That's right darling your favourite Prince has returned
While I've been gone I feel a treat you've all earned
So I gave myself a mission, a task I must complete
Close your eyes and submit yourself to my little treat
Some requirements must be made so I will get to most
To receive, in this guild you must have at least one post
I shall get the oldest members first and work from there
The poems and responses here you can feel free to share
Consider this a warm-up for the real event, I want to have fun
Until everyone has been visited by me I shall not be done
So please dress up in your finest attire and dance all night
Christmas or apocalypse themed, give it all your might
Dance hard, play hard, have fun as I expect to see you all
We shall celebrate the end of the world at the Pre-Christmas Ball
Is there anywhere else you'd rather be,
Than spending the night with wonderful me?
Okay dears in case you didn't catch it in the poem, I've set myself a challenge, a warm up for the Christmas event and I know it's probably going to be difficult but I will do it. I will.
I'm going to be hitting all of you with poems over the next week or so, however long it takes really. There is only one requirement:
- You must have posted at least once in the guild.
If you've done that then sit back, relax, drink some wine and enjoy yourself as your early present shall be arriving shortly. I'm going from oldest first so the newer you are to the guild the longer it will take.
In the meantime, have a ball, enjoy yourselves, dance! You're invited into the Rose Palace and that doesn't happen everyday. Dress christmassy (or prepared for the end of the world, your choice) and I shall see you on the floor.
Oh, and because I was asked, I will put a progress report up here.
