does bass count?
Well, that means you can play the bottom four strings of a guitar... so why not? whee

I can play somewhere between 30-40 BnL songs on guitar. How many does everyone else know how to play?

I can try to count.

Let's see.

I counted sixty-one. I could figure out more if I wanted to...

...not to brag or anything. whee

I can play some guitar... but my learning has really slowed down since my teacher skipped town. -_- I can play 'Melissa' by The Allman Brothers and a couple other things... I can play the chords for 'One Song Glory' from RENT!
No BNL songs, unfortunately. u_u

Last weekend I bought myself a brand new acoustic. It's a Martin DSR-GC. Martins are simply the best!!! (Well, Larirvee is pretty freakin' nice too, but it's hard to find them in the U.S.). ). Anyway, it is rather inspiring!!! All of the songs I knew sound so much better than they did on my other acoustic (an inexpensive Epiphone).

I used to play the guitar every once and awhile but I never really practiced it enough to play more then a few basic songs and some cords. On the other hand I played the cello for seven years, took private lessons and practiced frequently! The cello is cool, right????

The cello is one of those instruments that I'd love to play but can't.

I may be getting a bass soon. Or congas. I can't decide. If I get a bass, it will be a Epiphone Thunderbird or a gorgeous Epiphone semi-hollow bass I saw at the local music shop but can't remember what it was called (ohmygoshIhopeit'sstillthere!). If I get congas, it will probably be this set.

Thoughts?
I'm having a hard time deciding. I was pretty certain I was going to get a bass, but after seeing that last Guster show I'm not too sure.

Don't ask me. I only kind of know how to play the piano (luckily I've forgotten how to play the cursed flute) and I want to learn the sax...cause I'm weird... 3nodding

My piano abilities are pitiful at best. I should get back to practicing it.
I can NOT play the flute. One of my friends tried to teach me once. After maybe half an hour of blowing into the stupid thing, I got a sound out of it. And then I changed my fingering and got the same note. I love the sound of a sax, though I've never tried one yet.

I managed to try out an Epiphone Thunderbird bass today, and it wasn't nearly as top-heavy or big as I thought it would be, so that's good. Of course, it doesn't narrow down my choices. Rats.
