Raventcrest Manor is old, beautiful, and elegant. It's been in the Barragan family for generations and is situated on a twenty acre plot of land, the largest in the suburban area. The driveway is long and winding and on the back of the property, backing up into the large stone wall that surrounds the manor, is a sizeable creek with clear water and a sandy floor. Trees and flowers grow everywhere. Wild berries are ripe in summer and fruit trees blossom in fall.
The house itself is grand. The outside has been changed often and currently it's in the old french style, with stone scrollwork around the windows, weathered green copper balconies, and gargoyles perched atop the green copper roof. It's a peaceful place to take refuge from the human threat.

The Human Consulate is very cold and sterile. Inside is nothing but white washed walls and cold tile flooring. Outside is plain and gray, only a few windows allowing in sunlight. The building is situated in the heart of the city, one of the few places untouched by the fighting or crime that has broken out.
It's a large building, taking up an entire square block of the city. There are 3 floors, one of them an underground basement few ever see. People constantly come and go here, finding refuge from the magic user plague.
