2 Thessalonians 5:23-24
"Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it."
Sometimes we look at our situation and we wonder where God is in the whole mess of thins. He's right by your side. He will give you peace and comfort in times of sorrow, and He will guide you when you are lost. God doesn't leave you to fend for yourself, but He holds you in His hand, guiding you so you don't have to be afraid of what life brings.

And even though the biology of our bodies may want one thing, he changes our "innermost being" to desire things opposite of what the flesh wants, and both body and soul fall in line if you live by the Spirit. The "inside man" is what needs to be reborn, because you can fake holiness on the outside, but when it comes from within, all the other parts naturally become sanctified as well and he's capable of doing that. The flesh wants to act out of anger, jealousy, lust, etc... such actions and thoughts are blameworthy, not blameless, and not only do they lead to trouble, but it fails to show the power we have at our disposal. If his followers heed the Spirit and stay on his path, no one can blame us of wrongdoing; there is no law against things done in the Spirit (Gal 5:22-23 (NIV)But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law). All they can blame you for is being too generous, too kind, too self-controlled, etc... as if that's a bad thing.
