Skygge is also know as the World of Shadows. The only element that can be manipulated in this world is darkness, more specifically the manipulation of shadows. Skygge is a vast world as it technically is every world combined into one, just pieced together in such a way that it works just so. Though it is part of every world it can not be accessed by all. The only way into this world is to go through the Shadows of ones own world. This world is a calm one with little war but much power.

Ophelia has always really kept to herself, but more so since her eldest brothers' coronation. That event changed her personality strikingly. With a short temper and no tolerance for reasons or excuses she is know for being combative. Which also gets her into trouble, but not all the time. She stays away from her people because she finds them irritating and aggravating. That is why she was a commander of the military she was allowed to do as she wished. At first the King had strongly said no but after a few months of seeing how she worked the soldiers she was given blessing. The only things that make her truly 'happy' are her powers. Other than that she doesn't really care about anything, she feels only disgust at her calm world. If you had never met her before and saw her you would think her beautiful and innocent appearance would carry over into her personality. This is the opposite of true however, she is quite the opposite. A pretty package with nothing but black coal on the inside.

Ophelia was born into the Monarchy of Skygge; a calm world known for it's Shadows. Among her siblings she is the third born and the only female. Meaning she has no chances of ever taking the throne, as only males inherit. Ever since her birth she was easily dismissed by her father and left to do as she pleased. Her mother the Queen always looked out for her and played favorite with her, as Ophelia was her only girl. The two spent much time around the sparring grounds with the soldiers. The Queens father had once been The Grand Commander until he passed on into the spirit world. The two became well versed in the act of battle quickly and gave the soldiers a run for their money. When Ophelia's father the King came down with disease and passed away, her eldest brother became King and his wife the Queen.
Ophelia had no taste for the her brothers wife and openly admitted so. In an attempt to distance her from palace life The King let her commander her precious military. Which had always been her real family and welcomed her with open arms. On the day The Queen gave birth to an heir she returned to the palace to 'give her blessing'. Instead she spit at on the floor in the Queen's Chambers and called the baby boy a 'Mutt'. In a rage the King stripped her of her powers and banished her away to a school where she would start a new life. He also stuck her back in her teenage body as to 'fully embrace the experience'. Her use of her abilities had been reduced to that of a new born. Until she earns her brothers forgiveness she is stuck as weakling among other breeds from variety of worlds.
