The inhabitants of this world all strive for perfection. Whether it is to make bread or to grow a garden; no matter what anyone set their mind to, they strive for the best. The world has green lush valleys, snow-peaked mountaintops, flourishing forests and clear oceans where life thrives. Everything here is green, including the vehicles the inhabitants use whether to travel in the air, land, or sea. There is no pollution and barely war. It's pretty peaceful in this world. There are arguments and most of the residents don't get along but, there haven't been any reports of murder and the like in this world. If anyone dies, it's from natural causes. There are healthy rivalries amongst those with the same interests and hobbies and tons of competitions to compete in, no matter what it's about. This world is diverse as it is beautiful. Creatures from legends such as demons, angels, mermaids, and other beings live alonside humans in this place. It is truly a paradise but, remember, not everyone gets along. Also since eveything is green here, inhabitants of Pertopia have longer lifespans than most because of their healthy lifestyle. Relationships with Anemone are always complicated, a series of extremes, and she can even be downright moody for no apparent reason. Anemone is known for her possessiveness and jealousy but on the other hand, she is extremely loyal. Anemone has an excellent memory and combined with an inability to let things go, she can hold a grudge against someone who did her harm forever, in fact she rarely if never forgives and forgets. She will even go as far as get vengeance on the person. On the other hand, she will always remember a kind gesture forever and repay it. Any kind selfless gesture done to Anemone will gain trust and respect which is extremely important to her in any relationship, either romantic or not.
Anemone is a very deep, intense woman; there is always more than meets the eye. She presents a cool, detached and unemotional air to the world yet lying underneath is tremendous power, extreme strength, intense passion and a strong will and a persistent drive. She has a very penetrative mind, do not be surprised if she ask questions, she is trying to delve deeper and figure things out and survey the situation. Anemone always want to know why, where and any other possible detail she can possibly know. Anemone is very weary of the games that other people try to play and she is very aware of it. Anemone tends to dominate and control anyone that lets her, or anyone that she finds weak. The person that Anemone respects and holds close to her is treated with amazing kindness, loyalty and generosity.
On the outside, Anemone has great secretiveness and mystery. This magnetically draws people to her. She is known to be controlling and too ambitious but only because she needs control for this makes her feel safe. She is all about intensity and contradictions. She likes to be aware of a situation and always know what’s going on, figuring this out with her probing mind; on the other hand, she is interested in the occult, the paranormal, conspiracy theories and other types of similar unknown mysteries. Anemone is very capable of hiding her true feelings and motivations; she is often having ulterior motives or a hidden agenda.
Anemone is all about control, she needs to be in control at all times. To be out of control is very threatening, even dangerous to Anemone's psyche, when she controls, she feels safe. Anemone is very emotional, her emotions are intensified, both good emotions and bad. Negative emotions of jealousy and resentment are hallmarks of this turbulent woman. On the other side, Anemone is well known for her forceful and powerful drive to succeed and her amazing dedication. Anemone is constantly trying to understand her emotions through finding a deeper purpose in life. She is very intuitive, but not as in a psychic sense, more as intuitive into the mind, she has a great understanding of the mystery and the power of the mind. Anemone has a fear of failure which she keeps hidden extremely well, should her confrontation not be successful, or her career fail, she will simply use her adaptive skill to quickly move and leave the bad experience behind. Do not ever expect her to fess up or share her tale with anyone however because this shows signs of weakness and Anemone always wins, she is always the self-proclaimed best!
One of the reasons she seem like she always accomplish her goals is because she set tangible short-term goals that she knows she can accomplish, she know what she is capable of and this is what she go for. Anemone is very wary about trusting anyone, a person needs to gain her trust and this gets built up over time and once all the ‘trust tests’ have been passed, Anemone loves deeply and intensely. Underneath the cool exterior, energies and emotions are constantly flowing but Anemone deals with this by channeling this into useful activities, hobbies, relationships or a career. This is never apparent to the outside observer but knowing this fact explains why Anemone is so passionate about whatever it is that she is undertaking. Anemone has powerful instincts and she trust her own gut feeling which is another reason why she seldom fails.
Never be fake with Anemone, she can see it a mile away. Be genuine with your comments and listen to her attentively, (she always have something interesting to say so this is never a problem!) Do not try to hide things from her or tease her, she always have to know what is going on. Remember, she is the only ones that are allowed to tease and present the mystery and intrigue! She likes frankness and honesty, speak your mind she will respect that. Anemone is interested in almost all activities, so finding something to do should never be a problem. She is unpredictable and could change course of the date mid-way through so take these last minute changes with a smile and try something different. She likes people who are not afraid to ditch a plan and try another. In conversation, do not tell her that her opinions are wrong or shoot her down, she is too proud for this and even if it is a joke, she might not take it with the humor that you meant. Never try to control her but do not be the damsel in distress either, she like strong, real people with driving ambitious personality like her's.

Door #500 - Pertopia
Anemone was born to demon parents and three siblings. She is the youngest of her siblings, having two big brothers and a big sister. Being born in a world like Pertopia, it's no wonder Anemone has the personality she does. Growing up where you strive to be the best of the best is not easy, especially if you are not good at nearly all the things your world has to offer. Anemone brought disappointment to her father every time she failed at something unlike her older siblings who each found something they were good at. Gardening, fishing, swimming, etc; you name it, she most likely fail at it at least twice. However, her mother found something Anemone took to so easily: magic. Her mother came from Skygge [Door #57] so she was an expert at Darkness. Teaching her youngest daughter the basic which Anemone was a natural at. This brought a smile to her father's face, something Anemone was a stranger to for so very long. She was only eight when her mother taught her about Darkness, manipulating the shadows within Pertopia to her advantage. It felt good to finally find something you was a natural at. Her mother tried teaching her other children but, learning magic didn't come as natural as it did for Anemone. Her father could use fire which is why he became a blacksmith. Anemone couldn't really use fire as well as her father did. Darkness was much easier to control.
Thousand Gates Academy
Anemone was doing an errand for her father when she first came across the door that would bring her to the academy. She was walking along the forest path, returning home when she saw a door. A door she was not familiar with. It was weird, this door was not here ten minutes ago when she went into town and yet, here it was. Right in her face. At first, she thought it would be best to continue forward, ignoring it but, she felt...drawn to it. Like it was calling her name. Sighing to herself, she knew she would regret doing this but, she may as well. Closing the distance, she inspected the door first before actually touching it. There was no knob, nothing for her to use in order to open the door. Maybe it was one of those doors you push in.
Taking a deep breath, Anemone, who is fifteen years old at the moment, pressed her hand onto the door's surface, giving it a push. However, the door doesn't budge. Groaning, Anemone was going to leave it alone and head on home but, she gave it a second chance. This time, placing both her hands onto the door and applying enough pressure, the door swung open causing the demoness to fall flat on her face on....cold....marple floor. Jerking up onto her hands and knees, Anemone with wide eyes took in her new surroundings. This was not the forest path, not Pertopia. This was...a new place entirely. She remembers her mother going on about other worlds but, Anemone never imagined she could enter one on her own!
When she turned to see if the door was still there, she was met with an empty corridor. Guess she was stuck here. She knew she was going to regret messing with that door.
Apprentice to Hedge Wizard
After learning what she could about Thousand Gates Academy, she was more acceptable of her predicament. This was the perfect place to learn how to hone her grasp on Darkness. After two years of being an 'Apprentice' (Anemone being seventeen during this time), she decided it was time to take the exam to become a 'Hedge Wizard'. This would be her first time taking the exam, so she didn't know what to expect.
She went into a deep meditation, finding her inner peace which brought her back in Pertopia surrounded by her family and friends. Tears swelled in the corner of her eyes as she reached out to touch her mother only for darkness to swallow her whole within a matter of seconds, leaving her within an empty void. It was cold, dark, empty. She felt like death had come to take her. As she was on the verge of crying, she felt someone's embrace. Out of the darkness, there was a figure that mirrored her own image, like her own shadow. There was an aura surrounding it, it was a warm royal blue. For some reason, it reminded her of her mother yet it did not resemble her mother. As she returned it's embrace, she could feel the aura seeping into her, filling every inch of her being as the shadow merged with Anemone, becoming one. She had found her aura.
Upon opening her eyes, Anemone raised her right arm, opening the palm of her hand as her aura outlined her figure; a golf ball-sized orb of darkness appeared in the palm of her hand as it slowly took the shape of a blossing flower. With that, Anemone passed, leaving behind 'Apprentice' and becoming 'Hedge Wizard'.
Neuromancer
Five years of being a Hedge Wizard, Anemone, now twenty-two years old, felt it was time to go up the ladder. It was time to become a Neuromancer. Passing the exam wasn't as easy as she thought it would be. It was tough, she almost fail. She thought she was going to but, all her hard work paid off. When she was given her seal ring to prove she was a Neuromancer, she got emotional, crying tears of joy as she gave her professor a tight hug.
The seal ring which she named the 'Torch Ring' allowed her to unlock her fire element. Anemone was now able to use Darkness and Fire. Being at this academy was finally paying off!
Wizard
Fifteen years have come and gone as Anemone was getting a good grasp on both her darkness and fire elements. At the age of thirty-seven, Anemone who was a victim of someone's 'love' spell which explains the bunny ears instead of her beautiful horns hopped at the chance of taking her Wizard exam. She did wait for the spell to wear off before taking the exam as her beautiful horns returned and those wretched bunny ears were gone.
The Wizard exam was hard, worst than her previous exams but, if they were easy, anyone would pass. The harder the exam, the better the reward when she succeeds. If she passes, she could return home or stay to further her education. Those were her choices. When told she passed her exam, Anemone was overjoyed. But, her professors asked if she would like to stay or return home. At first, Anemone did want to return home but, after spending so much time here, she decided to stay. She wanted to be the best she could be and that means, she'll have to work her way up to sage. Anemone was glad she could go around with 'Wizard' status instead of 'Neuromancer'.
Master
Anemone did return home for four years to catch up on everything she has missed back in Pertopia. She was able to tell her family everything she has done after coming across the door that brought her to Thousand Gates Academy. Her family was so worried about her, they were glad she was home safely. Anemone found out she was an aunt to nieces and nephews and a big sister to a baby brother who was already in his teens. It was hard to return to Thousand Gates Academy after everything she learned but, she told her family and friends she will return soon. Once she perfects her craft.
After spending eighty-two long years at the academy upon returning from Pertopia, Anemone felt it was time to graduate. Becoming a Master was only a step away from being a sage. One she will have plenty of time to strive for but, she has been at the academy for too long. She needed, no wanted to be a Master.
The exam for becoming a Master was the most difficult and challenging one she has ever faced in all her life. She almost failed this exam, she was too close to failing but, after spending one hundred and eight years at the academy, all her hard work, determination, passion led to this moment. The moment she was given her staff thus showing she was not only a graduate of the academy, but a full-fledged Master. And with her staff which she named the 'Aurora Staff', Anemone was able to unlock her energy element. Something new for her to get a grasp on.
Anemone Torch
One hundred and ten years at Thousand Gates Academy, Anemone Torch is now a Master, deciding to become a mentor in order to help other students to unlock their elements and further hone their skills in order to become Masters themselves. If they want to further their education of course. But, she is also still learning, training to become the best. She strives for perfection after all. She is still a student when it comes to magic regardless of her rank.
