✄✄ I came from: 42 - Adarnia. A world of ice and snow. Mainly governed by Water, Fire, Time and Space. It is in the shadow of another planet much closer to the three suns who are at occasional and spontaneous war with the Angeli. There isn't much vegetation there, and whatever does manage to grow often freezes to death.

Caenen is a “the glass is half full” kind of guy. He loves to see the brighter side of things, and often does so regularly. When he isn't running his mouth he’s walking around and just looking at things, taking in the visual beauty of the world. He yearns to know more about everything and usually finds himself in some sort of trouble along the way by sticking his nose where it doesn’t belong. He loves company and takes joy in helping others, even if that person is his enemy.

Cain is royalty, even if he doesn’t want to admit it, or boast of it. His father is second to heir, meaning that once the original Lar died from an unknown illness, her spouse took over. Being the greedy and coldhearted man that he is, he decided that the heir process would skip from Caenen to his first son who will not marry, creating a male-dominated society. Cain opposed the idea, believing everyone is equal and tried to run away with his child and wife to another planet. They were stopped by the royal guard, and his wife was sentenced to banishment. The Lar took away his son and banished Cain as well.
Several years passed as he contemplated what to do. He managed to get his way back to a close by planet that neared Adarnia. He hid his wings and face as he took a cargo ship back to his home planet. He had several ideas in mind at how to get his son, Abelus, back safely. All of them included some form of violent revenge that he would need to do to get back at his father. He gripped the blade as he walked down the snow covered paths towards the palace. A rock settled itself in his stomach as he entered the building and was greeted by his none-the-wiser father. Caenen unsheathed the blade and held it to his father’s throat. Not something he’s proud of; but he still did it. After questioning him about his son, the old man chuckled and called for the guards who quickly took down the young Angelus to shackle him, and sure he couldn’t spread his wings.
They quickly declared he would be sentenced to death with the world watching. He stared down at the pit before him. He would fall through the air and into a room where he would bleed out, and be tortured. The public thought he would be incinerated immediately, but he knew better. He stared down at the door being slid open for him to enter through. Something about it though… seemed strange at best. It wasn’t the right fit for the usual door, and he didn’t recall his father ever talking of remodeling the “Gates of Helen” as they called it. He was soon pushed, as he fell. He knew the fall wouldn’t kill him; he had taken much worse plummets onto harder surfaces. But he couldn’t help but feel like this was the end for him and this world. He fell into the doorway, and he shut his eyes, accepting his fate. Until he opened his eyes again; where he found himself not in the grip of Helen and her guardsmen with torturing devices. But in the comfort and odd appeal of The Thousand Gates Academy.
