Welcome to Kitty Haven Orphanage!
As you walk into the city of Awyr it is easy to get lost in the big city and the people in it. Un-like most who are here you are here to give a kitten a chance at a new life with happiness and meaning. You have brought only one thing with you to this city and that is a gift for one child or basket who will soon become yours. As you walk deeper into the city the more thing start to look like the slums. So you find what you are looking for and that is The Kitty Haven Orphanage. The building is old and starting to fall apart. This is no place for a child to live. Wont you take one away from this horrid place? As you walk in there are kits and baskets every where kits running and playing and baskets sleeping away. It looks a little better inside....just a little. A older Nghath steps forward. "Hello and welcome to Kitty Haven Orphanage. If you need to know anything just ask my dear." With that she ran after one of the kits yelling at him to give the girl her doll back.

Gift to baby: A delicious meal and warm, soft, cuddly blanket.
RP Response: Jagger wasn't sure when, or how he'd been struck by the spirit of giving, but suddenly he felt the urge to go do something nice for another. It was a horribly annoying feeling to be sure. He wanted to get this done and over with as quickly as possible. It had taken him awhile to decide who exactly was going to benefit from this. In the end he'd decided upon a child. The tike would be suitably grateful and look up to him.
Then had come what to give the child. Surely nothing sharp and dangerous would be allowed by whatever guardians were around. Jager wracked his brains for nearly a day. Then it hit him. An impoveredish child would welcome a good meal and warm blanket rather than demand expensive toys. This suited him quite well. The male made his preparations and located a suitable orphanage. He chuckled to himself all the way there; until he got into sight of it. This place was really run down! It was perfect.
The blue male strolled in with his chest puffed out. He grabbed the first kit he saw running by within reach. The poor female barely had time to react as Jagger grabbed her and set her off in a corner so the other kiddies wouldn't disturb them while she enjoyed his presents. When she looked about ready to cry at being set in a corner, Jagger humphed.
"If you cry I'll give these presents to someone else." He waited while she sucked up her tears and looked at him curiously. Then the male lavishly laid out the meal, sitting so he could block the view and watched with a smug smile. After the kit had eaten, he presented her with the blanket. "Use it well on cold nights girl." His mission done the blue male left the orphanage with his tail twitching.

I have no Nghath!

RP Response: The Angel with the Spikes
Doc was lonely this christmas season, she had heard about the wonderful creatures known as Nghath and had quested many years ago to find one in their mysterious habitat but to no avail. Doc sat on the sofa next to her Cathulu and thirty or forty hooting owls. She was surrounded by guitars and old metal records and cd's alike that littered her apartment floor. One of her prized owls, Winston a proud snowy owl, was shoving a letter at her. She took the beat up dirty letter and read in faded gold print "Adopt a Nghath today!" Her eye twitched for a second and then she ripped open the letter. Inside was a lovely little story about an orphanage for Nghaths..NGHATHS! She immediately threw on a coat and scampered out the door, trodding in three feet of snow.
Finally she came into an urban area. It was bustling with clumsy shoppers everywhere....she hated crowds! So immediately she ducked out of sight and by the chance, had literally almost run into the Nghath Orphanage. Out of breath she greeted the secretary but failed to keep her composure and immediately began to oogle over the cute little kittys. As the adoption secretary was rambling on about...I don't know? Doc's memory isn't very good...a kit caught her eye!
A lone kit that was sleeping in a basket far away from every with what looked like charcoal smeared around her eyes. "For the last time young lady I told you not to put that ghastly coal dust on your eyes!" The secretary called after the kit in the basket. The kit looked lazily from the secretary to Doc clearly not having any interest in what the secretary had to say. "Oi..hello there..." said the female kit. Doc giggled and pointed at the kit and prodded it in the head "You look like a little rockstar C: " she said with a goofy grin. The kit smiled and said "You like music too? Aw...who's your favorite...I like Megadeath" Megadeath was like nails on a chalkboard for Doc...she was a hard core die for Metallica fan.."Er..yah! They are cool how about Jackyl?"
Doc and the kit talked about an hour and a half until finally Doc ripped off her own choker and put it around the kit's neck "There! Now you really are a rockstar! So what do you like better rhythm or lead guitar" ...

RP Response: Gears, caught up in the very contagious Christmas Spirit, wanted to give, and it didn't take him long to figure out where and what. He was on his way there now, to Kitty Haven Orphanage, with his gift.
The male entered, looked around, and, after a few minutes of observing, he made his way over to a kit sitting by themself. All the kits were cute, but for some reason this one stuck out to him. "Hello," he greeted as he sat by the kit, smiling warmly. "I'm Gears. What's your name?"
After talking for a bit, to get to know them, the male presented what he had brought to the kit; a big, soft, red and gold bow. "Merry Christmas." After a genuine gasp of surprise and some delighted "thank you!"s, Gears tied the present around their neck and stepped back to admire.

RP Response: Luna laying in bed looking up at the ceiling lost in thought. His mind was wondering like it did offten. He was day dreaming about how thing could be here soon now that he was with someone who wasn't a total a**. He slowly moved his head to look for Russ.
Russ entered the bedroom, having gone into the kitchen to get a drink. It was so odd how easily he slid back into the couples routine. Maybe it was the other half of that couple. At least Luna wasn't with Zek anymore. If Luna had said no to Russ, Russ would have been okay with seeing him with anyone but that psycho. But Luna was here, and Russ loved it and him. Loved the fact that he finally found someone as well. Smiling, the redhead went back over to the bed and leaned down, kissing Luna. "Hello there."
Luna smiled as Russ walked in to the room.He never thought he would be here and like this with him but it is a dream come true. He kissed his lover back and smiled brightly. "Hello dear....i was wondering about something....how do you feel about children?"
Russ blinked. "Kids?" As in, little ones running around? "I...honestly had never thought about them before. At least, not in a having them on purpose sense." Thankfully, he hadn't had anyone find him and tell him that he had a kid courtesy of a one night stand. Russ sat down on the side of the bed. "Why? Are you wanting some?"
Luna sat up and quickly moved into russ's lap."I would like to have one...and there is this orphanage having a adoption day.......but its up to you.....cause i could wait forever....as long as i am waiting with you."He could help but to cuddle in closely and be all cute. That was just luna's nature."What do you think?"
Russ wrapped his arms around Luna, resting his chin on the top of his head. What did he think? Before, he had never entertained the idea. Not being one for commitment, and being one to live forever, there was just no way to raise a kid on his own. Too many questions. Too much drama. To have someone that finally accepted him for who he was though..."I think that I'm going to have to talk to my landlord about getting out of my lease early. Find a place that's big enough for more than two people."
Luna grinned and turned around and hugged him tightly."Aw russ i love you!"Nuzzling into his chest and giggling with joy."But do we want a boy or a girl?"Looking up into Russ's eyes.He was over joyed he would finely be able to have a real family.
Russ smiled at how happy Luna was. "Love you too." Yes. A kid would be perfect to have around. "Either would be fine with me. Unless you have your heart set on one or the other, or both, I'd say we take a tour of the orphanage and meet the kiddos before we decide which we want."
Luna nodded lightly."There is one thing though....we have to get a gift and the gift goes to the child we choose.....What should we get?"Luna was relaxed in Russ's arms. He felt safe and at home there...He only hoped that their child did too."I think you'll make a great dad for a little boy or girl."
"Hmm...Since we don't know if its a boy or a girl, it kind of needs to be gender neutral. What age were you thinking of?" He placed a kiss on Luna's forehead. "But not as great of a parent as you will be." Now that they were talking about it, Russ could see their family around a table, being a family. One of them fussing at the child to do what they were told, the other being a conspirator to help the child get into trouble....
Luna tought for a bit biting his lip cutely."Hm well i'm not that picky on age...what age would you like?"Luna was god with a baby or a child...either would be fine by him. He could wait to have a cute little one to spoil and cuddle.
Russ pulled a face. "No newborns or babies. I can't stand the crying. Not a pre-teen either. Might be better to have the kid like us before that age. Or maybe that might be the best age...they tend to need the most attention and care." He shrugged. "I guess pre-school age or slightly older. Something in the single digit age."
Nelo nodded lightly at his word."That works for me dear.....well then maybe a stuff animal or a fantasy book?"Luna was all bouncey and over joy at the thought of have a child to raise with his beloved Russ.
“How about a stuffed animal? They might want a friend to comfort them until they’re used to us and the new place.” Which they would have to find; and soon. Russ just really hoped his landlord would be cool about Russ needing to move out. Worse came to worse, depending on the kid’s age, they’d cordon off a corner of the bedroom. Russ eased Luna off of him and stood up. “We should probably go get the gift if we’re to make it.”
Luna stood up and streached all the way out and thought for a moment."Then lets go to the store now and find something cute.....what kinda animal should we get?"Luna grabbed his shoes as he spoke.
“A bear. Little kids like those don’t they?” Russ couldn’t remember his favorite stuffed animal as a kid. A stuffed animal was a stuffed animal was a stuffed animal right? Russ pondered a moment before grabbing his car keys off the bedside table. Would be easier to bring the kid home in one than to take a bus, taxi, or walk.
Luna nooded lightly and grabbed his coat and a blanket."Just in case it is cold when we start back home."He grabed Russ's hand."Let go."
Russ grinned. “You’re wish is my command.” A coat and blanket were a good idea. Russ’s clunker of a car that he bought after saving up sometimes didn’t work as well as he wanted. Would just be his luck for the heat to conk out today. Heading downstairs didn’t seem as bleak as it used to. The knowledge that this might be one of the last trips he made up and down the stairs helped. Outside, Russ looked around to make sure there was nobody unsavory hanging around and that his car was still there and in one piece.
Luna fallowed close behind him as all ways."I really hope we can get out of this hell hole and you know if i tell nelo about getting a kid he might give us both anther raise and he can baby sit....he loves kids...he has all ways been good with babies."He was so excited.
“Soon baby. Soon.” He had always planned on one day leaving, motivated eventually by Luna becoming his. That place wasn’t safe for Luna. And now with a kid possibly, they definitely needed a new place to crash. Russ laughed. “He can babysit for us while we’re working at the bar for him. Seems like a fair trade don’t you think?” And Russ wouldn’t turn down a raise. Normally he would if it was for something odd; but their boss liked throwing money and raises around. If it helped get their family started, Russ wasn’t going to complain. Grateful that the car was still there, Russ quickly unlocked the doors so he and Luna could get in safely.
Nelo quickly got into the car and giggled happily.He was gitty like a school girl. It was really quite cute to see."Oh Russ i cant wait to see all the children."
Starting the car, Russ fought with his seatbelt about working before finally easing out into traffic. “Me too.” Simply because of how happy it was making Luna. “And I bet they can’t wait to see us either.” Russ blinked as a thought occurred. Did that mean as soon as they entered they’d be overrun with kids? Ah well. Weaving the car in and out of lanes to fight the traffic, Russ finally pulled into a parking spot in front of a convenience store. “First stop.”
Nelo smiled and got out of the car and quickly grabbed Russ's hand to drag him into the store."Off to toys!"He dragged him back to where all the stuffed animals where."Do we want a plan teddy or something cute?"?
Good naturally, Russ allowed Luna to drag him around the store. “I say a plain one. We could always make it a family night one day helping the little one make the bear cute the way they want it.” Why buy something that wasn’t the kids taste when they could make it the way they wanted.
Luna smiled brightly as Russ gave him a great idea."Why dont i grab a hot glue gun and a bunch of stuff and what ever the kid does like we return and we can use to get to know the child we pick today...so they can learn to trust us and find out how much fun we can be?"
“Sure.” Russ looked at the stuffed animals. “If you want to go grab those, I’ll snag us a bear and meet you up front.” Divide and conquer. Get there sooner so they could spend more time with the kids before making a decision.
"Ok Honey."With that luna was off to get glitter and hot glue and all sorts of fun things to put on a bear.He was just so giggly.
Russ stared at the creatures in front of him for a moment before he grabbed a plain, light brown bear. Tossing it in the air a couple times, Russ wove his way through shopping carts and aisles to the registers, waiting for Luna to meet up with him.
Luna was soon back up front with tons of cute thing to cover the teddy in.Things for both boys and girls.
Once they were in line to pay, it was smooth sailing. It took more time to get out of the parking lot than it did for their purchases to be rung up. Even a little longer to finally reach their final destination. Russ looked over at Luna. “Ready?”
Luna so so gitty once they left the store he was so bouncey the whole ride there."I'm ready if you are my love."
“Always.” Russ grabbed the bags from the store, allowing Luna to take the lead. With how joyful Luna was, Russ thought it might put the kids at ease to see the other first before himself. Oh sure, Russ was happy; but he wasn’t sure how the kids might take to him.
Luna skipped a head slowly opening to door to see tons of kits and baskets every where. Luna giggled with joy."Oh russ look at them all!"
“Yeah. Kind of makes you sad to know that there’s a lot without homes.” At least these were the lucky ones to have been taken in. Russ smiled. “Now remember….we can’t take all of them home,” he joked.
Luna giggled lightly and looked around."So see anyone you like?"
“Pfft…Makes it sound like they’re food to eat.” Russ stepped into the room, dodging a couple kits that were chasing each other. There were just so many of them! All ages, colors, genders…Russ’s gaze stopped on a kit over by the windows, staring up into the sky and not paying attention to anything around him. “What about him?” asked Russ, nodding in the kit’s direction.
"All right.Come on."Grabbing russ's hand and dragging him along once again. Slowly walking over to the young boy."Hello."
The kit turned and looked at the two."Hi."
Letting go of Luna’s hand, Russ squatted down to where he was more eye level with the kit. “Yo. I’m Russ, and this is Luna. What’s your name?”
Luna smiled brightly and squatted down as well.
"I'm Leo...Its nice to meet you both."He was a bit shy but happy to meet someone new.
“Nice to meet you too Leo.” Russ shifted slightly to look out the window. “So what were you looking at out there? Anything interesting?”
"I was just watching to see who was coming in and who was getting to leave..."
“Oh?” Because he was wanting a last glimpse of his friends or because the kid really wanted a home of his own? “Do you do this all the time?”
"Yeah i do but normally my sister is with me but is is busy painting so she didnt have time to join me right now."
“A sister?” Russ couldn’t see Luna, so he could only imagine what the other’s expression might be. “Does she like painting a lot?”
Luna was so happy.He was bounceing..."I'll go looking for her then."
Leo watched Luna walk off."Yeah she loves to paint people any things...I'm not very good at it though."
Russ tried not to snicker at how his love was acting. “Well it would be odd if you were like your sister wouldn’t it? What do you like doing instead that she’s not good at?”
Luna started his search for the little girl.
Leo smile a bit."We both can sing but i'm good and playing instruments!"He was all prude of him self.
“Really? What’s your favorite to play?” Already Russ was liking this kid.
In a room off the hallway, a lone girl was at an easel, surrounded by art supplies. She seemed immune to the ruckus the other kits were making running through the halls. Her only focus was on the paper in front of her, and the brush in her hand.
"Drums!"He had the biggest smile on his face as he spoke.
Luna smiled brightly as he spotted the young girl.He walked in behind her."Hello?"
“Rock on! I play guitar myself.” Russ nodded. “You get much chance to play?” With so many kits and baskets, how well stocked was the orphanage in terms of toys and entertainment for them?
The girl jumped at the sudden voice behind her. “Drat it,” she muttered at the smear on her picture. She turned, eyes widening at the sight of an adult. “H-Hello. C-Can I help you?”
Leo sighed lightly but kept his smile."No offten cause the other kids get to play it too."
"I'm sorry i didnt mean to startle you....My Boyfriend is talking with your brother so i thought i would come looking for you."
“You guys ever have a competition?” At least the kid was getting some use out of it. “Or thought about starting a band?”
The girl blinked. “O-Oh…” She fidgeted with the brush. Were they trying to see how she and Leo acted away from each other? What if….”Are you wanting to only adopt one kid?”
"No we dont get to do any thing like that and yeah but no one here is any fun at all."
Luna bent down to her level."I wouldnt mind having two but really its up to my boyfriend Russ...I think your just to cute!...both of you."
“Well we’ll just have to see about the possibility of starting our own band won’t we?” Russ winked at Leo. “Maybe we can get your sister to sing lead even.”
The girl pouted. “That’s what they all say. ‘I need to check with my wife.’ Or ‘I need to check with my husband.’ And then they never come back.”
"Yeah...So does that mean you'll take both of us!?"
Nelo couldnt help but to smile even brighter."Hey now don't you worry Russ is told sweet heart and if he likes your brother as much as i saw he will want you both."
Russ nodded. “I’ve got to check with my boyfriend first, though I doubt he’d have a problem. Between you and me, I thought he was going to burst at the seams with all the excitement he was feeling.”
Tori set down her paintbrush. “I want to meet this Russ. Hear it from him himself.”
Leo laughed a bit."Really."
Lna sighed a bit."All right dear...what is your name?"
“Tori. And I don’t like being called dear or any of those other stupid pet names.” The girl made her way to the doorway when she remembered at least some of her manners. “What’s your name?”
Luna fallowed sighing.She reminded him of his sister...she hated that he called people dear and hun."Luna."He was hopeing Russ was having fun though.He was scared that she wasnt going to like him....It was making him wonder if kids liked him...he worries way to much.
“Pretty.” Tori ran out into the hall, ignoring that she caused another kit to fall down. She headed to the main area first, knowing that her brother liked looking out the windows. “Leo!” She ran up to his side. “Is it true?”
Russ turned his attention to the girl that just arrived. “Well hello. You must be the sister.”
"Tori!...Is what true?"Is so lost.
Nelo fallowing behind trying to not feel like kids hate him.
Tori rolled her eyes. “Well duuuuuh. These two misters adopting us?”
Russ’s lip twitched at the siblings’ interactions. “Like I was telling Leo here, I’d have to get the a-okay from Luna.” he smiled at his boyfriend. “Though if you’re asking about adopting both of you I bet he said we could huh?”
Tori nodded. “Mr. Luna said he’d have to check with you cause he said he thought both of us were cute.”
Russ rubbed the back of his head. “As long as you two don’t mind that it’ll be a little cramped ‘till we can move into a different apartment…I don’t see why we can’t adopt both of you.”
Leo grinned ear from ear."Yes then and Russ is so awesome."
Luna smile lightly."Then lets go for it but first me and russ have something for the two of you...right Russ?"
Russ scratched the side of his cheek, embarrassed at being called awesome. “Hm? Oh. Yeah.” Russ placed the bags in front of the two kids. “We weren’t exactly sure what anyone here might like so…”
Tori squealed as she spotted the different craft stuff. Most of the time it was just paint or colored pencils the kits were allowed to use. She quickly hugged Luna. “Thank you thank you thank you thank you!”
Leo grinned at the bear."Awesome....Lets get to work sis!"
Luna hugged her back."No problem....Tori."It took all he had to not call he a cute pet name.
“Yeah! We’ll make this the best bear ever!” With one last hug to Luna, and a quick one to Russ, Tori grabbed a couple of the bags and ran out, no doubt heading to the designated art room.
Russ laughed as he stood up to wrap his arms around Luna. “What do you think? Perfect start to the family?”
Leo fallowed behind her quickly.
Luna smile a bit and look into Russ's eyes."The best start ever."

Gift to baby: A magical crystal bell attached to a string
RP Response: It was the holiday season, and as such, it reminded Lalita of how lonely she was. It wasn't so much that she didn't have a mate, although she didn't, nor any prospective love interests, it was more the fact that she didn't have a child. Someone to unconditionally love and give to and in return know that she was making someone smile. A child that would jump on her bed on Christmas day yelling "It's Christmas It's Christmas, wake up!". She smiled at the thought that had allowed her mind to wander.
This is why she'd decided to go to the orphanage and adopt a little one of her own.
As she walked into the orphanage and looked around, she quickly realized there was a huge need here. So many little ones... she sighed sadly. Although she wanted to help each and everyone of them, she only had the ability to help 1 at this time. After talking to the staff she picked out a young girl who was playing with a dolly by herself in a corner. Occasionally looking out the window at the snow. Lalita approached her.
"Do you like the snow?"
The little girl looked back at her with wide eyes and nodded. Lalita smiled, "I do as well."
The little girl smiled back, a big honest and innocent smile.
"I..." she hesitated before reaching back to bring forth a crystal bell on a silver chain. "I brought a gift for you." She handed the bell to the youngster who looked back up at her with wide eyes. "It's an enchanted crystal bell. If ever you feel lonely or sad, ring it and only I will hear it and come to you, wherever you are, to make it better."
The youngster giggled and laughed throwing her arms around Lalita and Lalita smiled, wrapping her arms back around. After a long moment they separated. "I'll be right back." Lalita told the girl who was now playing with her dollie and the bell.
Walking back up to the staff again she smiled and asked, "Where do I sign the paperwork?"

Gift to baby: A basket of McIntosh Apples, a cowboy hat.
RP Response: Fritter was confident until she saw the city. She had been there before of course, but never once felt comfortable. She looked down at the basket and wondered if the gift was enough. These were city orphans. Maybe her gift wouldn't be fancy enough for the city sensibilities. Still, let no one say Fritter is a chicken.
With that she scooped up the basket again and marched into the city her head held high. Well, head held high for a while. As the buildings got closer together and the people out in the streets jostled closer to her, Fritter's nerves returned. When she finally made it to the Kitty Haven Orphanage she lingered outside for a few moments. She briefly considered leaving, but that would mean walking back through the streets without even trying. With that thought, she walked into the orphanage.
It took her a long time to get comfortable around the noise of dozens of kittens scampering around her. She chose to observe rather than seek out a kitten herself. She didn't quite know how to handle herself in this situation and didn't want to go about it the wrong way. Eventually a kitten came up to her and sniffed at the basket of apples. Fritter smiled, "You can have one if you like." They shared a few apples, and a few laughs. Fritter found that the kitten preferred to play outside, but they only got to go out once in a while because the orphanage was located in the city. Fritter told the kitten about the farm she lived on and about the animals that lived there. This kit really seemed like she would fit in well there. "How would you like to come live with me on the farm? You can help me with the orchard and learn to take care of the animals." From the side of the basket Fritter pulled a cowboy hat and plopped it on the kit's head. It sunk down over the kit's eyes. Fritter laughed a little and tipped it back to see the kit's face. "Don't worry, you'll grow into it."

A little kit wondered into the orphanage by mistake. In her mouth she held a toy given to her at birth. It was a stuffed rabbit as pure as white in color. Older Ngaths were questioning her about what she was doing there and where and mommy and daddy were. Through big tears, she told them she had gotten lost from her mommy while shopping. The rabbit stayed close to her as she looked around at the other kits. Many were looking in wonderment at her. "Is she knew here?" "Look at that bunny!" "I hope she doesn't stay.." All good and bad words alike were leaving the young mouths. A hush was brought onto the kits. "You can stay here until we find your mommy, young one." She moved close to the older Ngath. "W-why are all these kits here?" She asked, confused at why so many kits would be in one place. "They don't have mommy's and daddy's. So they're waiting for new ones to take them home." The kit nodded. She walked around with her bunny rabbit close. Soon she was with all the baskets. So many baby Ngath without homes or family. It made her sad. Then.. she heard her name. It was her mother calling her. Her mother was so happy to see her that she didn't even yell at her. "Let's go home now." She lightly pushed her little kit towards the door. Right before they were about to leave, the little kit ran back to the baskets and pushed her bunny rabbit under the blanket of a little boy's then ran back to her mom. "Why did you give him your bunny?" Her mother asked. "It was my friend for since I was like that, momma. I wanted someone else to have him."

RP Response: Her claws made little tapping sounds as she walked forward feeling a bit nervous with all the little ones around. They were all so busy and busy she didn’t want to end up stepping on one by accident as they raced past her. She smiled past a little boy who nearly ran into her trying to escape his friends in what looked like a game of tag. Her hind leg bumped into a basket causing her head to turn and look to make sure she hadn’t done any harm to the little one inside. The basket was half tilted and a little tail was hanging out. Easing her leg she let the basket go back to its normal position. Curious she inspected the area with a quick glance. The aged Nghath was busy with other little ones and this basket was just sitting out in the open with all the others darting around it. Worried the little one could get hurt Gwen pushed the basket over toward the side of the room. There she sat standing guard for a bit while she looked at the other little ones. A soft nudge made her look down a little boy was half out of the basket with a paw on her side looking up at her. Smiling she lowered her head and set the flower in the basket with the boy. “Here little one. I was going to find someone here to give it to and I think you’re just the one I was looking for.” She nuzzled his head gently. A small part of her worried a boy wouldn’t like the gift but to her delight he curled around the flower like it was the world’s most precious gem.

Gift to baby: A box of home made chocolate.
RP Response:
Godiva looked up at the orphanage. Her heart gave a little jolt, she was here to hopefully adopt another. She was alone herself. She head when to lonely hearts come together it was a beautiful thing. She slipped into the orphanage and watch at all the little ones playing. Except one. The little kit was in the corner, watching all the others play and have fun. This made Godiva frown.
She had a small box with her. She kept feeling herself getting closer to the kit, until she sat down in the corner with her. "Hello." Godiva smiled at the kit, whom in returned stared with large eyes. "I brought you something." She placed the box down, which didn't look as small now that it was compared to the kit. She looked at the box, then to Godiva. Shocked to see that the box was hers.
The kit glomped the box, instead of opening it and clung. "You know... there is something inside of it." The kit pawed the bow, and with Godiva's help it came off and the lid soon after. The box was filled with beautifully crafted truffles. Each one unique. The kit happily ate one than shyly offered one to Godiva. Which she happily took and ate. This kit had won Godiva's heart. "Would you like to come home with me?" With another glance of large eyes the kit was on her lap. She took that as a yes. As soon as the kit was ready she would go fill out the papers and bring her home.

Gift to baby: An injured bunny and a jacket.
RP Response:
Ash wandered into town, away from his familiar den and forest, and headed into the nearest store shivering. It was cold out and he decided this was the best time to spend the money he'd saved up. Not that he worked for any of it, it just so happened that a few dollars would blow into the woods after accidently being dropped. He found a good jacket, paid the cashier, and headed back home. On the way, he spotted a sign asking for people to donate to orphans. I'm a pretty good hunter... he thought to himself. Ash decided to donate something delicious. He dashed back home and started hunting. After much stalking, he managed to chase down a bunny. He was about to kill it, but tripped on the jacket and tumbled head over heels, crushing the poor thing underneath him. He scrambled back and untangled himself. The bunny tried to scamper away, but it's back leg was hurt, so he couldn't get far. I'd probably just scare them if I brought in a dead animal. He frowned, scooped up the bunny, and headed to the orphanage.
A door chime announced his presence and he was greeted with a smile. After explaining why he was there, he was ushered into a room full of children. Ash felt slightly overwhelmed by the number of bodies in the small room. He scooted over to a corner and sat there trying to ajust until a brave little someone tugged at his jacket. "Hello, little one." He smiled down at the kit, "I brought you a present. Ash took off his jacket, put it on the kit, and handed it the bunny. It snuggled into the warmth and held the bunny at eye level.
"It's cute! It announced with a little bounce, "but I don't think it will be happy here." It sighed, "There's no room for it to run around and heal." Ash frowned, he didn't want to take care of a bunny, he'd rather eat it. A thought occurred, "What if you came home with me to the forest? Then you could take care of it." The kit's eyes lit up and it held the bunny against its chest in the oversized jacket.
"That would be amazing!" The kit grabbed Ash's paw and dragged him out of the room. "Come on! I'll show you where to sign and then we can go home!" Ash felt as though he'd just been manipulated by someone much younger than him, but the excitement in the child's voice warmed his heart and melted whatever anger was in it. "You're going to love it there."
