【☾】Camp Evermore, I know, I know just another summer camp, right, wrong! Do you think the police would have dragged you out of bed in the middle of the night to bring you here if it was just ANOTHER summer camp? I did not think so!
Ahem, sorry, as I was saying, Camp Evermore is not your everyday, run of the mill, summer camp. In truth, it is not a summer camp at all, but a life camp. Okay, no, we do not force you to stay here for the rest of your life, just until you are twenty-two, or earlier if we deem you ready, but normally, most people choose to stay until twenty-two when we really do not need you anymore. What we need you for, well, to keep you safe and to make sure your powers develop correctly.
What do you mean you do not have powers! Oh, right, they have not developed yet…guess I should have warned you about that one. Okay, so, you will have powers, and that is why the police dragged you out of bed in the middle of the night to bring you here, to Camp Evermore. We want to protect you while your powers develop, and really, it is easier to keep a watch on you if you are here. It is like a school, except there is better food, you get to sleep in cabins, and classes are optional, though the bonfire at night is not. Singing at said bonfire, like classes, is optional, but the bonfire itself, is not. Another not optional thing, Power Training, everyone attends, it takes place in the Power Training Room, much like in the X-Men, yeah, yeah, make your jokes, until the kid with Gambit’s powers takes your head off, or I do it, but I would be doing it just for fun, kidding, kidding, maybe.
Moving on, some people will be exempt from power training, that is, those of us who are twenty to twenty-one and can use our powers. Sad thing is they talked us into becoming tutors and teachers for those of you who do not know how to use your powers. Thus, we really are not exempt, we just get different punishment, and yes, I said punishment. Thing is, Powers Training is a punishment you get whether you are bad or not, it just gets worse if you are bad and abuse your powers. I found out, the hard way, that making a gun out of forks and using it to have a battle with the kid aforementioned, yeah, the one with Gambit’s powers, results in extreme training that you feel for weeks afterwards.
Oh, and do not even think that you can use your powers to get out of the Bonfire, both Gambit, Raven, and I tried, it didn’t work, though I have to admit, raven had the better shot than the rest of us, she still got caught. Trying to skip bonfire is, while possible, extremely hard, and I do not recommend doing so, just do not do it, save yourself, and us older ones the hassle.
Well, I think that is it, so, have fun, and remember, using powers for fun is one thing, using powers for destruction, while it can be fun, is another, and often leads to trouble.

 【☾】Camp Rules and Regulations
1.The Bonfire The bonfire is a mandatory assembly, held every night from 9:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Any campers caught not attending the bonfire may find their privileges taken for the week. These privileges include, but are not limited to; use of items during activity and free time periods, in cabin food privileges, use of the camp wifi, and use of powers when not in Power Training. 2.Power Training Power training is the most important hour at camp, even more important than the bonfire. It is held from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM and may not be missed by anyone. All campers and staff are to attend, unless sick, and cleared with the Head Councilor before hand. Power Training is led by the staff of Camp Evermore and depending on a camper's behavior, both in Power Training and in and around camp, depends on the difficulty of their routine, as determined by the staff member assigned to them. 3.Punishment For Skipping The Bonfire or Power Training Any camper caught skipping the bonfire or power training will be put on probation, meaning they will be monitored by the staff member assigned to them for power training during the hours before power training and the bonfire, as well as during these things for two weeks, if it their first infraction. Should it be a second infraction, it will be lengthened to a month, a third infraction with be three months, and a fourth infraction will be six months. If the problem continues to happen, then the camper will be put on a yearly watch until they have proven that they can handle arriving and staying, on their own. If they use their powers to skip these things, they will be put on power suspension for as long as they are on probation, only being allowed to use their powers in power training and after the bonfire, should they not have any other infractions that require power suspension. 4.Reasons For Power Suspension A camper may be placed on power suspension for a number of reasons. The first was described above. To recap, a camper found using their powers to skip the bonfire or power training will be put on power suspension for the hours of 8:00 am to 4:00 pm and from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A camper, with no other reasons for power suspension may have their powers for the nighttime hours only. However, should a camper be found using their powers after lights out and it bothers other campers, the privilege of having their powers at night will be taken away. Should that be their only infraction, then they may keep their powers from 8:00 am to 12:00 am. Another reason for power suspension is fighting outside of power training, fighting in power training when not permitted, or general misuse of powers in general. These will land a camper on twenty-three hour power suspension, for as long as three months, only being able to use their powers during power training. 5.How Power Suspension Works Should a camper be placed on power suspension, for any reason at all, a staff member will place a bracelet around the camper's wrist. This bracelet is lined with a material that distorts the aura of the camper in such a fashion that their powers are no longer active. These bracelets may only be removed by Austyn or Remy, but can be placed on by anyone, as such they are kept locked in a secret location that only a few know of. Classes Campers may choose whether they wish to take classes or not. Many of the younger campers are encouraged to continue their schooling, until they reach high school age. If a camper comes in after starting high school, or right before starting high school, then they have the choice whether they wish to take classes or not. For the more advanced students, there is the option to do independent study, where the camper is given the learning materials they will need for each class, and are able to work at their own pace. For the more remedial students, who still wish to continue their education, there is program designed to get them through while allowing them to learn in a way that is best for them. It is a mix of instructed independent study and in class time. (will finish later)

Carmen Monica StevensEverything is not what it seemsCarmen couldn't have been more surprised last night then if her house blew up. Last night, sometime after she had gone to bed, some people showed up, and forced her to go to some sort of camp until she was deemed "old enough" to handle her powers. Please! She had been using them since she was five! Since when had she not learned how to use them? When she got there, Carmen was glad to discover that the bed was comfortable enough. Sure, it wasn't as comfortable as the bed she had at home, but she could change that once she was better rested. It wasn't that hard of a spell, after all. Shortly after Carmen changed out of her clothes and into her pajamas, she got into bed and fell asleep, only to be rudely awoken by the sound of some sort of horn or something. She was so tempted to use her wand and soundproof her surroundings, but she thought better of it. Camps only had one round of these things, after all. It wouldn't be so bad. As soon as it stopped, she could go back to sleep and continue to sleep until noon, her normal thing. But, that thought was put on hold when she heard someone moving around, and she mumbled something along the lines of "Tell them I'm dead." She didn't want to be stuck getting up before noon until there was an emergency... which, even if that was the case, she'd still be grumbling about it.

Katerina Ivanovna PetrovaTell yourself it's easy, and it's true.Katerina had just laid down to head off to sleep when she heard her father exclaiming "В это время ночь? Я собираюсь убить кто бы." She knew immediately that her father was upset. The only time her father ever spoke in Russian anymore was when he was mad. It was a few more moments before she heard her name being yelled up the stairs. Sighing, she put on her robe, and headed down the stairs, figuring that it was some person from school that needed her help solving some sort of local mystery. Boy was she wrong. It was most of the night later that she was finally being released from a car and directed to a cabin. It didn't take long to claim a bed, make it and fall asleep. She could see some girl already asleep, but it didn't matter. They could introduce themselves tomorrow... and then figure why she was even brought here in the first place. Come morning, Katerina was awoken by the sound of a trumpet, or some other horn, followed by an announcement to make their way to breakfast. Sighing, Katerina got out of bed, quickly straightening it up, before getting ready for what she felt would be some regular camping day. It wasn't as if she had ever been to a camp, but she had plenty of friends who had explained what had happened there. When she was done getting ready, Katerina looked over to the other occupied bed, seeing that the girl hadn't really moved. "You should probably be getting ready," she said to her, but she merely got some sort of jumbled words that vaguely sounded as if she was told to tell people she was dead. Sighing, she said, "Suite yourself," she walked out of the cabin, and starting attempting to find her way around. Translations: Father:At this time of night? I'm going to kill whoever is out there.

Hayden Allison KutzkeI just think about them and then I know where they are.Hayden awoke a good half an hour before the morning trumpet. It happened to be one of those rare nights that she had a nightmare of what she had imagined happened the night her mother died. Sure, deep down, she knew it wasn't her fault. But, in her head, she always felt that, had she been looking for her mother before when her father had asked her to do so, her mother might not have died. But, deciding that she couldn't keep letting herself think about this, for it would undoubtedly keep her in an upset mood the whole day, she got out of bed and changed. When she was done, she quickly made her bed, then she slowly slipped out of her cabin. It wasn't as if she was breaking a rule. The rules clearly stated that breakfast and other duties started at eight, but it didn't say anything as to what was to be done before hand. And it wasn't as if she was trying to escape or anything. On the contrary, she loved it at the camp. That was why she never had an issue when the director of the camp came to her and asked her to start helping them find other people. Sure, over the months, there have been the occasional person that disliked the fact that they had been brought. But it was only ever her choice whether she told them it was her that had found them. As Hayden was walking around, an atlas, a notebook, and a pencil in her hand, she looked around, looking for a good place to sit. She liked writing in the morning. No matter what was going on, no matter the stress or nightmares, or even if it was just to do some fiction writing, she always made time for it. It was almost engraving in her morning ritual, and her father made sure that she never ran out of mechanical pencils or notebooks... or envelopes and stamps. She always made sure that she wrote at least once a month... though, it was more often than not once every two weeks. Once she found a spot, not too far from the breakfast hall, she sat down, looking off into the distance. For the first day in weeks, she didn't know what to write.

Elwood had been awake all night, his insomnia keeping him awake, since the past few weeks had been plagued with nightmares. He had wanted to play his violin, but knew that his cabin mates would report him and have it taken from him, so he simply sat in his bed, back to the wall, playing chess on his computer. He won every game, which was no surprise to him, but it did bore him rather quickly, and after a few hours of playing, he began to do his schoolwork, working by the light of his computer, and a flashlight. This continued until about half an hour before the morning trumpet was to go off, when he finally got out of bed, dressed, and, after grabbing his violin case, headed out of the cabin.
As he wandered the camp, looking for a place where he could play his violin without disturbing the other campers, who were still sleeping, he found his friend, Hayden, sitting looking off into the distance. A small, weak smile crossed his face, as he took a position near her, but in just the right spot that he was not in her line of sight. He then opened his violin case and began to play.
The song he began to play was “It’s Time” by Imagine Dragons as covered by Darren Criss. It was actually one of his favorite songs, despite his music style being more rock than anything else. As he played a small smile crept onto his face and he closed his eyes, before he began to sing.
“So this is what you meant When you said that you were spent And now it's time to build from the bottom of the pit Right to the top Don't hold back Packing my bags and giving the academy a rain check...”
He continued to sing as he played, his mind wandering away from the world. He loved the way the sound of his violin and his voice melted together to form one harmonious sound, and how he could play with his eyes closed yet only made a few mistakes. He hoped that his playing would give some inspiration to his friend, because he knew that whenever she looked off into the distance it meant she had no idea what to write about.

Hayden Allison KutzkeI just think about them and then I know where they are.Hayden had been staring off into the distance for probably fifteen minutes before she started to hear a violin and the voice that she immediately knew as Elwood's. She immediately snapped out of what must have looked like one intense daydream and looked around to see where he was. Sure, she could have concentrated and figured it out that way, but that act alone was essentially what had taken it so long for her and Elwood to become friends. And, besides, she didn't really like using it unless she absolutely needed to. After a bit of listening, Hayden decided that she was done trying to write for the moment. She stood up and started walking toward him. She let him finish the song, however, before she sat next to him and said, "I think my journal days are over." She had started the action of keeping a journal more as a way to cope with the loss of her mother and the crazy changes happening in her life than anything. Maybe that meant that she was finally properly healing from the loss of her mother. She had adjusted to her life at this camp, after all, rather quickly. "Maybe that's a good thing, though."
