Hello and welcome to the World Building Game! This is a game designed mainly for writers, but there is a drawing component too. At the moment I'm experimenting with this game, if you have suggestions about how it should be run PM me.

Allow me to explain how the game works:
First, I provide a simplistic map of a made up world. Your job is to add detail. To start off with, you will have to copy and edit the map. You can draw over the map, naming things, indicating cities, mountain ranges, country border lines, rivers etc. You can also place a character or race or even animal species somewhere on the map (indicate where they live with a dot or coloured area). If you choose to do the latter, contain in your post a short description or story about your character/race/animal. You may add images. In the next post, another person will build on what you have created and add details of their creation.

These are the rules:
arrow Follow the TOS.
arrow All information added by players can be built on by anyone else. Nothing is solely yours and yours only to write about or draw.
arrow All information added must be accepted by everyone unless it is in violation of the rules. PM me if you think something is violating the rules and I will state whether their entry is acceptable. If their post violates the TOS follow usual procedures.
arrow Everything must be suitable for an age 13+ audience.
arrow No spamming or bumping.
arrow No flaming. If you find a post offensive or in violation of the rules DO NOT argue with them. Report them if appropriate, if not appropriate notify me.
arrow New rules may be added by me at any time.

This game is about developing a world together. It is about cooperation and creativity but most of all it's about having fun! Please, I invite you to join in and - hopefully - enjoy yourself!
