I was told that girls like me don't become gym leaders, because I was poor and unable to get pokemon from anywhere. You see my parents were in great debt to a gang that plagued our home town. Finally the gang was in fact defeated, but not without leaving my family the worse for wear. Still I never stopped dreaming. I would become a strong trainer. We later moved to Phior, a region that was only just starting bloom. That was when I was 16. We moved to a small town called Adell, that was home of a pokemon school. I tried to get in, but I couldn't, I needed a pokemon before I could become a student. I was crushed. Was my dream going to end here?
At the end of the summer, just before the school year was to begin I found my first pokemon. It was a Snivy. The poor thing was being attacked by student who had come early. I could not stand it. Somehow I got them away from the poor pokemon and it became my partner. I was then able to start school. Though I already had a reputation for bully. How was I a bully? I just protected a poor innocent pokemon. After one year at the school I left, disheartened. This school was not for me. So I started traveling around Phior. Sadly I almost let myself fall into the darkness, but I was saved. I found a group of people who I trusted and they trusted me. I learned to become a stronger, better person with their help.  Name: Solara Rays Age: 24 Height: 5'7" Weight: 155lbs Gender: Female Home town: SunnyShore Bio: Solara was born into a family of no significant wealth or poverty. She lived in a comfortable middle class life, and Sunnyshore was no longer a broken city. When she was nine years old, she got a small slowpoke for her birthday. A special gift from her parents. Slowpoke were famous for slow growth and low maintenance, a perfect first pokemon for a little girl. But after a year and a half, Solara discovered something amazing: She could share her thoughts with slowpoke. Though, she kept it a secret from her parents, not wanting them to think it was her imagination or that their daughter was strange. But she'd grown closer and closer to her pokemon from that point on, and could always confide in it. Slowpoke was always thinking, and grew wise with patience. More often than not, it had a solution for Solara's troubles. A bit older, and more sure of herself, her parents left to get groceries while Solara stayed home with slowpoke to play and train. It was almost routine. Except this time, she'd never see her parents again. There was a robbery in a near bank, and her parents were mugged and killed on their way home. The last words she said still echo See you soon. She never got a chance to tell her parents that she loved them, one last time, or how much they meant to her. She wished so many times to just go back and say those things every day to them, and be sure that they knew. She was only twelve years old. After crying and suffering a few years after that day, in the care of her aunt, Solara decided to never let this happen to anyone ever again. She would study to become part of the police force--someone who could prevent such tragedies. But the road was long and harsh. No one cared that her heart was in the right place, or that she wasn't there for revenge. All they saw was a little girl who wanted to get back at the punks who killed her parents. And that meant she would likely be denied to go out on the field in the police force or as an investigator. When she had heard someone calling out for Team Dawn applicants and their cause, she signed up and never looked back.  Name: Ramses Ishaad Age: 38 Height: 6'4" Weight: 198lbs Gender: Male Home town: Ecruteke City Bio: Ramses was a kind and happy child, taking that personality with him on the road to become a pokemon trainer. He wasn't extraordinary in his training or battling skills, and was more than happy to take advice or share a lunch. He was perfectly content to be normal and train his pokemon. So how did he end up in Team Dawn? The answer lays in one of his journeys to the Unova region. There, he encountered trainers on a whole new level of cruelty. The way they treated their poor pokemon, it burned in him a passion to try and stop them and protect the pokemon! The deeper he delved into the region, the more he became enraged with how some trainers disregarded their pokemon's well being or tossed them aside entirely. The last straw was drawn when he found some sort of experimenting going on with pokemon, and the police did nothing. He swore never to aid in Unova affairs because of the cruel manner that most trainers showed him. But coming home was no better. Team Rocket had begun to churn the waters again, and abused their pokemon while trying to steal others. His umbreon was among the ones stolen. He wanted justice! But every turn was a dead end. He wanted justice for all pokemon, and looked for anyone who would help support his cause. It must have been years, but he finally came to the Phior region and heard of a group of people wanting to bring justice and light to the world. Walk always in the light, or we will drag you to it. That was the sort of thing he liked, and signed up at the age of 22. Name: Takumoto Yamamoto Age: 22 Height: 6"1' Weight: 150 lbs Gender: male Home town: Bio: Taku was born to a family with a long warrior lineage. With the males in charge of the protection of the people and, more importantly to them, their family and the females in charge of archiving all possible obtainable records, the family does what it can to keep people safe, doing whatever it takes to keep people alive. Taku is the first born of the current generation, having a younger brother and two younger twin sisters. Taku left at about the age of fifteen to begin his own travels, leaving only with a single Froakie. As he and the pokemon grew, they befriended a Ralts and Riolu along the way, not really bothering to take any more pokemon than that into the team. However, as he traveled, attacks had recently become more and more frequent from Team Dusk. It was only when Team Dawn intervened a few years ago that he decided to join, going through a year of a rite of passage of sorts to join. While he doesn't agree with some methods of Team Dawn, he does have a great desire to stop Team Dusk. Like causes, and all. If he travels with any comrades, he would personally beat them if they harm innocents by any other means than non-lethal incapacitation. Thus, his preferred method for keeping people out of his way and capturing targets is typically a grenade employing Sleep Powder or even tranquilizer darts, though he does keep his own firearms for any Team Dusk members he would need to stop.
