So I've just started writing a new story and I can't come up with a good name for one of the main characters any ideas? The story is taking place in a realm I am creating and the main character a badass chic has a weird name so weird names are okay! The character is a guy and is a prince, I hope this little bit of info will help. Any ideas will be appreciated, so thanks!

It takes me a long time to find the perfect name, so I use a random name until I can find one that fits. This site is where I get 99% of my names.

Well, what I do is a little weird.
1) Ask someone for a random letter. Let's say B. 2) Go to Google and type in "Baby names starting with B" the first website is the one you want, it should be called www.babynames.com 3) Pick a gender, in this case a boy. 4) Go through the names and pick several that you like the sound of, but also look at the meaning of the names.
I pick names based on sound and meanings. The name's got to flow, and the meaning has to relate to the character. At least, this is what I do, and the names turn out working.
I hope this works out just fine for you. Tell me if it helps! biggrin

When I have trouble with names I go to babynames.com and look up a name that means something like a trait of the character or something along those lines. Like my main character is a soldier and her name is Kella which means warrior.
