Kaltolya was raised in a small impoverished household on the outskirts of Moscow. Despite their impoverished state, they (Kaltolya and his family) were proud. They stood tall despite their lack of resources. When Kaltolya was seven, he fired his first gun. Consequentially, he also killed his first rabbit. Following this, his father taught him how to shoot, but more importantly, when and why to shoot. He has always kept his father's instilled morals very close to his heart, even after joining a mercenary group to fund his still quite poor family at the age of nineteen. He was selected to be a sniper due to his amazing accuracy, and the fact he already had a sniper rifle: His father's VSS Vintorez, which was given to him as a gift.
The current war is good for business, but the pointless death isn't good for anyone in his eyes.
