About Us
This is the group sent to handle the danger first, and can be thought of as the 'Wildcards' of the Gotei who deal with reconnaissance. Those joining this Squad must be resistant and capable to adapting to the most extreme conditions and still be able to carry out their mission with precision .
This Gotei division has become known as "The Cursed Squad" due to the large misfortune that has befallen here in the past.
Squad 03 is responsible for the act of sending out shinigami to gather information and put together tactical responses based on this intel. As such, they sometimes work in cooperation with their allied division's Squad 02's agents on more serious missions. They are also the ones who sort all outgoing and incoming information before sending them to Squad 12 for storage.
Adding to this, they are in charge of the jigokuchou monitoring and message system.
Shinigami Women's Association Aptitude Test
According to the Shinigami Women's Association aptitude test, those who like pranks and do not want to give-up their "playful side" are best suited for the this division as they will learn how to stay that way from Captain Yamato, who works hard and plays hard. The Association also assures recruits that while you cannot tell what Captain Yamato is thinking, he is well liked by his subordinates.
