone now. "Thank you for helping me." she had then said to the guy.

Sujin smiled faintly, his pale sky blue eyes to the untrained eye appearing blind. "No problem, they underestimated me and didn't know that the style I was trained in is specifically tailored to multiple opponents in most situations," he said with amusement. "Besides, when I do draw my blade, blood usually ends up following and I try not to kill more than necessary even though if one were to try the Konuzu style and not know what they're doing they could end up seriously harming themselves or worse," he said coolly. He knew he seemed blind, but was able to see just fine, and the distraction often proved very useful in deterring fights usually.

Ayumi had heard Sujin, very surprised. It looks like he is blind, but he can really fight. "Alright, but thank you again." she said back to him, then remembering that she should ask about her uncle. "By any chance, have you seen a man named Koudou Yukimura?" Ayumi had asked the guy, describing what Koudou looked like.

Amaya524 To know where they are specifically, pull up Mapquest and enter 'Kyoto' Sujin shifted his weight fractionally, sheathing the staff over his shoulder. "I've heard the name, but I've not seen him myself. I do know that someone matching that description was seen near ther Kita Ward to the northwest, across the bay," he said quietly as he shifted his weight, knowing they were in the small harbor town of Tsu just outside of the main city of Kyoto.

Ayumi was surprised and glad, hearing that this guy say her uncle was near the Kita Ward. But it's too late at night to go on a boat right now, she'll have to stay here for the night and sleep before going in the morning. "Alright, I'll have go in the morning then. I don't know when or if I will ever see you again, so thank you for all the help." she had then said back to him, bowing.

Sujin shrugged. "You can stay with me; I have a clean warm bed, and if you wander the streets, you'll likely run into those dickless morons again... or end up sick," he said wryly, glancing up to the west where stormclouds were rolling in. He shifted his weight slightly as his gaze scanned around warily.

Ayumi was surprised, hearing that she could stay with him. "Really? That would be great, thank you." she said back to him, nodding. She noticed the storm clouds too, guessing that they should get inside soon. Ayumi was a little worried, staying with this guy for the night and making sure that she was not exposed as a girl.

Sujin shifted his weight before he started loping up the street, away from the harbor. "It's not far to my place; there you can clean up and rest. As for me... I have a few things to take care of," he said with a shrug.
