I was thinking....
There is earth bending
then there's metal bending and sand bending.
Since glass is the super-heated form of sand, wouldn't it be possible to be a glass bender? If so, WOULDN'T THAT BE SO COOL?!

If so, WOULDN'T THAT BE SO COOL?! It would be pretty useful for combat. You could shoot shards of glass at people, or grind it into a fine powder in an instant to blind an enemy. If that stuff gets in their lungs, it'll tear it up like a million tiny razor blades. I learned from Deadliest Warrior that Ninjas put glass powder in hollowed out eggs to stun enemies, which started the myth that they could vanish in a cloud of dust. Glassbenders=Ninjas 0_0 Mind blown...

rofl vader-life summed that up pretty much.
But yes, Glassbending is possible, though I would imagine that it only works for Sandbenders or those people who live in the desert.

metal bending was done by bending the impurities in the earth, and sand bending is just a refined form of earth bending.
I think glass bending would be nearly impossible, due to the fact that there really would be very little(if any at all) impurities in it to bend from. Not only that, but it would be uber godmod haxoring imo.
