What classes are you going to take on for the next 1-2 years? You'll have to do the non-optional ones, of course, (Potions, Charms, Defence Against the Dark Arts) but what else will you do? Care of Magical Creatures? Divination? Muggle Studies? Ancient Runes? Herbology?* Transfiguration?*

*(I'm aware that these are actually core subjects, but I changed it, because Herbology and Transfiguration don't seem vital to me)
5th Years! This year, you will be doing your OWLs in the chosen subjects. If you get what's required, you will be able to continue your study in that subject. If you fail all of your exams, you'll be dropped out of Hogwarts School and will have to fend for yourself when 6th year comes.
