Psalm 46:10

"He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”

When everything around us is trying to get our attention and trying to get us to spend our time worrying about other things, we need to stop and rest in God. We see this again with Mary and Martha. Instead of running around trying to accomplish useless tasks, we need to sit and spend time with the Lord. We need to be willing to turn everything else off, sit in the Lord's presence, and listen to Him and what He has to say.
