He grew up with two younger brothers and one younger sister, along with his parents, grandparents, and his aunts and uncles. When he was twelve, his ten-year-old sister was diagnosed with cancer. Because of the stage it was in, they couldn't operate. She died four months later. Since then, Ezra had shut out the rest of his family. If he isn't close to them, he can't fear losing them.
