✄✄ I came from: door 78 - Gannah, the djinn world. Gannah exists in a space adjacent to the human world, so much that both coincide often and djinns are allowed to pass and meet humans. Since there are several different tribes of djinns, they are often territory wars but it is nonetheless a rather peaceful world and most of its inhabitants are more concerned with messing with humans than with fighting against eachother.

Zev is not particularly outspoken nor sociable, but it doesn't mean he'll let you trample over him. Though he is mostly quiet and keeps to himself, he has a strong will and a sharp tongue and is more than willing to use them. In spite of how that all sounds, Zev is far from shy and will easily voice his own thoughts and opinions. His single-track mind and general lack of tact might come off as cold sometimes, but he hardly ever notices it nor he cares much about it when he does. He's very level-headed and not noticeably emotional, often being accused of cold. He is very smart and has accumulated large amounts of knowledge in his short life, but he's not particularly inventive nor good at thinking outside the box. Zev has always been the intellectual type, preferring a good book over an afternoon outside anytime. He doesn't appreciate being underestimated and will go to great lengths to prove his worth. In spite of his seemingly strict demeanor, he can't deny his djinn nature. Zev loves playing pranks and messing with people, and can be downright cruel when someone rubs him the wrong way.

Zev was born into the largest djinn clan, which meant the wars going on in his world were completely foreign to him. In spite of being a firstborn, he was allowed by his somewhat liberal parents to pursue his own interests instead of following his father's footprints. He led a rather average life, going to school, living with his parents and sisters and wandering into the human world from time to time since his 15th birthday like most kids.
Zev had always had an interest for magic and his grandfather, being a Sage specialized in illusion magic, always encouraged it. It was, in fact, thanks to him that he had found the school and managed to convince his parents to allow him to attend. He enjoys illusions, probably because he idolizes his grandfather, but he is most proficient in fire magic. Zev is worried the weight his grandfather's name carries would make others expectations for him too great and he won't be able to reach them.
