_________PERSONALITY ▪▫ Justin is a very amiable person, but he is slightly paranoid that everyone knows him due to his fame. This paranoia begins to bubble up inside him, to the point where his apartment door can be locked in at least 5 different ways and his windows are bulletproof, and bladeproof. However, if he trusts you, he loves adventure and tends to rush through things without thinking them through. If you stand in his way, you're in for multiple worlds of pain. He holds a soft spot for his sister and will not let anyone look down on her or say negative things about her.
_________BIOGRAPHY ▪▫ Justin Shinjimoto was born in a nice fancy hospital in Tokyo to an American mother and a Japanese father. From early on, he was introduced to both cultures at an equal rate. He now knows how to make American and Japanese food and alternates in between, and will often switch languages during conversation. He was very interested in music when he was younger, learning to play the piano by 7 and the guitar by the age of 10.

When he became 13, his friends decided to make a band, as most rebellious teens did during that year. They had everything they could ever need: A drummer, pianist, guitarist and bassist. They had one major problem though, one that the would jeopardize the band immensely: No one likes to hear just instruments on a stage, they want a singer. Justin decided to take up that role, and was pretty talented at what he did, even if he had to sing while he played the keyboard. This caught the attention of a lot of people, and things were starting to look up for the band: They started playing at gigs, got themselves a manager, and that manager caught them a good deal with a record company. There first album came out a little more than a year later when Justin turned 15. Then things began to fall apart.

On the day his album dropped, he received quite a few phone calls from friends and family, congratulating him on his success. But he was not expecting a call from the local authorities on that day. He rushed to the police station to find his sister crying, blood on her dress, and the police officers looking grim: Someone had come in to the house looking for Justin, his intention to kill him because the perpetrator's girlfriend broke up with him because she loved Justin. Justin may not have been home, but his unfortunate mom and dad were. His sister came home to find the man running away, their parents on the floor covered in their own blood, and a whole surprise party for Justin planned out. He slowly became bitter, and decided to take things into his own hands. He helped the police catch the man and nearly beat him to death before they could put the murderer behind bars. He sold the house, bought a nice condo for two, and drowned himself in music. Then he discovered the NerveGear.

He thought it wasn't all that great until he discovered what it could truly do: Take him to a world filled with hope, a place where he no longer needed to worry about writing a new song, or taking care of his young sister. A place where he was free to be who he wanted to be. He relished in it. Buying himself a beta key for SAO, he became entranced with the world of adventure and decided to lose himself in the game... If only for a short while.
