Figure I should take her out of the box at some point. It's nice when a guild has a color scheme to identify themselves with, but what do you choose for a guild like this, really? I decided to go with mainly black or white, but with rainbow accents. It's simple, versatile, and fun. By no means do you have to follow this! But anyway, I got a little excited and started drawing a mascot character. She'll probably need to be changed, but! Haha. (what are legs)This doesn't mean she'll be the official mascot by any means, but I figured I'd do something. I called her Ayano 3nodding I want her to have a male counterpart as well. But I also want opinions on all this because I don't want it to be all my decisions! ( ´ д `);;

- - - » The End is the Beginning She's super adorable ♥ Love the pens sticking out of the dessert glass~
I really don't see anything I'd change. My personal preference is for blacks and grays to be cool rather than warm but warm works really well to create an inviting atmosphere.
Oh, oh, oh! For the make counterpart, can he be a megane? * u * I-I mean, artists often do close work so their eyesight might be off, especially working on a computer. ...Right? The Beginning is the End - - - »

I love her. I really like her eyes, the tray of sweets, and the hairbow. Wouldn't change a thing.
For the counterpart, perhaps a servant? I feel like they should have some sort of resemblance? Like a bow tie just like her hairbow or similar eyes. Or they could be opposites. Oh goodness, this is exciting!

I like it. It looks nice, and Very colourful. :3 I thought about a few ways we could integrate the mascot into advertisements and banners and whatever, and thought I'd throw together a little wallpaper, as well as a bit of a color scheme test. One of the great things about rainbow accents pair with neutral colors is that it goes with just about everything. I think if you decided you wanted to go with an official mascot like this one, it would look nice on banners, wallpapers, and whatever the guild needed. Obviously you don't have to do anything with this, I just thought I'd throw out an idea of what kinds of things we could do with her if she did become a mascot. ^..^ Desktop Wallpaper Design & Color test:

The color samples are all sized down into one image, though I do have the full sizes on my computer if you'd like them. ^..^

- - - » The End is the Beginning Nifty! I like the top one best :3
The logo = ♥ I don't know what else to say about it other than that.
Takumi's expression makes me laugh! xD And for some reason he looks more like a bartender than a waiter to me. Not that it's a bad thing! They probably have the same outfit anyway. Can't wait to see how he comes out! c:
and what you're studying looks slightly terrifying o Ao

Vermillion-Syndrome and what you're studying looks slightly terrifying o Ao It's only integral calculus. :3 ....:'3 No but really, it only sounds scary. Only like.. 15% of it is actually tricky to grasp if you pay attention. And do the homework. ... Which I don't fffffff sweatdrop

O-only?! I don't think I'm required to take something like that! And trig is giving me enough problems...
It looks like trig plays a role in that class but I was wondering, does regular calculus use much trig at all? *crosses fingers and hopes not*

The Beginning is the End - - - » It's actually used a lot, unfortunately. I didn't have much problem with trig though, so maybe that's why I don't see it as bad? If you need help with trig I can see what I can do; not that I'll remember everything, but I can see if I can explain things in a way that will make more sense. One of my favorite sites for math help, though, is Khan Academy. There are videos for almost everything in every type of math up until ...well, I still find it helpful, that says something, haha. They also have free endless practice problems up through calc I (which is one step lower than what I need /sob), so if you're like me and work well with the endless drilling using interactive means rather than a text book, be sure to check it out. They've also got some other subjects, though I haven't really dwelled in them. I guess they added some good tools for learning and playing with JavaScript as well, which I plan on sinking my teeth into but I have to get through my classes first x3" In any case, good luck with your endeavors, and if there's anything in particular you don't understand, I can try to take a peek at it. 3nodding [Edit] I should add, though, that if you do have to take calculus, it will blow your mind. Really, the hardest part about it is the maneuvers I think; the algebra. A lot of it is just remembering rules, what I have trouble with is when radicals and fractions come into play in tricky arrangements. But the rest of it is really pretty neat. razz

MimiMinTan One of my favorite sites for math help, though, is Khan Academy. I'm a really big fan of the Khan videos too [Especially since I'm an advocate of self-education]. My favorites are the Vi-Hart videos; she makes math interesting and fun to learn, in my opinion. I haven't been on the site in a while, and didn't know they had added a Computer Science category. I'll definitely have to check those out! biggrin
