Please keep in mind the following rules and information while creating your character(s).

Number of Characters
You may have as many characters as you can handle. However if a member of the crew notices you are neglecting one or more of your characters they will give you a warning. If that warning is not heeded and the character(s) remain neglected a member of the crew will ask you to retire said neglected character.

Posting Profiles
Profiles should be posted in this subforum and should follow the profile skeleton in the Profile Skeleton thread. If you have more then one character make one thread and post each character in a separate post. That means each member should have no more then one thread in this subforum, with as many posts as needed.

Filling out a Profile
All the information in the profile skeleton is required, so be sure to fill those parts out. However feel free to add any additional information or decorations as you see fit.

Getting Approved
You do not need to wait for a moderator to approve your profile before joining the rp. However make sure that, if you want any skills/abilities not on the pre-approved list, you get them (the skills/abilities) approved before posting your profile. If a moderator finds something in your profile that needs to be fixed or changed they will let you know.

Variety
We currently have no restrictions on gender, race, alliance, or age. We'd like to keep it that way, however we'd like a reasonably balanced rp world. So if you're going to make more then one character please try to add some variety in by creating characters that are different from each other in at least some of the above categories.

Races
This forum has open races, so feel free to choose any race you would like even if it's not on this list.
This is just a list of some suggestions for people who are having trouble coming up with ideas or variety.

Anthro-Morphs

Anthro-Morph is a generalized term to describe one who has been changed by various means. Whether by magic, curses, birth, ect: These individuals have characteristics of different animals.They are somewhat scorned in the larger cities, but no true prejudice exists in any one land. Their physical and mental characteristics are similar to humans. Their five senses, though, mimic those of the animals they resemble.

Draconic

In ancient times, the best bards will tell you, there was a race of great and powerful dragons that rules the lands. These Dragons, they say, could take the form of humans, siring children with the most powerful of the elven kind. These children could wield the power of dragons and the magic of elves combined. While none of these children have been found, there are a race of reptilian-like creatures that claim the title. They have a firm grip of the magical arts, and their senses are supernatural. Some Draconic's only have a hint of the the dragons they are said to have descended from. Others are covered in scales and spikes, while some can breathe underwater.

Dwarves

Dwarves are strong and hardy, though rarely seen above the surface. Some of the most beautiful jewelry are mined from their expansive underground lairs. When on the surface, Dwarves usually hold jobs as blacksmiths or bankers. They are physically strong, but are unable to use magic.

Elves

Thousands of years ago, the Elves were the dominant race. Their grand cities spanned throughout the great mountain ranges, and hidden cities lay deep in uncharted forests. In the present date, their grandest cities are not but ruins, fueling legends of treasures long lost. Elves are one of the most intelligent species, as well as proficient in most magics. They are graceful and slim in stature, but have physically weak bodies.

Humans

The most numerous, and politically dominant species are Humans. They are not the strongest of the races, but nor are they the weakest. Humans are the most varied of all the species with a large range of characteristics. They are capable of magic, and boast many intellectual feats.

Skills/Abilities
If you want your character to have some sort of skill or ability please choose from the following list or fill out the form to get a new one approved. Certain races do lend themselves to more or different skills and abilities and no one has all of them, so keep that in mind when selecting yours.
God-moding isn't allowed, and a moderator will inform you if you've made an overly powerful character.

Healing Aura --> The user focuses their aura into the palm of their hands, placing it over the affected area. The stronger the caster, the greater injuries they can cure.

Heat Wave --> A large wave of fire blankets the area, setting ablaze anything in its path. Only higher level casters can control this spell. An adept magic user can contain the flames with a shield spell, suffocating the fire.

Shield Spells --> Shield spells come in many different shapes and forms. A shield can be cast around the user or other, in a straight line, or any other form the caster can
imagine. The greater the caster, the bigger the shield. If touched by an organic life form the shield will be broken, yet things like fire, steel, and magics cannot pass through.
