Anna opened the door and peeked in, ready to call Ratchet's name. There was a small yell from inside the room and the girl suddenly jumped back as a fork came flying out imbedding itself into the opposite wall in the hallway. This made Anna yelp in surprise, glad she got out of the way in time. Another roar came and a one and a half foot tall metal guy ran out with a tiny bucket on his head, brandishing a fork. He then proceeded to jab everyone in the ankles with it.

"HOW DARE YOU ROBONAP ME YOU SOUNDRLES!" he yelled in a Jersey accent. "Think I'm a useless tin can, do you!? Take that! And that! Ah-ha!"

Not wanting everyone to bleed out their ankles, Anna reached down and picked him up from behind. The robot struggled in her grip until she spoke, "Ratchet, it's me!"

He turned his little slender head towards her, the helf-moon eyes spun from a look of anger to delight. "Oh! Why didn't you say so. I didn't know what happened. One minute I was in your room, the next a black-hole swallowed me up and then I was in someplace strange."

She set him back down, now sure he wouldn't stab anyone again. He looked at the giants around him, first at Grace, then at Zev. Suddenly he thrust his chest out at the tall man.

"YOU!" He roared again, stabbing his fork into the ground and taking a boxer's fighting pose, bouncing on his heels. "Are you responsible!? If so, I challenge you to a fight to the death! I can take you, you Soundle! Come on! Be a man and fight me!" he raised his fists.

Anna's head hung low, her face bright red. She wasn't sure if she was embarassed or ashamed of Ratchet's behavior. "I'm terribly sorry for this. He's usually well behaved."

And then Ratchet saw Anime. His posture suddenly changed from a knight ready to fight to the death to some suave, smooth-talker. Well, in his mind it did. He leaned on the fork and wiggled two metal wires that made for eyebrows. "Why hello there,Toots. Is it hot in here or is it just you?"

Anna's cheeks turned even redder. Where he had learned such a line was beyond her. Maybe it was in his chip?

Zev had barely stepped into the room when a fork cut through the air to end up stabbed in the hallway door. The man's black eyes stared at the fork for a couple long seconds, as if trying to figure out what was going on. A sharp pain on his ankle - "Ow!" - made him look down, only to see a little metal... humanoid thing, a bit over a foot tall yelling at them in, strangely, an accent Zev recognized from the human world but couldn't quite place. Anna and the little man - Ratchet, apparently - argued a bit and Zev couldn't repress an amused snort. He had been expecting a metal piece with a clipped voice and inexpressive face, maybe not even that. But definitely never an ankle-stabbing, fork-wielding, one and a half foot man with a strong human accent and definitely much more life than Zev had seen in anything non-living (and some living too).

Ratched tried to pick a fight with him - hilarious, really, considering Zev was over 5 times talles - but before he could say anything, the metal man turned to Anime and... "God, was he flirting with her?" Yes, yes. That was definitely it. Ratchet's posture had changed and the voice in which he had spoken the truly awful pick-up line was much softer. And that was it. That was way too much. Zev's eyes went from the robot to the girl as he tried to hide - badly - his quiet snickers by placing a hand over his mouth.

Anime heard a snicker. An honest-to-Almighty snicker from Zev. She smiled wide, pointing at him as if she had just discovered land. "There! Finally an actual reaction!" She considered it score 1 for her, even if it technically was Ratchet who made it happen. So the score was tied between them now.

She put her hand down and put her hands on her hips, an eyebrow raised at Zev. "Good to see you can lighten up a little, booksprite." Anime looked at poor tired Grace and knew this meeting with the little robot couldn't last all night,but it was interesting for sure. "Don't worry Grace, he won't hurt you. He'd be bolts and scraps if he tried, trust me." She said, giving Grace a wink. Ah... Anime figured Ren would be best to explain to Grace, since Anime just knew that he was a little robot she made that ran on power.

"I'm sorry ! I'm sorry!" she squeeled peeking out from behind Anime still freaking out. It was like a metal man and she couldn't understand it. " I'm sorry sir" she said again wanting nothing more now then to run to her own room, but Anime kept her there. She wouldn't leaveAnime to fend for herself even if she was horrible at standing up for herself.

Zev rolled his eyes and made a face at her, though he was clearly more amused than anything else. "I do have feelings other than anger, it's not my fault you didn't get to see them" he said, the tone lighthearted and not really accusing. He held up his hands as in surrender when Ratchet yelled at him once again, the amused smile still on his place.

Ratchet, apparently more calm now, turned to the other two girls. Zev for his part walked up to Anna, placing a comforting arm on her shoulder. "It's fine, relax" he said softly. He looked back at the robot, talking grandiosely towards the girls. "He's rather funny" Zev chuckled.

Anime perked up a little, but this obviously wasn't a time for this conversation. Anime had before given Zev a wrinkled nose and a smirk at his expression, not angry or threatening, just the same type of impression. "Ah, I guess goodnight then, Ren. Sleep well." Anime looked down at ratchet and wrinkled her nose a little. She led Grace out and said to her, "Well, I guess now is a good time to get you to bed, Grace.

Zev was examining Ratchet, so he barely noticed when Anime and the other girl ("God'ssake, what was her name?"). He realized it about a minute later, after not hearing Anime's voice for a while. His eyes scanned the room and he only spotted Anne and her robot. "Oh!" he exclaimed a bit dumbly, fidgeting on his spot a bit. "I'm sorry. Guess I missed my cue to leave. 'Night" He gave her a lopsided smile and and a nod and headed out, fixing his bag on his shoulder.
