Sibling Names: Brother, Brian Mason

Personality: Jacob is a very calm individual with a friendly demeanor,
and a low, even voice. His calmness is something that he actively
maintains, so he dislikes activities that rile him up. He is rather
open and gregarious, always ready to engage in fun conversation. He is
also very responsible, and he does the extra work to make sure whatever
he does, either alone or with others, goes smoothly so that he doesn't
risk getting stressed out. And he prefers activities that don't
involve high risks or large amounts of energy, although he enjoys
watching others perform such activities.
Bio: Jacob used to be an adrenaline junkie; he lived for anything that
would deliver his much coveted rush. He had a very reckless lifestyle
He loved thrills of any kind, and Pokemon training was just another
avenue for enhancement. He often took risks, not only with himself but
with his friends and family too. He sometimes even ended them up in
the hospital. But to him it was worth it. But, things changed about
ten years ago, when his girlfriend of three years left him. His
recklessness had landed her in the hospital for the fifth time, and she
broke up with him over the phone before she was out. She requested
that he be banned from seeing her, and the hospital staff had agreed.
The break-up was a reality check for him. He took it hard and fell
into a harsh depression, until his brother took him to therapy against
his will. It changed his life forever. His eyes were opened to the
seriousness of his dangerous lifestyle; he realized it was a miracle
that he hadn't killed anyone. So he agreed to change. He knew he
would never get Amy back, but he wanted to keep whoever came next in
his life. He stopped listening to metal; he quite taking drugs, risks,
and thrills; he learned a variety of new skills to control his
impulsivity and temper; he began hiking, practicing meditation, and
training new Pokemon to support his new lifestyle. All this helped him
enjoy a slower paced life.
But after a year, he still craved the rush he used to have so often so
long ago. He realized he needed to throw himself into something
important, and since he had always been fascinated by hospitals, he
decided to become a doctor. After ten years, he was certified and
credentialed. The school was his first real job offer, and he snatched
it up. He found that at the school, he find a reason to not relapse
into his reckless lifestyle; the children and Pokemon depended too much
on him. He also felt that he could live out his desires through the
students that depended on him.
