Everyone knows Ollivanders! The thousands of shelves, covered in chaotic structures of wand boxes that only the owner seems to understand. It's musty and dusty, but with a homely feeling to it. It has not changed since Ollivander has died, and is still the most loved, and tallest building in Diagon Alley besides Gringotts, which towers everyone's business. Ollivander only sells three wand core types, because they work the most efficiently with the right wizards. If you've got something like kelpie hair in your wand, it will not be from Ollivanders! All wands cost 50 galleons. If you want to figure out the wand for you (Or your charactar) then sign up to Pottermore, you lazy buggers! Or click here. It's obvious that JK. Rowling has worked hard to produce such amazing work, so don't take it for granted! (If both of those options is too much for you, then post as your character and I'll set you up with a wand. Annabel grabbed the powdery dust that Timothy gave her and entered the fireplace. "Diagon Alley?" She said meekly and she ended up here, in front of Olivander's. She looked around and noticed all of the witches that were walking around. People were walking past her, bumping into Annabel. She hoped that Timothy would come soon...

5th Year He arrived in the chimney, but then tripped on his way out and fell on someone, who roughly threw him off into a wall. "Watch what you're doing!" they snapped and walked off. Tim scowled slightly, but then saw Annabel and hurried over to her "I see you found Ollivanders. Come on, let's go inside." he walked in and felt his robes to check he still had his money. 50 galleons was a lot of money, but wands were precious and she needed equipment. Not having a wand was like not having hands... it would almost be pointless to go to school without them."Ah, I know this one!" A man in his forties beamed at Tim from the shadows "11 and a half inches, yew, dragon heart string, flexible." he recalled as he walked up to them both. He frowned at Annabel, but then grinned "Are you here for a new wand?" he asked hopefully. He hated the idea that he'd forgotten someones wand... He saw that as an insult.

Annabel was hesitant, but then started to see that the man wasn't like the people on the streets, he seemed nicer. "Yeah! I've never gotten a wand before.." she looked towards the man as he looked around on the shelves. The shelves were filled with tiny raggedy boxes filled with wands. Ollivander grabbed the box and handed a wand to Annabel. It was beautiful, and fight perfectly in the palm of her hand. He looked down towards Annabel and stated, " It's Apple wood, 10 1/2 inches, and with a unicorn hair core. It's small, but powerful. You see, the wand chooses it's owner, I just unite them together."

5th Year Tim sighed as he handed over a large pouch of galleons. "That's fifty." he told him, looking away from the money so that he didn't get upset over his loss. Instead he looked at her wand and smiled a little "It suits you. What else do you need? I don't have a lot of money to spare, but if there's anything you need that the school can't supply, I'll get it."

5th Year Tim frowned untrustingly "Oh, so you already have a standard size 2 pewter cauldron, crystal phials, a set of brass scales and a telescope?" he folded his arms "As well as all of your books, too?" Tim shook his head as he headed towards the door, but stopped to hold it open for her "Are you sure you don't want to double check your list, or shall we go back to Hogwarts?"

Annabel looked down and felt bad for lying, but she didn't want him to pay for everything. She already felt bad about her wand, no less a cauldron, scale and telescope! "Well.. I don't want you to pay for all of this, a standard size 2 pewter cauldron, crystal phials, a sat of brass scales and a telescope isn't cheap! I'll just wait till I can get the gallons, or galleons whatever you call your currency, I mean it shouldn't take long, right?." Annabel then walked out the door, and down the street hoping to take her mind off of everything and look at new stuff. She realized Tim was far behind, but she knew he would catch up sooner or later. "You coming slowpoke?"

5th Year Tim smiled "Yes, of course! By the way, getting back to Hogwarts through floo powder isn't as simple as leaving through floo powder." he followed her out and led her around to a fire place "Oh wait, do you want to leave, or explore a bit?" he bit his lip for being presumptuous.
