Planning on doing a kingdom based roleplay, but need at least 2 people on each side, more if there are more than two factions. Each person controls 1 or 2 characters, and may control a NPC squad. Technology is both old (swords, bows, axes, metal armor, magic) and new (shielding, beam guns, rifles, psuedo-magic). Additional details, including the plot, can be discussed here before opening.

All good questions. ^^ Each faction will be determined beforehand, and additional information as to motives and such will be developed during the rp. There is one kindgom that spans across an entire continent full of varied weather. It has both a king and a queen, both of which reside at the capital around the center of the kingdom. However, due to the size, there are more frequently uprisings, most of them quelled peacefully, though more and more, the tension rises. This causes the break into factions. The people have various different religious beliefs, and the government doesn't control that much. There are also various races, such as Featherfolks, Furfolks, Humans, etc.

Feel free to ask anything else. I'd like to answer everything as fully as I can to give people a better idea of how the rp will play out. Feel free to brainstorm ideas with me so we can gradually begin work on the skeletal elements of the rp, and build the actual muscle and meat later on.

When talking about the various technology in these factions, does each faction have a specific type of technology that they specialize in, or is that kind of irrelevant? I mean, maybe each faction could be hoarding a specific type of weaponry (or technology, or magic, or whatever), and the tension caused by this kind of specialization could be tearing apart the structure of the society? Kind of like a Mage vs. Techie vs. Human/non-magic kind of thing? I don't know, just kinda throwing things out there.

And if you're looking for a plot twist (this just occurred to me... hope you don't mind my suggestion), perhaps if you're looking for a reason to bring all the factions together in one place, maybe you should consider a Hunger Games style story? Where factions have to complete certain challenges in order to reach a common goal? Personally I like the thought of a more solid direction when talking about a storyline. (Btw, I'm offically on haitus, although I tend to pop in once in a while to check on things... xD)

I like the idea of a Kingdom-based RP, though. It would be interesting to see how all of this plays out. Oh, and... hi Sya! ^-^

**Both of the following characters are designed to cut down lesser characters (I.e. extras) and to be a huge rival (not the ultimate) for heroes/heroines. thus why they are so over powered. They DO have weaknesses...we just have to figure them out smile


1. She is still kind of a vague idea, however she uses very dark magic, almost to the point where she is a demon, as well as a weapon which she has mastered: pretty much its glove with 3 metal wires coming out of it that are so fine and thing one can barely see them, she can use this weapons to slice through up to five people at once or through medium thick strong medal. she is a sociopath who lives for thrills and loves herself, however she is capable of feelings for those who know how to handle her.

2. This one is actually one I already made a profile for when i used her for another rp, however she can easily be adapted for multiple uses. 2. she does have a catch though, I would need someone to play her male counterpart because I can't do it XD

Personality: Dia is basically a sociopath, with no love for anyone but herself and her precious partner who means the world to her. Before him she just lived to kill and see more blood, however there was something about him that broke something in her mind, and now while they make a great team, he is the only thing about her that is not sadistic, and the only man she'd ever take orders from. If not for him she most likely would have gone rogue and turned on her kingdom by now.

Bio: Pretty much she started out as a brilliant young woman who was skilled in everything she did, she had a powerful father and through a series of experiments (science/magic? Which ever we can use) She lost her humanity and became a sociopathic sadist who was an assassin for her kingdom. When the war began she was assigned to be of aid to Gaius (just a name for now) he was an extremely powerful, high ranking officer in the military and Dia was given to him to be an ultimate weapon as she slowly unraveled and became more and more unruly. However Gaius saw her for a true human and treated her as such like someone might treat a goddess of chaos gently, and soon she wrapped herself around him and wouldn't let go - he became her new country, the only, sole person she would take orders from no matter what they were.

(Originally gaius wasn't evil, he was just fighting for his country, which were the evil ones of the roleplay. btw)

Other: Dia is pretty much the best humanoid fighting machine (Although she is more machine/magic?) than human now. She has mastered hand to hand combat and many different types of weapons.

btw hi I'm ari. I am a semi literate to literate roleplayer (3-4 paragraphs a post) and I use signatures when roleplaying in forums. I NEVER quit roleplays, and if I do (it hasn't happened yet) I'll tell you so we can work a way for my character to LEAVE and not just abandon it. I believei n well rounder characters who get personal plots to develope through the entire story line, and plot development. I think it is jsut as important to round our characters as it is to round out a plot (And vice versa)

yes, if I were to create an inventor character she would be kind of that odd, almost shy (but not quite) genius who is happy just sitting in the background. She is supposed to be super smart but a little off with a bunch of weird hobbies.

and the male I mentioned, for the second option, she needs a male counterpart/partner other wise she has no reason to do anything and she's just a lose cannon with no affiliations XD
